First Name: Raoul Last Name: de Chagny ~Prefix: Vicomte Gender: Male Age: 21 Appearance:  ~Height: 5'9 ~Build: Toned ~Skin Tone: Fair ~Hair Colour: Blonde ~Eye Colour: Blue ~Face Claim: Jim Weitzer History: Raoul, who is the youngest of four siblings, was raised by his aunt after both parents had died (his mother when he was born and his father when he was about 12). During his time living with the aunt he developed an interest in sailing and when he was old enough he joined the crew of a training ship. However, a few years before that he and his aunt spent the summer by the shore. One day as he and his governess went for a walk he came across an young girl of about his age and a man playing the violin. Raoul was at once enthralled by the girl’s voice and so when the wind took hold of her scarf he dove right into the waves to get it for her. After this the two became friends. Then came autumn and separated them, but the next year they met again at the same place and during the course of this summer Raoul began to realise his true feelings for Christine. But after he never saw her again and Raoul, knowing that even if they should ever see each other again they most likely wouldn’t be able to marry, tried his best to forget her. He did this by spending his time at sea, learn his skills, and travel the world. Some time ago he was picked out to join the crew for an expedition to the Arctic Circle to search for the lost members of the last expedition. But currently he’s on a leave of absence, in Paris. ~Family Member(s): A brother named Phillipe and two sisters. Both parents are deceased. ~Love Interest: Christine Personality: Raoul has the shyness of a young girl, which is due to him being raised by more or less only women, and he blushes easily. But on the other hand his journeys have made him more experienced than one would think. He can sometimes be too rash in his decisions and on his bad days he wouldn’t care what it takes to reach his goals and he hates feeling helpless. He loves the smell of the sea and wouldn't like to be away from it for too long. The only thing he loves more is Christine, whom he hasn't been able to get out of his mind during all the years that's passed since he first saw her. Depending on how you see it, this makes him either a fool who hasn’t been able to move on or a very loyal lover.
