As such, many Aeromancers who choose the path of combat spend a great deal of time and effort in perfecting their ability to strike frequently and effectively with this ability, though Eveline’s skill at it is merely average. ---Scythe Wave Rank: B++ Type: Magical Speed: Prepared Effect Cost: 80 Mana, 50 Health, Turn Action Upkeep: 30 Mana, 20 Health Duration: 3 Turns Requirements: None Properties: Bounded Field, Skill Enhancement, Wind Elemental Targets: Current Area Perception Difficulty: 1 Description: Eveline sets into place a bounded field that permits her complete control of all air in her current location, far beyond her normal limited ability. Proper use of this technique is still outside of her degree of technique, however, and utilizing it begins taking an immediate toll on her body. Furthermore, due to the already difficult time she has holding the mana framework in place, concealing its effects and nature from other magi is nearly impossible for her. -While Scythe Wave is in use, both of Eveline’s attacks will be greatly modified, increasing their power: -Can be cancelled as a Free Action. -Eveline cannot regenerate health while Scythe Wave is active. Using her tail and a supply of mystical ink, she can turn the world into a canvas and reshape reality by painting a single line. She is further surrounded by a divine aura that acts as a barrier of sorts, protecting her from immediate harm. -Amaterasu receives 10% less damage from all attacks with an Elemental Property. -Amaterasu receives 20% less damage from all attacks with the Divine Property. -Amaterasu receives 30% less damage from the first single hit she receives in a fight. ---Fleetfoot Rank: D Requirements: Amaterasu has Ink remaining Description: Using her lupine reflexes, Amaterasu can navigate the battlefield with overwhelming speed and finesse. This can lead to negative growth, and will lead to a SEI reduction of 10 per turn if Rite of Purification is currently active. As Blessing of the Sun Goddess can be active in up to three areas at the same time, those effects stack. -The strength of the buff is determined by the SEI value of the targetted area and recalculated every turn. SEI Level = 0: Two positive subranks to all stats. SEI Level = 1: Two positive subranks to LCK, STR and MGE, one positive subrank to all other stats. This prevents them from using any Projectile attacks of rank D or lower in this turn. -Galestorm may be used at Reactionary speed. -When active with Eveline’s Vortex Wheel, the effects can be synchronised to additionally reduce damage from Projectile attacks of rank C and higher used by the same target by 30%. This effect only benefits Amaterasu. ---Veil of Mist Rank: B+ Type: Magical Speed: Support Cost: 20 Mana, 28 IP Requirements: 1 Turn Cooldown Properties: Celestial Brush Targets: Self Description: With the power of her Celestial Brush, Amaterasu can summon a thick layer of mist around the battlefield. However, this barrier of fog does not obscure sight, but is far more mystical in nature, as it slows down time around Amaterasu. For a few critical seconds, she is the only one capable of moving at normal speed, which effectively grants her 1 additional AP. -Amaterasu immediately gains 1 AP, usable only on the present turn. -Decreases Amaterasu’s AGI by a full rank until the end of the turn. ---String of Beads Rank: A+++ Type: Magical Speed: Support Cost: 125 Mana, 1 SP Duration: 1 Turn Requirements: 7 Turn Cooldown Properties: Divine, Summoning, Equipment Targets: Self Description: What looks like a simple prayer necklace is actually an incredibly powerful artifact, comparable to the Noble Phantasms wielded by other Servants. However, in this bizarre plane between life and death, the connection to the millions of Shinto gods that grant the String of Beads its power has been severed. Instead, it now resonates with the souls of the dead, calling upon the restless spirits to receive their blessing and bestow it upon its wielder. -The damage of Amaterasu’s attacks is increased, all damage dealt to her is reduced and the Ink cost of her abilities is lowered, the individual values depending on the SEI of her current location. When equipped, those powerful tools appear to float on Amaterasu’s back. They are divided in 3 categories, all of which offer 2 different weapons to choose from. Reflectors are disk-like tools that can be used as a potent slashing weapon or a shield. Rosaries are strings of prayer beads that function as both a whip and projectiles. Glaives are enormous swords that may be charged up for a devastating effect. -Amaterasu can change her equipment as a Support Action at a cost of 1.5 AP per switched weapon. -Amaterasu has to pick a main weapon and a sub weapon from the ones listed below. It’s possible to choose two weapons of the same kind. Main Weapons: Solar Flare: Covered in sacred flames, this is the most powerful Reflector and proof of Amaterasu’s mastery of the Celestial Brush. Allows usage of Five Winds and Inferno. Tundra Beads: This chain of blue magatama, bound together by a spiral of icy wind, is the supreme Rosary of Amaterasu’s collection. Unprotected foes are especially vulnerable to the divine blaze she unleashes. Anti-Personnel: Opponents without any kind of special protection that fail the saving throw suffer additional magical damage ---Spirit Armageddon Rank: B Type: Non-Magical Speed: Offensive, Non-Delayable Cost: 26 Mana, 2 AP Requirements: Amaterasu has Ink remaining, Tundra Beads are equipped Damage: 8 x 3 Physical