I'd have to be sorry, lovely Inversion. I dislike extreeemmmeeely to view two different pages while making my moves. So out of pure hedonistic desires, I'll include the map here~ Hope that will be alright~ Kihihi Varakanok's handy edited map of handiness: http://i742.photobucket.com/albums/xx66/Varakanok/War9Labeled.jpg?t=1271524223 Original confusing map of confusion: http://z3.ifrm.com/431/42/0/p285722/WarMap.jpg Areas: Location 1: The Tohno Estate - The mansion where Tohno Akiha resides in. Strictly a non-hostile zone, but there is a 2-turn limit in being able to stay here. If you don't move away on your 2nd turn, you'll be teleported to the Observatory. Inside, you can trade information or services. If you don't exchange any information on any turn in staying here, Akiha might just get bored of you and order Kohaku to drug you and carry you and your servant off somewhere random. Location 2: Starlight Crossing - Desolate area where Len roams. Strictly a non-hostile zone, but there is a 2-turn limit in being able to stay here. If you don't move away on your 2nd turn, you'll be teleported to the Observatory. Inside, you can trade information and services. If you don't exchange any information at any turn in staying here, Len will use her succubus powers and chase you out of the area. Location 3: Curry Shop - Random apartment where Ciel resides. Strictly a non-hostile zone, but there is a 2-turn limit in being able to stay here. If you don't move away on your 2nd turn, you'll be teleported to the Observatory. Inside, you can trade information and services. If you don't exchange any information at any turn in staying here, Ceil might just get pissed at you and throw you and your servant to somewhere random on the map. And don't even think about eating any of her curry. Location 4: Millennium Castle Brunestud - Grand Castle where Archetype-Earth resides. Be careful of Satsujinki. Strictly a non-hostile zone, but there is a 2-turn limit in being able to stay here. If you don't move away on your 2nd turn, you'll be teleported to the Observatory. Inside, you can trade information and services. If you don't exchange any information at any turn in staying here, The Shinso might just get tired of you and force you and your servant to somewhere random on the map. Location 5: Pokemon Center - Doubles health regeneration at the cost of completely nullifying mana regeneration. How does it work? Basically, we suck your servant into this red and white ball of technology, place them at this tray-thingy and watch the magic. Location 6: Darker than Black Observatory - THE HIGHEST POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOINT in the map. Yes. Very high indeed... All servant/masters' sight range (their ability to detect nearby servants/masters) will increase from just 1 to a whopping 3. Location 7: Cosplay Cafe - Conceal your presence at the cost of paying 150 mana! But in this case, you CAN MOVE WITH YOUR PRESENCE CONCEALED... for only two turns... Location 8: Baccano Line - The first train station. Be careful of THE RAIL TRACER. If anybody enters this location and uses the train, the one can travel ANYWHERE so long as it is within the areas reachable by the blue line. Location 9: Arcade - Lots of games and food here. Be careful not to beat the noob Melty Blood players too much or they may commit suicide. Location 10: TYPE-MOON headquarters - Get free autographs! Too bad the Big Man is on vacation... Location 11: Valkyria Camp - Raising an army here! Raising an army now consumes FOUR actions, meaning that a single person can raise an army after four turns or a pair can raise one for two turns. Armies have 20 health and 10 mana. Go figure. Location 12: Hakurei Shrine - Presence Concealment here... for a price of 75 mana... Blame the girl who does service here. Really... Location 13: Business District - If you look listen closely, you might just hear people in karaokes... Location 14: Church of Imminent Death - Safe zone every five turns. Ryougi Shiki randomly makes visits here at those turns, so be wary of making any aggressive moves when you're with her... Location 15: Shopping Mall - You can get ANYTHING here... This is probably the best place to shop 'til you drop... Reduce all mana requirements from skills by half. Location 16: Baccano Line - Same as above. Really, now... Location 17: Theme Park - Using this park's primitive super-advanced, very complicated human-powered catapult, you can teleport be launched to any area you choose as a normal action by consuming a low low price of 50 health! Location 18: Gekkoukan High School - You gain DOUBLE THE HEALTH BENEFITS when consuming civilians! Location 19: Seinagi High School - You gain DOUBLE THE MANA BENEFITS when consuming civilians! Location 20: Rathty's Smithing/Pottery - You can go fight here and use Rathty the mine elf's handmade pots weapons to boost your awesomeness! All offensive skills performed here do 20% more damage. Location 21: Enka Inn - Come and stay the night! Take a nice relaxing bath in the mini-onsen. Our rooms are nice and private, so feel free to do whatever you want. Aside from comfortable beds, there's really no effect. Location 22: K-ON Concert Grounds - There's really only a few people with talent here. It's mostly high school girls having slice-of-life style fun. Not really any effect besides the light music. Location 23: Ortensia Broadcasting - You can broadcast any messages here for FREE. It will be mentioned in the update. Feel free to say anything ridiculous. However, bear in mind that if you DO enter here, you MUST make a broadcast or else Ms. Caren might just get pissed at you and kick your shin, claiming 25 health. |

