As requested, the following information will outline a simple standardized process for which interviews are to be conducted.

A. Preparing an interview:

1. When a prospective recruit has been identified it is standard practice to inform members of the family. Doing so is to keep all members aware of the situation and to keep everyone informed well involved.

2. Interviews, like meetings are to take place on either a Monday, Wednesday, or Friday. As such interviews should avoid being performed on the same day the recruit is discovered. This gap in time serves to allow the recruit to openly interact with the family.

3a. The aforementioned interaction of the potential addition to the family with the existing members serves as a gauge of the reruit. Paraphrased from a previous meeting with our leader, Aidan_Wolf, "No member will be omitted to to the family if the make existing members uncomfortable."

3b. The final guideline persists for female recruits. It is necessary that they gain the approval of at least a single existing female member of the organization.

If a recruit still checks out with overhead guidelines, then the recruiter is free to setup up an interview.

B. Calling an Interview

1. Currently all interviews are to be preformed on either a Monday, Wednesday, or Friday (for reasons explained above) in a personal space of the interviewer. Unless special circumstances require an alternative date, this should be the norm.

2a. Interviews are to include a minimum of four existing family members.

2b. At least one of the members attending the interview should be of CapoRegime rank or higher.

3. While not written in stone, it would be helpful if the recruiter of the potential member was present during their recruits interview. This is merely a sign of good faith.

If the aforementioned requisites have been met, then the interview is clear to commence.

C. Conducting the Interview

Step 1: Greet the recruit and welcome him/her to the interview location. Ensure said recruit that as a family we are honored that they have taken an interest in the Omerto organization.

Step 2: Verify that the recruit is still interested in joining the family. If so, continue the interview with the following rules.

Step 3a: The first rule dictates an age requirement. While it is unnecessary to know the exact age of a incoming member it is important to make sure that they are currently at least eighteen years old.

Step 3b: In the case that the recruit is the age of seventeen, explain that they will require an unanimous vote for them to become a member of the family.

Step 3c: If they are under the age of seventeen, please inform the recruit that this group can not currently permit their admission but they are welcome to try again when they have reached the adequate age.

Step 4: While this rule is usually considered the most relaxed of them all, it is important that each family member presents themselves properly when in a formal family meeting. Due to current global economic issues this rule can at most times be held off if formal clothing is unaccessible currently. Despite this, it is crucial that a member of the Omerto family never enters the Godfather 2 without being clad properly. This is to ensure that our organization remains well respected in the Home society.

Step 5: The simplest of all rules asks that all Omerto family members utilize the Purple name tag. If this rule is questioned, please inform the recruit that it is a favorite of the Boss

Step 6a: The final, and single most important, rule revolves around the persisting appearance of Respect, Honor, and Loyalty amongst every single member of the Omerto organization. As such, respect is to be given at all times to everyone that a family member encounters. This method dictates the way that our organization handles confrontations with people and should be explained by the interviewer.

Step 6b: As an extension through respect members are expected to behave in an honorable fashion at all times. Due to this, it is expected that no member of the family will engage in less than favorable behavior. Such behavior includes harassing other players on home, misconduct towards female players by male members of the family, and dishonesty. The actions of anyone in the family can have detrimental effects on the family's collective appearance.

Step 6c: Most important of all, member of the Omerto family are a tight knit group of individuals who are fiercely loyal to one another. It is suspected that any single member will act in a way to protect the entire group. In return, the entire family will gladly act in the interest of a single person. This loyalty is also extended to important friends of the family, who the recruit should meet in time, if they are admitted.

Step 7: A brief layout of the ranking system can be found here, and easily explained to a recruit during an interview.

Step 8: After all of the aforementioned information has been presented, simply ask if any of the existing members in the room have anything in particular to add.

Step 9a: At this point verify once again that the recruit has maintained his/her interest in joining the Omerto family.

Step 9b: If they have maintained their desire to join the family, then ask the recruit in what way they believe they could be a positive addition to the family. As such skills such as recruiting or negotiation may be brought up as valid answers, or perhaps "merely" honor and loyalty.

Step 10a: At this point the recruit will be expected to step out of range of the discussing members who are about to vote on the recruits addition to the family. Once the voting is over the recruit will be collected and informed of the decision.

Step 10b: If the recruit has been voted in, then they will be asked to simply register upon these forums as a finalization.

*Insert congratulations here*

If I, due to incompetence, have failed to mention something feel free to correct me or make additions as necessary
