That's right, I'm taking auditions! Kidding, kidding. First of all, we have Valentine's fiancé, Crispin Dexter. He's very English, and a business contact of her family, so fairly well off himself. So far, as for character, he seems to be fairly shy and a little nebbishy. The two are close, even if they aren't physically intimate, and somewhere along the line they'll hopefully get married. As to why they aren't physically intimate, it's up to you. Is he gay? Asexual? Just very polite? Only sexually attracted to women with black hair and green eyes wearing purple dresses? Or secretly pining for her while she rudely rebuffs him in favour of seclusion and her killing jar? (Annoyingly, my brain keeps insisting his PB would be Gareth David-Lloyd, with his Welshness surgically removed in favour of Englishness.) And on the other side of things, we have Ophélie. She and Val have been romantically involved since school, it seems, and if they're intimate in any other way, it's probably through letters. I hope to elaborate on her later.
