Tired of people pronouncing your character's name wrong? Really happy with your name's pronunciation but having this futile feeling that nobody gets it right? Just plain bored? You're in luck! This is TEH OFFICIALZORZ post [[wait I just ruined it didn't I?]] for NAME PRONUNCIATION. ... zorz. Crap. Yeah. The officialness of this post just flatlined. Note to you guys? Set someone ELSE to do this kinda stuff? I screw it all up. ... ...Okay, so anyway, I -am- one of those nitpicky frustrated people, so.. I'll kick it off. And no, I'm not posting Emin's full name unless someone REALLY wants me to. Emin = Ehm-in not 'ee-min.' Kvarn Sk'Thalen = Kuh-vahrn Skuh'-Tall-in silent 'h.' Not thay or thal, it's tall. Trasic Athae = Traz-ick Ah-tay While the pronunciation of 'Trasic' always ends up with a 'z' sound, let it be known that her nicknames - 'Tras' or 'Trassy' - are indeed said with a 's' sound. As in, 'brass' or 'crass,' and thus 'brassy' or 'crassy.' Whether or not 'brassy' or 'crassy' are words is questionable, but shh, go with me here. Lynmana = Lin-mah-nah Straightforward enough, admittedly, but it is NOT pronounced like 'lin-may-nah' or some weird thing like that - or worse, 'lin-may-nay.' NOOOOO. NOOOOOOO~~!!! Lin-Mah-Nah. Simple as that. Good? Good.