General Thoughts and Comments. My move will be bolded. For now, let me explain to my new partner, my plan. We are going to go to the BroadCast station and send out a message. The following turn we will head to the shrine, pay 75 mana, and go under presence concealment. There might be many people curious as to who broadcasted the message, and by going to the safe location, we will be safe. The immediate effect of the broadcast is to put Saber's team under suspicion, making them the target to anger and other's teams judgements. Mecasonic, when you wish to contact me, I will be available on AIM at Syedur92, or else you can just comment here. We can discuss and improvise this plan as you'd like. Head over to the Ortensia Broadcasting. There broadcast this: "Good evening. Do not be alarmed--I am Jeremiah Gottwald , a Rider-class servant not of this war but one previous. I have come to bring something to your attention." "Isn't it ironic that there are mediators for a war as brutal as this? The True Ancestor, the Succubus, the Executor of the Church and the Head of the Tonho family hold a terrible secret. They are Servants-- victors of a Holy Grail War. I am unsure about their class, but their power surpassess even the King of Heroes and the King of Knights. They are fighting each other only to deceive you and prevent you from finding the truth." "The Holy Grail works in mysterious ways and there may even be many different grails. However, we know for a fact that the Holy Grail you are fighting for right now is an beyond your grasp. You nor any master or servant will be able to obtain it in this current state. It now belongs only to the fake moderators. It is with their Grail that this war was started. “ "However, there are limits to their abilities and the Grail's power. The Grail's infinite power can only be obtained by harvesting the spirits of fallen servants. For this reason, they have allowed these wars to take place. You must know that to obtain powerful magic, one must be prepared to take risks. There is a chance that they might be defeated in one of these wars. A zero in their roulette. " "Although they are very powerful, it is doubtful that they can fight many heroic spirits at the same time. There is even a chance that a servant even stronger than them can be summoned. This is why they are always watching at their own bases as servants and masters kill themselves off with them under the guise of the hosts. Even if there's one servant left, he or she will not be able to obtain the Holy Grail without first defeating its current holders. Is one servant even capable of such a feat?" "Please. I ask all of you participating in this war to hold a temporary ceasefire. Help us defeat them. The Servant of the Saber class and his master have already agreed to give their full support to this cause, but we aren't strong enough to stand a chance for the time being. If you were loyal to your ideals, and not just your ambition, you would see that this is the correct action. Let us be the zero in their roulette wheel." Before this, our incestual Lancers should talk to each other, activating the bonding support skill. In the case of attack, activate pierce and do a basic pierce on the hostile enemy. Abigail is to use Scorched Earth. In the case of an encounter, do nothing at all except the talking support skill. Edited by Randerith, May 22 2010, 09:01 PM.

So far, everything is going according to plan. The third variable of there being another team was accounted for so it didn't surprise me much. This will be where I explain my plan. We will head over to the shrine, pay 75 mana, then undergo Presence Concealment. This will be the safest option by far. We will do this to keep under the radar of the other teams. And since we have confirmed by Gravy's bashful reds, there shouldn't be a team remaining at the broadcasting station. As you can figure, there are several things to do when taking this step. We must first account that there might be a team looking for trouble and after the so called three man team. Contact me on AIM, Meca, if we need to discuss the details of this plan. Since the war has just started, and no team has revealed itself currently, it wouldn't be of our best interest to reveal ourself until we formulate how the current teams are standing and what we can do to enhance our position in the war from those current team statuses. It would be disagreeable to create a plan without knowing our position in the game. That is something I title, the Fool's Proof. I will not play like Randy. This is war. ----- EDIT: Damnit, these story updates contain information that should be in the status update. The team that had contacted us decidedly wants ally with us at the SHRINE. We want to avoid allies as much as we can for the first few days of the war until after the first battle. We cannot go to the Shrine anymore. ----- Head to Starlight Crossing. There, use support skill to increase stats for our twins. ----- Meca, contact me on AIM when you can. We need to discuss this before this move become finalized. Summary -met no one at the Starlight IGM place. That is good. -lv 2 bonding effect enabled. For now, let us head to Enka Inn. It is close to the teleport site, so it would be a good strategical area. Go to the business district. If hostile enemies are present, then do not bond. Instead do basic pierce and I am to do Scorch Earth. If no hostile enemies, then bond. And Meca, I have a strategy that I'm thinking about and I need your input in it. I was thinking maybe after the third lv status bond effect is complete, we might want to separate the twins, have one undergo presence concealment and the other accompanies me everywhere. But this plan is till iffy. |

Guess I'll post our move since Randerith hasn't posted it yet... Go to the Tohno Estate. If hostile enemies are present, then do not bond. Instead, flee to the Theme Park. If no hostile enemies, then bond. In the case we are attacked before we move, we will flee to the North Baccano Line. Edited by Mecasonic, May 27 2010, 03:50 AM.

