Description:
Raquel Applegate is simply a "Mighty Glacier". She is ridiculously slow yet she hits RIDICULOUSLY HARD. She focuses on both her offensive and defensive traits with two broadswords that amplify one trait as Noble Phantasms. In addition to her high damage output, she also has the ability to parry skills completely while dealing a fixed percentage of it back to the opponent. Built like a tank and handled like a tank, Raquel Applegate's hard hitting attacks and heavy defense is comparable to that of even a Berserker. The greatest skills on her arsenal are Intrude; skill that lets her perform more skills in one turn without a detrimental loss in Potential and Finest Art; the hardest hitting, non-fatal skill made.

Class Skills:
- Magic Resistance: C - Further reduces the damage taken from C-ranked spells or below by 20%

Personal Skills:
- Instinct: B - Resist debuffs that lower the strength parameter if the skill rank used is B or below. Makes it impossible for her to miss, but also makes it impossible for her to dodge.
- Penetrator: A++ - Penetrates the opponent's endurance when using the "Basic Slash" skill if their endurance is rank C or below.
- Red Zone: A (20% of remaining mana) - Capable of immediately executing an action when Raquel's health drops below 30%. This bypasses her turn action orders and immediately sets her up to act. This also effectively gives her another action opportunity if ever she has already made an action on that turn. Will still follow Overthrust, though.
- Overthrust: A+ - Increases the strength of her physical attacks by 50% (applied after all initial calculations) every two turns and can only perform offensive actions, but she will take 20% more damage. However, during the turns where Overthrust isn't active, she cannot perform any offensive actions, but her Endurance will be raised by one plus and her magical resistance will be increased by 20%. Whenever her health is reduced by an interval of 75 or more she receives a tension point. For every tension point she has, increase her physical damage by 2 points of endurance-penetrating damage. Repeated hits from a single skill increase Tension Points by only one. The player may choose to enter battle in defensive or offensive phase of Overthrust through a conditional.
- Blood Poison: E - Raquel's blood has a natural poison in it that slowly kills her. Raquel takes 10 END-piercing damage every three turns during the escape phase.

Effect: Increases the number of available actions by Raquel by one. This does not consume an action, but is done during the support phase
Update Animation Upon Use: Burst of light from the ground around Raquel. Telltale announcement also comes with the package.

Effect: 110 damage. Debilitate by two ranks for three turns. Prevents enemy escape for the turn after the next turn.
Update Animation Upon Use: Handle extension. Raquel jumps and hits the ground below the opponent, causing stone spikes to rise from the ground. She then delivers a side blow to the rocks as well as the target.
- Name: Exorcism (B+)
Mana Cost: 55
Range: 1
Maximum Target: 100
Class: Physical
Effect: 60 damage to all enemy servants and possibly masters if their servants are not with them. Deal additional 40 damage to summoned entities such as mounts, Dark Servants, etc.
Update Animation Upon Use: Handle extension. Cleaves in a large arc, creating a slicing hurricane for a short moment.

Effect: Regenerate 110 mana. Additional 10 mana recovered per tension point. Cannot be used more than once per turn

Noble Phantasms:
Condition: When Saber's health goes below 200, activate only ONE of the following. You can change between broadswords during rest periods.

Effect: Decrease all of Raquel's mana/health cost on her skills (Does not affect Basic Slash) by 50%, but decrease their damage output by 50% as well (does not affect Tension Point increases)(Does not affect Moonlight's mana regeneration). Enables her to use Intrude for up to four times a turn. Gain the skills "Blocking" and "Retaliator".
- Name: Blocking (B)
Mana Cost: 10/30/50 (Mana cost is not affected by Macha Brand)
Range: 1
Maximum Target: 1
Class: Defensive
Effect: Whenever an enemy attempts to deal a physical attack at Raquel, if the skill used to attack her is ranked D or below, then reduce the damage by 50% with 10 mana; 30 mana for C-ranked skills; and 50 mana for B-ranked skills. Blocked attacks do not give tension points. Always active during defensive Overthrust mode. Optional during offensive mode. Cannot be used against Noble Phantasms.
Update Animation Upon Use: Upon enemy attack, upwards slash to parry the opponent.

Effect: Whenever Blocking activates, Raquel will retaliate against that enemy by dealing 90% of the damage she nullified back to him/her (not affected by Macha Brand damage decrease). Always active.

Effect: Increase all physical damage Raquel deals by 10% by sacrificing more of her mobility and some of her endurance. Limp herself by one rank and Debilitates herself by two ranks (to C+). She gains the skill "Dragon Edge" and "Poison Fang"

Mana Cost: 70

Class: Physical
Effect: 60 damage. Heal herself equal to 50% of the amount dealt.
Update Animation Upon Use: Summons the power of the very land she stands on and deals a jumping overhead slash attack on the opponent's standing ground, making it collapse.

Effect: Poisons the target for 5 turns. Deal 40 damage.

Effect: Auto-activate once Raquel's health falls to or below 15%. Enables the use of Finest Arts.
- Name: Finest Art (EX)
Mana Cost: All Tension Points + 150 mana

Effect: Deal massive damage to a target Servant. Takes away 95% of their current remaining life. Will instantly kill an opponent with equal to or less than 75 remaining life before this skill was used. Cripple, enfeeble and limp the target for ranks dependent on how many tension points are used for five turns. The target will also suffer external bleeding after disengaging for a number of turns dependent on how many tension points are used. The damage dealt is cannot be influenced by ANYTHING, including the enemy's endurance and Raquel's strength rating. Can be used on the same turn when Red Zone is triggered, even if Overthrust is in defensive mode.

