Found a 19th century website that you think would be helpful for your fellow members?
Maybe something about typical mannerisms, or dress, or even illnesses that were around in this time period?
Any sites you've found that may help with accuracy in posting or the like can be posted here and will be added to this post!

Or, if you need to look something up, come here and see what sites are available for your use.
And sometimes the sites are rather fun to look through 'just because'.

Little Details @ Livejournal

It's a goldmine for info, and the format (question and answer) means that if you ever have a really tough problem that's vital to a plot or somesuch, you can ask and receive help for it. Not to mention it's fascinating reading...

*ahem* It's Alec's fault I find all these medically related sites. I swear.

19th Century Remedies from the Home Doctor
Old fashioned remedies for old fashioned diseases.

19th Century Slang Dictionary
Slang dictionary - mostly English. I fear it is slightly out of date... though I have no idea why this would be a problem in a historical dictionary.

Nineteenth Century Diseases
More diseases!!

Changed the link to Victorian Morality. I've found this site that seems to be chalk-full of general info on just about everything. A bit more reliable than Wikipedia, I believe, though we do all love that too. :3