That is fine. I had surprisingly fallen asleep early yesterday. And I'd like to make an edit though. The reason why the Tohno Estate wouldn't be worth going to is because we can now skirmish there. Inversion made that rule update. But we'll go there anyway. In the case where the other team would attack if the alliance were not to be accepted, then accept the alliance to avoid conflict. This is for Rider. Edited by Randerith, May 27 2010, 06:26 AM.

Thoughts and Ideas: (Meca, give me feedback where needed.) For tonight, we will head over to the Church of Imminent Death. Next turn will be the fifth night, and as it says in the description of maps, it should be a safe zone for that turn only! Well, every five nights at least. And Gravy already announced that he will be going to Enka Inn in case we create an alliance. Although that doesn’t mean much, we can safely assume he is either nearby, or near one of the Bacanno Lines. What we want to do is travel with Rider for the time being. They will be a great asset to our guerilla warfare tactic. We will be using that skill once the first fight breaks out between two unrelated teams. Not only will we be safe doing that, we will also gain an ‘encounter’ that we need to activate our noble phantasms. As soon as the first fight breaks up, we will separate the twins to do scouting and guerilla warfare each. It completes the task of ‘uncovering the map’ as I like to call it. Tonight’s moves: Head over to the Church of Imminent Death from Tohno Estate, crossing over Gekkoukan High School. ACTIVATE STEALTH MOVEMENT. If crossing and encountering another team, ignore. If crossing and encountering another team that happens to be hostile, then flee to Church of Imminent Death. If sighting ignore. If sighting and encountering another team that happens to be hostile, then flee to the Church of Imminent Death. Do not retaliate if any one attacks us in the Church of Imminent Death. It is turn five, so the safe zone should be activated. If someone does attack us, let them face Ryougi’s wrath. Activate the active passive skill Territory Resistance for my servant. It costs 20 mana upkeep but it is well worth it. Since my regen is +30, I’ll regain more than I spend. And it is good on surprise attacks. Ignore any alliances offered. Plans for tonight. My plan is to head over to the Seinagi High School. It is pretty much in the center of things, and the following turn, we can easily send one twin to the shrine and do presence concealment, while the other follows me. We can also set it up strategically to flank and do other sort of skills as well. I'm expecting Rider to back us up, so we will back up Rider if they get sighted while crossing. We shouldn't be sighted at all since our agility and luck are pretty high. Tonight's Move: We will move to Seinagi High School under stealth mode. While crossing, and a team spots us and engage in battle with us, then utilize Brave Sword/Brave Lance and I am to Scorch the Earth. While crossing, and a team spots Team Rider and engages with them, stop our actions, and utilize Brave Sword/Brave Lance and I am to Scorch the Earth and attack the hostile team. Once arriving and meeting a hostile team, do the above. Once arriving and meeting a non hostile team, do nothing. Engage == Attack Edited by Randerith, May 29 2010, 05:30 AM.

Tonight's Move: Accept Berserker's alliance. Just until we kill another team. Specifically Saber and Caster. Follow Rider. If that does not fulfill the requirements to accompany an ally, then go to the imminent church. It does not matter which area we cross but if you want specifics, I guess Pokemon Center. While crossing, use stealth mode. While crossing, and a team spots us and engage in battle with us, then utilize Brave Sword/Brave Lance and I am to Scorch the Earth on the hostile team (not ally) While crossing, and a team spots Team Rider and engages with them or vice versa, stop our actions, and utilize Brave Sword/Brave and scorch the earth on the hostile team (not ally). In the case of an attack from a hostile team, utilize Brave Sword/Brave and scorch the earth on the hostile team. |

