EDIT: I added download links for the warhammer addons I missed Nim weathers addon in the needed.rar, reuploaded and deleted the old file Ok I think you are creating some really nice addons but there are few missions/campaigns.To do my part to counter that issue I'm working on a campaign now which bases on the wh40k nogova. I just renamed it to Novera in the campaign, I couldn't stand "protecting Nogova" as I would think of Victor Troska&Friends everytime I heard that. Well though I had advanced course in English (in school) I think I still have issues there so texts may not have a superb quality . Well² same to my editing skill, I won't give you Abandoned Armies quality .Well³ I started just yesterday (and lost my first 4-hours-work-intro.sqs to a crash, talk about save early, save often and that stuff :> ) but I managed to complete the basics of the first mission and intro, so it will need further tuning at some point. But, because I lose focus often, I uploaded a first version of the mission. This first mission is the Proloque to the campaign. Please don't hit escape when you see the intro, it actually took more time to create than the mission... Ok looks good so far. After hunting and you go home - thats when the mission ends? Or did the mission end early. In any event a very good refreshing mission. More coming later? |

I will give it a try when I will be back from the work. As I looked at the screens-are they edited? The bloom effects are looking nice (I already found some .dll from GTA: VC but it was messing up the game). Can you upload or give me link please? |

Yep it is the proloque to the campaign which I work on so it not sets your right into the battle, to unfold the story (the Bloodpact seems to be particulary interested in that old church... ) but don't worry, you'll join the Imperial Guard later.@Bigfoot Yep no problem, they're from enb-series, I'm using the NBA version, it adds a softening shader. There is a Morrowind site telling about the stuff, it's good to see the different effects explained: http://vality7.googlepages.com/mwfx I disabled all effects expect the effect.txt (which softens the colors) and bloom, tweaked the brightness of the soft-shader abit. To get it to work in OFP you need to use the enb-converter found under downloads -> Mafia of the enb-page You can also download my configured files, I'm playing at 1.2 gamma and 1.0 brightness ingame, so if it's too dark/too bright either change the values ingame or modify the effect.txt as told in the link, it's this line: float4 envcol=(envcol1+envcol2+envcol3)*0.45; change the last number to change brightness. welcome to the forums and a big compliment to you that you want to make a campaing with our addons. You mission skills seem very good, I have played the first mission and I like it. I enjoyed the briefing and messages, all in all, its a nice prologue. Well done, really, seem like you know the craft well. Oh, and dont worry about LAgs, the IG and BP update is going to be released soon, with resLODs and faster scripts, so maybe you will make a nice, big battles. Dont give it up, it´s got a potentional to be a VERY good campaign I think. |

Hey thanks for all the nice comments - sorry for the late answer - Sengir, I remember playing some of your russian ww2 missions for libmob, considering I replayed them 3 times or so I'm feeling honoured by your compliments . I originally planned to start the action just after the first proloque mission, but that would rush things too much imo, so I worked on a second proloque mission, I'll upload it tomorrow. 3rd Mission will feature IG basic training, after that it's wartime for Novora and the real action starts. I'm using computer generated voices in the broadcast because my voice just sounds too young, don't panic, it's not the Microsoft-Sam robotic voice, but something which just sounds too natural, I almost fell out of my chair when I used this first. Right, man, thanks for the compliments and also for that you are still staying with us. I really like the screenshots:) This might turn up as the best wh40k campaign so far, im really looking forward to seeing it. If you need any voiceacting, I think I might help you (as best as I can). I´m 28 and I´m a guy with a quite deep voice (especially on Saturday mornings, lol) , I teach English at school,. Although I´m not a native English speaker I´ve got a British accent. i have downloaded both of U'r missions(prt 1,2) i like very much (not sure how much weight that is but just the same) only thing that i had a hard time with is the young ladie at the market, took me a while to find her, she is behind a wall (inside the church)... but it did work.... ![]() and your grasp of cut scene and cam work is really really good - puts me to shame please keep this going. |
