Very good video, that's a nice way to tell history.

sanctuary: unfortunaly fraps is decreasing the video quality after the YouTube upload,
if you think that the forest of canada are safe because there is no sandworm in the north america forest it's because you forget that there is the Bigfoot around there :) (or the indian daemon that i forget it's name)

I use to use "FRAPS" (still do now and then), But then I switched to "Bandicam", Trying to get a Retail one, that will take a while..

Then I started to use the "EVOLVE" app for MP to play OFP and A2 (when Jackie was working)....

Evolve records very well, something Like Bandicam, and when I use the "Windows Movie Maker" I set the File to a 720 dpi, and my newest videos only lose about 5% quality once uploaded to YT.

EVOLVE Gaming App

Evolve lets me play all my games that use to use "Gamespy". The main thing is .. every one who would be playing MP in OFP would need "Evolve" too.

Think of Evolve like Tungle, and Team Speak... Not only can you MP with friends, but you can VOX with them too. ;)

sancturay, yes that's it the wendigo well done but don't lost your time with i don't want to implement a daemon in the game otherwise i will have another kind of game the "historical horror survival" game Oo
the only way i need help is to improve the naval fight, i have several naval unit with (multiturret) but they don't want to fight each other, it seems that they don't recognize the ennemy.

That's probably a trick of the Wendigo :D

More seriously for the ships models, are lods correct ( dimension not beyond the OFP max ? not too complex geo and fire geo lods ? )

If nothing looks wrong, maybe try to play with some invisible targets addon.

Not that I have as Much XP as Most of you, But I found while testing the Titans vs Gargants . etc , if the Weapons of side A are not strong enough to hurt side B, they will not shoot at said Enemy...

Such as a infantry with a AK will not attack a APC or a MBT.

I always thought of a Multi-gun ship (Imperial Navy) to show Gun Flash for the 4 to 6 gus on the Sides to flash when guns fire, but only having that 1 Gun st to Center of Ship, It would have a Main Gun and 2nd Gun Like the TANKS, But both guns are the same ammo, Main Gun Looks Left and 2nd Gun looks right. and have a 120 degrees arc in their directions for BROAD Side shots ..

Would that Work ? or am I thinking way outside the Box ..



Oh and the Evolve App.. the Recorder's Record limits is : how every BIG your HDD is, as long as you have space, it will keep recording, non of this 10 minute MAX limit bla bla bla ... ;)

Ammo/weapon settings can affect vehicle behaviour. I've found that setting "canlock" to 2 in CfgWeapons can help. 0 means never lock and 1 means only lock in cadet mode. 2 tells the AI it can lock at all times.

Although it may not apply as much to your particular project Spad, Irlock and airlock in the CfgAmmo section also affect behaviour. But in a more obvious way. :)

And the part LFH mentions about armour kicks in after an 8000 value I think. Lower for infantry. Armoured vehicles won't bother even looking at a unit with values higher than that.

I had some problems with my At-At in that regard. Any lower than 8000 and AI tanks and aircraft chewed through them in short order. So I had to balance it out with a simple health script. It was the only way to get them to fire and have the At-At survive.

thanks for yours advices guys i will test, otherwise Oliver Hazard Perry mission won't be playable in OFP gosh i hope not :)