Properties: Divine, Ranged, Bleeding 2 (END + LCK < 6) Targets: 1-3 Perception Difficulty: 2 Description: Amaterasu uses her Rosary as a whip, striking in a wide arc and flaying all opponents in front of her. The sharp beads cut through the skins like dozens of tiny knives. Bleeding: Opponents that fail the saving throw will lose 2% of their maximum health at the Upkeep of the next turn. This number is cut in half (rounded down) during every consecutive upkeep phase. The Bleeding effect can stack. ---Four Shears Rank: B++ Type: Non-Magical Speed: Offensive, Non-Delayable Cost: 48 Mana, 2 AP Requirements: Amaterasu has Ink remaining, Thunder Edge is equipped Damage: 4 x (4 + 2X Physical) Properties: Divine, Melee, Chargeable, Armor Breaking [Physical/Magical] (AGI + LCK < 2 + X) Targets: 1 Perception Difficulty: 2 Description: Amaterasu cleaves into her foe with a devastating combo attack. She can even charge the Glaive, filling it up with divine energy to wreak even more destruction. -Four Shears may be charged by lowering Amaterasu’s AGI by X full ranks. Her AGI cannot be lowered by more than 3 ranks this way, even if Four Shears is used multiple times. For example, it is possible to use a fully charged Four Shears and an uncharged one, but it is NOT possible to use Four Shears twice with two charges each. -The AGI reduction is effective until end of turn. Armor-Breaking: Opponents that fail the saving throws will have all special defenses on them destroyed. ---Reflection Rank: C+ Type: Non-Magical Speed: Reactionary Cost: 28 Mana, 1 SP Requirements: Amaterasu has Ink remaining, Divine Retribution is equipped Properties: Divine, Protection Targets: Self Description: Amaterasu uses her Reflector to protect herself against an incoming attack. A basic form of defense, but enhanced by the celestial properties of Divine Retribution. The next attack that hits Amaterasu has its full damage reduced by 40%, including attacks with multiple hits. ---Rosary Shot Rank: D+ Type: Non-Magical Speed: Offensive Cost: 1 SP, 10 + 3X Mana (X <= 15) Requirements: Amaterasu has ink remaining, Devout Beads are equipped Damage: X * 1 Physical (X hits), MGE vs END Properties: Divine, Projectile, Ranged, Weakening X (END + LCK < 5.5) Targets: 1 Perception Difficulty: 2 Description: Amterasu rapidly fires the beads of her Rosary at her target, showering them in a hail of hallowed bullets. Every hit inflicts a tiny wound upon her foe, making them more susceptible to further attacks. Weakening X: Opponents that fail the saving throw will take X% more damage from all further attacks this turn. Should some beads somehow fail to strike their target, the factor of Weakening will be equal to the amount of actual hits received. ---Spread Strike Rank: C Type: Non-Magical Speed: Offensive Cost: 15 Mana, 1 SP Requirements: Amaterasu has Ink remaining, Tsumugari is equipped Damage: 6 + 2X Physical Properties: Divine, Melee, Chargeable Targets: 1-3 Perception Difficulty: 2 Description: -Spread Strike may be charged in a similar fashion to Four Shears, by lowering Amaterasu’s AGI by X full ranks. Like a flaming serpent, it shoots through the air, drawing a glowing arc as it goes down on its target. Amaterasu’s foe is consumed by the flames, their entire body covered in a wall of fire. ---Blizzard Rank: A Type: Magical Speed: Offensive, Non-Delayable Cost: 30 Mana, 22 IP, 2 AP Requirements: Tundra Beads are equipped Damage: 18 Magical Properties: Celestial Brush, Ice Elemental, Ranged, Area Effect, Freezing 1 (END + LCK < 4.5) Targets: All unprotected players in the area, excluding Team Rider Perception Difficulty: 3 Description: With the power of the Tundra Beads and her Celestial Brush, Amaterasu can turn her current location into a frigid hell. In a single moment, both the temperature and the air pressure around Amaterasu drops significantly, summoning a fierce hailstorm. A painful wave of cold rolls over the area, freezing all players in the vicinity as they are tortured by a rain of ice. -Protected Masters are still hit for 6 Magical damage, as well as the Freezing affliction if they fail their save. ---Thunderstorm Rank: A Type: Magical Speed: Offensive, Non-Delayable Cost: 65 Mana, 20 IP, 2 AP Requirements: Thunder Edge is equipped Damage: 23 Magical Properties: Celestial Brush, Lightning Elemental, Ranged, Shocking 1 (STR + LCK < 5) Targets: 1 -> 1 Team Perception Difficulty: 3 Description: The Thunder Edge Amaterasu wields constantly crackles with electrical energy, and with her divine powers, she can draw it out and direct it at her foes. A bolt of lightning emerges from the tip of the Glaive, then strikes the unsuspecting target with lethal force. Anyone standing too close to the pitiable victim is also struck, as the electrical current lashes out and shocks even otherwise well-protected fighters. -Only the main target of Thunderstorm takes the full damage. All present teammates of the main target are also struck, but damage dealt to them is reduced by 50%. Command Spells: ---”Purify this place!” For the remainder of the turn, Amaterasu creates an incredibly powerful spirit-sealing barrier around the current location. The area is treated as having an SEI of 0 with respect to all abilities and effects. This Command Spell has no effect on the actual SEI or its growth. ---”Unleash your powers!” Amaterasu uses String of Beads, with the value of SEI treated as 300. If the Cooldown is not active, String of Beads is used for free in this manner. Otherwise, the full cost must be paid. |
