Gentry Posts: 70 Group: Ω Owner Member #1 Joined: Apr 3, 2008	Let me start off by saying Will Smith is an great actor. If it wasn't for him this movie would suck even more. This movie was more of a drama than a action like they lead you on to believe. Put someone as a "poster child" with a gun, and have the word "Legend" in the title, makes people assume there will be alot of killing. The special effects were great. The acting was great. The directing was great. The lore sucked! Well one, Dr Robert(Will) shoots about 0 infected through the whole movie. He hits some with a car, but that doesn't mean they are dead. He shoots 2 infected dogs, and one wax figure. The rest of the death is from the infected who didn't turn "zombie-like" and died of the disease. Oh wait, I remember he did kill one, singular, infected. It was dark and you could hardly see anything, but after that he just runs away from the rest. It's honestly crap. It also seemed extremely short, but other than the lack of action scenes the movie was pretty good. It shows the world as it could happen with a genetically created virus. Except they go a little overboard with the grass growing in New York, I live in the mountains and no one mowes back the grass and the street has nothing growing through the cracks. But I guess they just wanted to get the point through that the world of humans would go wild if we just had to abandon what we created. Spoiler: click to toggle The way he had to kill his dog was touching, but definetly not needed. Why didn't he atleast attempt to chain it up and cure it? If he can chain it up a human and can chain up a damn dog. The ending is what really got me. No way did he have to sacrifice himself. He would have threw the grenade through the crack in the glass the Alpha male infected broke open and jumped in the coal chute. It was pretty heroic though, and even though I don't believe in the divine it was pretty cool how "god" gave the signs to him, his child saying "look daddy it's a butterfly" the smashed glass looking like a butterfly, and a butterfly tattoo on Anna's neck.
