First Name: Montparnasse Last Name: Unknown Gender: Male Age: 18 Appearance: A fashion plate in the Paris sepulchre, Montparnass lives to be well-dressed. He fancies fine black clothes, ones that make him seem mature and sophisticated. His jackets are always of the best cut (though typically threadbare) with a hankercheif in the pocket and a flower through his buttonhole. He fashionably tips one end of his hat up--because that's whats in style and Montparnasse will settle for no less. He sports charming wavy black hair that he curls at the end to give it an extra flare. He treats his locks with oil, and which, along with the best cologne on the market, gives him the smell of flowers. ~Height: 5"5 ~Build: Slender waisted, hips like a girl's, and the chest of a Prussian officer. ~Skin: Porcelain white with rosey cheeks and red lips ~Hair: Shiney Black ~Eye Colour: Light green ~Accent/Phonetics: Genteel and effeminate yet his accent is particularly harsh. He's versed fluently in argot but uses it only when its necessary--slang isn't really so becoming of a gentleman. Complimentary to his sluggish nature, his sentences are slow and suave. History: The first true real memory Montparnasse can relate to is sitting cross legged on the curb in front of his flat, while his mother, at the time a penniless burlesque dancer, departed on a carriage that held everything but his own mattress in the back. He took refuge in the empty apartment for a day or so, until the new tenants arrived and the land lord evicted him accordingly. From then on he made home in the streets of Montparnasse, where he was distinguished affectionately as ‘that nice little boy without a name.’ Always chipper with a nice word for everybody—it should be noted that the child wasn’t initially evil. He carried a positive and simple attitude of his miserable plight—when he was tired, he laid in the gutter, when it rained he sat under garbage, when he was bored he played with a whiskey bottle, when he was bothered, he moved away from his antagonists, life was no science. Actually, the vice in him hadn’t sprung from hardship at all--it started when a young lady on her way to church patted his cheek and said-‘Oh my aren’t you handsome!’ Henceforth the stain of darkness was cast onto his heart. Aware that he was handsome, he wanted to be elegant. He craved to wear fine clothes, smell nice, to buy wine whenever he wanted it, for women to look at him, everything, simply getting by was no longer good enough. His pitfall was becoming lazy; he refused to work for any of these things. As a default, he began plucking money from the pockets of strangers, eventually selling things he took from their homes, soon enough, threatening them for a profit, and it only got worse. Not even the bloodiest murders were above him. He was the gamin, turned vagabond, turned killer. He lived by robbery with violence and aspired to all crimes-which he found his most flourishing success in the bowls of the Capital. At eighteen, he became inglorious to the Parisian underworld, one of four degenerates that govern all criminal enterprises in the department of Seine—the other three being Babet, Gueulemer, Claquesous. The name of the network beneath them is notoriously referred to as Patron Minette. ~Family Member(s): A mother-who's name and where abouts are unheard of. Montparnasse simply knew her as 'Ma.' ~Lover: Many--the most familiar being Eponine. Personality: Epicene and deadly with an irresistible charm. Although Montparnasse has the ability to change his personality at the drop of a hat, there are certain qualities about him that remain rooted. He is unfailingly graceful and mannerly under all circumstances, except for in the face of defeat, where he tends to become sarcastic. He has a short attention span and is rarely prone to astonishment which makes him appear devoid of any genuine emotion. Love, happiness, sadness, and disgust are all absent in him, the only thing left is an entanglement of vices. He is self centered, envious, gluttonous, and incurably lazy. All of these qualities make him occasionally thick headed. He tends to miss the bigger picture. On a side note, Montparnasse also holds a particular fondness for the urchin children of Paris. Once familiar with their predicament and way of life, he likes to relate to them and shamelessly speaks to them in the same manner he would with another adult. ~Quirks: He recieved the name Montparnasse because of where he grew up. Madame Thenardier gives him the willies. And there’s a knife in his pocket—don’t walk into it. ~Sexual Orientation: Meterosexual ~Other: Montparnasse, Babet, Gueulemer, and Claquesous are in cohorts with the Thenardiers quite a bit. Secret Word: Canorous sesami! Edited by Themiraculous, 16/10/2008 - 05:23 pm.

PROFILE OVERHAULS 30/10/08! —- -§- -§- -§- -–v Quote of the Moment v Babette wanted desperately to look behind her. To find a kind face...to find any other face...but all she saw was his: Pointed, dilapidated and thin, with odd, almost sickly yellowing skin. This, she concluded, was the first time she’d ever seen someone truly hideous. Inside and out. Babette Pomeroy A Day Trip to Downtown Paris | |
