In his newspaper articles he signs as "Cassius" and this is, of course, highly symbolic. LAST NAME: Lucassen ~Prefix: comrade or citizen; he hates being called "sir" GENDER: Male AGE: early 30s APPEARANCE: He wears a short moustache and stubbles, and short hair. Dressing: Simple working-class clothes, usually black, brown or grey, he never wears a hat like gentlemen. Either nothing or an old brown worker cap. ~Height: 6'1" ~Build: Skinny but steely ~Skin Tone: light brown ~Hair Colour: black (curly) ~Eye Colour: dark brown ~Face Claim: Serkan Kaya ~Accent/Phonetics: Strong Italian accent. He likes to mix Italian words in his speech. HISTORY: Born to a Corsican prostitute and a Dutch soldier, he was raised in extreme poverty. His mother died when he was about 12, and he came into Paris. From a gamin, he turned into a typographer. It was a hard work and he lived under bad circumstances, but it helped him a lot: he began to read and he got enlightened how wrong this society is. He dreams about a free republic where everyone is equal and there is no poverty. Kinda socialist uthopy, you could say. He wrote some articles into a left-winged newspaper, and he spent a few months in jail. That teached him to hate the police and to worry about convicts' rights. After he got out, he soon found himself amongst the leaders of the Anarchist group. Now he and his friends edit a newspaper. Lurkan is a known figure in his circles (and also known for the police, what he doesn't like so much). ~Love Interest: He hasn't found her yet, but, in my opinion, he really needs some love. Always that damned politic! ~Crush: Marat. Kinda dead and totally platonic. PERSONALITY: Chaotic neutral. Very passionate and fiery. He draws his dagger way too easily. He hates aristocrats, priests, bourgeois and factory owners with a burning passion. He calls himself an atheist, but he can't be totally free from his childhood faith or better superstitions: sometimes he just stalks into a church and gives the Holy Virgin flowers and candles. But he always argues about God if he has the opportunity. He sympathizes with working class people and the Italian carbonari. He has read Marx, Fourier and other socialist philosophers. He is on the border to turn into a criminal: as he fights against the "bourgeois" order, he could become a bandit or even an assassin if needed. He can often be found in obscure taverns or opium lairs. He says it gives him inspiration to writing, but - what he doesn't admit - it's also the fastest way to self-destruction. He rarely needs sex; his energies feed the "case" and politic is his real love. When he feels the need, he fetches a prostitute. Although half-Corsican, he hates Buonaparte. (Refers him so.) ~Quirks: Very superstitious. Has an unhealthy crush for fire. Idolizes Jean-Paul Marat and Caius Cassius. Kinda fangirls them, if you can use this word on a serious anarchist. ~Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual ~Other: Anything else about your character that you'd like to tell us?
