what would you like to make , since your new at it , I would say something SIMPLE ???? Like ammo crate or a House/Building - ( simple box with roof and maybe a door if its to able to be entered ) ?? |

Hey! what the heck is that "Sargent" rank? Where did this word come from? Second question. Is it possible to slow down time in the game (with setacctime #) but not to slow our character's moves? I am talking about some sort of bullet time. |

I'm afraid not Profane. There are a few possiblities with this as I have experimented before. 1) You get super reflex moves compared to the AI, you can shoot at least three before 1 has even aimed and shot at you. 2) Not sure if this would work, but you could use setVelocity to allow quicker movement - but this would have to be scripted in. I would recommend going to my rpg toolkit, opening the assault marine folder and looking at the jump script I edited. Where it has: setvelocity [10*sin _ang, 10*cos _ang,88] Is what you want to play around with but make sure both 10's are changed to be equal, or you'll be flying around in different directions. 88 is the verticle vector angle you'll fly, I found 15 is a good number for straight flight. Thank you peterbub! Iw il try it. I'd like to make a (very mini) campaign with two or three missions for the vindicare assassin. would be great if he would have some special abalities. Like mini computer in headset, medkit, and bullet time. I have the story in my mind, currently I am drawning a picture to use it as a logo. The title would be "Those who have turned their faces". Drama and a (somewhat) linear gameplay. I work nicely, slowly, like an old man in the retirement home. But I am sure at the end I will need some help to correct the grammar mistakes. Meanwhile I am working on the ultramarines armour too. I hope I can finish it in this month. Ultramarines are more important. Once again peterpub, I'd like to thank your big help! |

I was making a vindicare mission myself but it was scrapped. I came up with this script though, it allows you to "jump" over objects. Very handy when you want to jump over some crates or a pipe. ;--------------------------------------------------- player removeAction MyEpicActionID _obj = _this select 0 _shift = _this select 1 _pos= getPos _obj _loc = [_pos select 0] + [_pos select 1] + [(_pos select 2)+0.1] _obj setPos _loc ~1 MyEpicActionID = player addAction ["Jump!", "JumpSmall.sqs"] ;--------------------------------------------------- Just put that in a script named JumpSmall.sqs or what ever you want to call it. Then just do the addAction: MyEpicActionID = player addAction ["Jump!", "JumpSmall.sqs"] You can then adjust the height the unit will jump by changing the figure 10. It's on an X Y Z coordinates. So Z (verticle) being the last figure. Hope this helps you somewhat. |

Please, please please tell me, What are the real titles, where did you get, who is the author of the Ultramarines music in the mod? You know, for example, the "ANewDawn", "Droppod1", "Firesupportneeded", "Needreinforcements" and alll of them! Please please please, I am dying to know what is this music!!!!! They are so epic. At least tell me one little piece of information, and I can make an investigation! I will be very grateful! (BTW I think I can finish the Ultramarines armor in the near future). DoW PC games , and if I remember : the older PC game of chaos gate, ... Rites of War, and the fire warrior pc game. Its been some time since Sengir and my self hunted down the sound tracks .. and its a shame that I lost 90% of my back up files to tell you 100% sure where they all came from ..

Hello. I need info about imperial cities. First: Is there any kind of categorized imperial city in the Wh40k universe which would fit well into these images? Are there full-sized metroplis planets apart from hive worlds? ![]() ![]() Second: Hive city is a "hollow" mountain, right? But has it got streets and life outside of it's skin? Other then some info from 40k books as so forth, nothing written in the emperor's Blood as to what is what but : Lexicanum : Hive City It could be possible to have 4 or 8 hive cities on a 512x512 map in OFP, as long as the poly count of the buildings that make up the city are not HUGE. I have played around with some Ideas for a HIVE for OFP (if you have plans on making one) make sure your Pathways are wide enough for your AI's or they will not move through out the city or will become lost if they are part of a group. One thing I have come to find that when making a Map in OFP for a City size (HUGE) is to have 50meter wide streets at lest, so AI will have nice pathways (AI in OFP hate being in Closed Places) ![]() |
