Got a question for the GMs. Based on my very limited experience with these wars, the public update seems to follow Team Saber. Are the public updates going to focus on us? I ask because I'd like to plan strategies ahead of time, and it'd be a tad more difficult if our information was given out to everybody. |

No, focus characters are very rare, only being used in War 1 (lol) and War 11. The inclusion of a focus character in 11 was...well, a novel idea, but lead to much more imbalance in actuality. I admit it was an early idea to have a focus character, but yeah, scrapped due to that generally. In any case, updates will entail fights foremost (including simultaneous battles if they arise) and then relatively in depth civilian muggings/consumptions. If there is a battle, no muggings/consumptions of civilians will be noted. If neither a battle nor civilian interaction arises, then filler occurs. Edit: fuck you touphi my answer is better. It's fine, I normally ask alot of questions alot too... (>_>) Here's an example: No battles occur, however Saber consumes a civilian. The update would give away Saber's master (he's the only black guy >_>) however the only details on Saber herself will be a vague description (late teenager in battle armor with pink hair with a sheathed sword). Saber may or may not be refered to as 'Saber' in the update, however, she will be talking along with Malik. At least this is how *I* would do a civilian consumption. However, Touphi is doing the public updates, so I can't say for certain. Also...alliances will NOT be narrated unless hostilities occur, or if an alliance is made while a party consumes a civilian and an alliance offer is extended on both parts. For instance, Team Asshole attacks Team Saber. However, Team Buttmunch is there too. Saber offers alliances to Team Asshole and Team Buttmunch. Team Asshole goes ahead attacks them, but Team Buttmunch accepts the alliance. Alternatively, you can read like Night....13 of War 8. Ryo fucked up my secret alliance by consuming >_> Edit: Lastly, once the war progresses and identities are revealed, more information will be revealed, instead of being so secretive. I'm a little confused about the Ikebukuro station. Can we move there, then move to an adjacent area on the map? If we start at the Station, can we move to an adjacent area, then another adjacent area? |

Each player has a movement stat on their sheet. For example, Saber has Movement: 2 (+1). Saber can move a maximum of 2 spaces since she has a maximum of 2 movements points, and recovers 1 movement point at the end of each turn. At the station, Saber can move say 3 spaces while only paying 2 movement points, move 2 spaces while paying only 1 movement point etc. Edited by Ryo, Aug 28 2010, 10:06 PM.

Would it be fair for me to ask about the move stat? Some servants have a higher move stat than others, right? If so, I assume Rider, Lancer and possible Assassin have high movement. Also I can guess that their home base isn't near the Ikebukuro station due to balancing issues. |

Is there a limit to how many Earthly Spirits we can have out? This is assuming we have the mana to pay for them. My thoughts on the Form Change: Sword form is alright, but we might want to change early on in order to confuse people. Come on, how many pink characters with swords are out there? Snake form is for AoE, and I hope we will never be in the position where we would consider using this. Bow form seems alright, and I'm considering arguing going straight to this form for the lolz. Gravy has been generous enough to joke around with me about being Archer, though this could bite us in the ass some time in the future. One thing for certain; we do not want to change forms in front of someone until Signum's name/class identity gets out. Also, going back to our talk about tactics, I don't see a point (after seeing our sheets) in consuming civilians right away instead of mugging them. I think gravy mentioned something about revealing alliances and such, and attracting potential alliance members is the point of making a scene so early. Edited by Super Archer, Sep 4 2010, 01:18 AM.

Anyways, probably changes to Saber's sheet, probably for the better. Our lord and savior decided to lend a helping hand. Or something like that... Anyways, yeah. It's essentially finalized I'd say but values will be changed I assume... dunno. She was a late change to our previous Saber. And...well, we changed Saber's about 5 times previously before that.... |

been thinking about this...civilian consumption keeps sounding more and more unreliable boct, if you still want to find another team asap, then we should go to one of two locations, depending on where we start Ikebukuro Station and Sunshine 60 With the Station, we'd be able to travel pretty much anywhere on the map if we wanted. Sunshine lets us peek at what's around us. Like I mentioned earlier, we wont be the only ones to think of this. Also, about the Earthly Spirit familiar thing. It would be interesting to make one or two of them, and just leave them somewhere around the map. They will then act kind of like a sentry. >_>; Edited by Super Archer, Sep 4 2010, 07:26 PM.

Consumption is most compromising at the beginning of the war if you're really attempting to keep your identity secret. Problem is, identities are guessed eventually anyways...unless you're like...Rider from 8, who went 20+ days unidentified. >_> |

I wonder who the culprit is. If it is us, then lolz. Anyway, I plan on using the map to keep tabs on where teams are. Red is for locations where I know someone is, Blue is for theories and shit. Anyway, enjoy my John Madden trickery. ![]() We are lucky enough to start off at the Police Station. Plan 1: ![]() Switch to Bow form immediately, then go to Sunshine 60. Once we get there, we will have Malik summon his Earthly Spirit thing. Plan 2: ![]() Switch to Bow form immediately, stay put at Police Station. Have Malik summon a Spirit, which will move to the Sunshine 60 next turn.