Plan -Lancers have a skill to automatically ambush without retaliation given certain conditions are fulfilled. -The main reason why I will delay arriving at the battle scene is to prevent Saber and Caster from escaping from a three vs two fight. They will assume it is two vs two which should greatly reduce the chance of escape. -I the master will be accompanying everyone to do a skill. This skill takes two turns but once activated, the enemy teams cannot escape the area. -The Lancers will arrive on the second turn and from hence forth, the fight will presume on a three vs two. -Escape isn’t possible by normal means. Only through a skill or a command spell shall escape be possible. However, even if they do that, the masters are trapped either way. Day One: Lancer’s Master, Rider’s Team, and Bersker’s Team will arrive at the shopping mall and attack Saber and Caster. Day Two: Lancer’s master will activate a trap skill to block all exits from area. Then Lancer will arrive via Ambush and do significant damage. Day Three: It is a three vs two and the advantage is to our side. Meca, if you have a suggestion or an alternate plan, feel free to let me know. This isn't a final decision, but this will give us the momentum to win. Saber and Caster would probably escape the first turn after finding three teams fighting them, so by blocking all exits and allowing the Lancers to ambush them the second turn, they will have no choice but to fight a three vs two. Tonight's Move: Separate Eirika and Ephraim. Eirika will head over to the arcade. And Ephraim will head over to the Enka Inn. Stealth mode all the way. I will head over to the arcade. I am to use stealth mode. Use Torrential Storm on the area if hostile enemy is present. In the case of attack on Ephriam, use Together, We Ride! We are forced to only use Basic Pierce so I'll leave it at that. In the case of attack at the Arcade, stop Ephriam from moving away, and have both siblings fight. Use Brave Sword/Brave Lance. In the case that both siblings become engaged by separate enemies, then use the command spell "Come to me"! In the case where Rider and/or Berserker decides to attack me, the master, use "Come to Me" command spell or w/e the command spell is called. Edited by Randerith, May 31 2010, 01:09 PM.

Tonight's Move: Attempt to break up the fight with Assassin. Unless they fight back, we will not fight them. Look at the conditionals below for details. In the case of multiple hostile enemy attack or if no allies show and we are only fighting Assassin, Eirika and Ephraim are to split. Eirika and I will flee to the Theme Park. Meanwhile, Ephraim is to use Guerilla Warfare and attack a different hostile enemy apart from Assassin or Assassin himself if he is the only one available and immediately move to the Theme Park. In the case where multiple hostile enemies attack us, then use command spell "Survive at All Costs," and flee to the theme park. Attack Conditional: In the case of Rider assisting or Berserker assisting taking down Assassin, attack Assassin with Brave Sword/Lance and I will use Scorch Earth which should automatically activate Steam. In the case where Caster, Saber, or another team join in the fray and are hostile against our team, and Asssassin seems to be willing to accept an alliance with us, then attack Caster (or another hostile team if Caster doesn't show) with Brave Sword/Lance only if Assassin, Berserker, and/or Rider show up to help. Two of the three teams listed before. If not, do the same fleeing action as conditional one. In the case where no one assists, do the same as conditional one. In the case where Berserker and Rider come to assist me, and Saber and Caster show up (only them, if more then refer to conditional one), then assist them in taking Caster down by doing the attack conditional above. Tonight’s Move: Teleport to the Starlight Crossing. Abigail will pay for the health cost. In the case of meeting a hostile enemy, activate pierce, and use Broad sword/Lance after Abigail does Torrential Storm. AKA delay the attack till Abigail activates her Torrential Storm. Also activate Territory Resistance. In the case of not meeting anyone, do nothing. In case of meeting a non hostile team, move to the TYPE Moon head quarters.. In case of meeting Rider's team, stay there. Don't move in that case. |

Plans: Sorry I haven't been able to fully explicate my thoughts. These past several days have been rough on me. Well, I've found out recently that without the CS we used, we probably would've died the last encounter. It was a good thing I've put that in our conditionals. And now we can use our NP which is a stupendous plus. I think heading to the Valkyria Camp and creating an army would help better our chances at fleeing. And we want to flee from enemies for obvious reasons. I'll put in the conditional for a command spell JUST in case multiple hostile teams show up. Which I doubt. But you'll never know. EDIT: Oh, crap. I formulated the best idea ever. It involves us crossing and avoiding hostile enemies all together. Head to the Valkyria Camp. If we do not encounter anyone, then start to create an army with both the master and servant. This way, we can have our army up and running in two days/nights. If we encounter a hostile team at said location, then flee to the Type Moon Headquarters. If we 'spot/sight' multiple hostile teams or just one hostile team at said location, then go back to the Starlight Crossing. Since we have four movement actions, this should be alright. And we are doing this under stealth mode. So they can't do anything to us. If we encounter a non hostile team at said location and it is Archer's Team, offer alliance and continue with army creation (both master and servant). If Rider, continue with Army creation. If any other non hostile team, then go under stealth mode and cross back to Starlight Crossing. So we avoid them at all costs. Edited by Randerith, Jun 3 2010, 06:37 PM.

Tonight's Move: Upon attack on either Rider or me, do the following: Activate territory resistance, Torrential Storm. Activate noble phantasm, Great Lord Promotion support skill, and delay Brave Sword/Lance with Personal Skill Pierce activated as well. So Torrential Storm should be activated before I attack so the agility effect comes into play. |