Alright. just a few things.

.:Phantasms:.
- Poison fang isn't listed under either Macha Brace, or Judgement Scepter usability. Is this always usable, or is it too unique to Judgement Scepter

-Saber starts with none of those broadswords granting extra abilities.
-If she does, they can only be changed at the health threshold.

-Sheriff's Star may be active at the same time as Macha Brand OR Judgement Scepter, as long as the health requirement is met.

Macha Brand
-Blocking. This skill is completely ineffective against ALL phantasms, and anything A rank and above

-Using 5 Intrudes. Doing so stacks the Intrude effect, making the cost be 5 Tension Points, 75 health, 62.5 mana, and a potential cost of ... .5 x .5 x .5 x .5 x .5... or roughly 0.03 potential cost. (Now, This is probably bad math, but it's just the sense i got from this.

.:Overthrust:.
-is always active.

-We have to enter Offensive state in order to use our fighting abilities, but the 50% damage boost is activated by our choice.

-When the damage boost runs out, we're forced to defensive state

-Defensive state lasts as long as we want, and to switch over is a Free Action.

-This means we can only attack every 2 turns, and the turns we do, we're more vulnerable by a little bit.

Read Judgment Scepter again. It says it enables Poison Fang as well.

Yes, she starts with none, but will always have one of them as long as her health is within the threshold. And they can only be interchanged when she is not engaged (rest periods).

Sheriff's Star can be activated along with any of the two broadswords as long as the health requirement is met.

Yes, blocking is useless against those.

In that sense, yes. Potential decrease will only be 3%. But Intrude also affects itself, meaning that if you cast intrude again right after the first, Intrude's potential cost will be 13 but still consume 25 mana. It's much better if you Intrude + Normal + Normal + Intrude if you have enough mana (surmising that you have enough mana in the first place). This may still be changed after playtesting though.

Overthrust is always active.

You can't choose having the 50% damage boost. You ALWAYS have it whenever you're in offensive mode.

Basically, your turns are enter battle in offensive > defensive > offensive > defensive > etc...

And yeah, basically.

Woah. I had totally read an invisible third skill in between those... I think sleep is appropriate sometime soon.

Alright that's all good to hear. I wasn't sure if the 3% of potential would be "We only use 3% potential, so we can throw everything we want out there" or "We use 3% less potential, so no big difference". But yeah, I see the logical intrude pattern there.

It gives you yet ANOTHER action.

Like, without intrude, you can only act twice like say Support > Normal or Normal > Normal, etc. But with Intrude you can add another Normal action. (Intrude doesn't count as an action in itself, so you can perform another support right after). You'll get the whole gist when the finalization is done.

Sherrif's Star is auto-activated. Finest Arts consumes just one action, meaning you can Intrude > Any skill > Finest Art

Your Basic Slash > Basic Slash > Intrude > Moonlight > Shockwave won't work unless it's Intrude > Intrude > Intrude > Basic Slash > Basic Slash > Basic Slash > Moonlight > Shockwave (it's Exorcism)

Okay, So Intrude has to be used before taking actions? I can deal with that. I was hoping not, so that Basic slash could be followed by intrude immediately after (Gain a point, spend a point) and make up a little for only 1 turn of attack; but still quite useful

STATSHEET REVISIONS (May still be changed as well. Keep track of this particular post since I'm simply going to edit this for further updates...)

- Saber can now only perform one action, whether support or normal, per turn.
- Edited Tension Point gain mechanic.
- Increased Iron Divide's mana cost
- Decreased Moonlight's mana cost
- Increased Tension Point increase to Moonlight.
- Removed Tension Point requirements for every skill except Intrude and Finest Art
- Finest Art is now affected by defensive skills and Tension Point damage increase
- Exorcism cost increased to 55
- Overthrust damage increase will be reduced to 50%
- Judgment Scepter damage increased will be reduced to just 10%
- Dragon Edge cost increased to 70
- Poison Fang turn counter decreased to 5
- Blocking now only reduces damage by 40%, but mana cost decreased
- Retaliator now deals 80% damage of blocked amount and has a non-existent mana cost
- Finest Art now has a solid mana cost of 150

I think Saber is pretty well rounded; and she should be perfectly fine with what she has. To be honest, I don't think I could handle many more moves.

As for Asagi, more moves wouldn't be a bad thing at all, but she's also looking really good where she is. This is a really good pair.

As for Asagi, I have no idea what to name her new moves. Care to give a reference I could use?

Also, nerfed Saber a bit to consider her sheer firepower

Either some Norse mythology stuff, or just outright German, i suppose. Since she was taught by Hayate, who learned Belkan magic (Which was German, really), it would make sense for the German stuff. Aside from that, Norse stuff is just cool.

Macha Brand/Finest Art

Okay, first off, can Sheriff's star be equiped when Macha Brand/Judgement scepter are?
If so, then macha brand decreases cost and damage of offensive moves.
Finest Art's damage can't be affected by anything, but the mana cost doesn't have this stipulation. So if I can have Macha Brand and Sheriff's Star at the same time (I really hope so), would the cost of Finest Art be reduced to 40% instead of 80%?
