i prefer the grey schem, the gold is very hard to render in OFP. 2000 poly is very good maybe you can add some vertical column instead of having them in texture but don't over 3000 poly for an empty object. The land pad is excellent, set it with the refuel capability in config. |

The full grey is better.The gold on grey doesn't have enough contrast.You might get a lot of banding and artifacts when you convert that to paa/pac. |

OK I KNOW this is not Planet Vraks, But I wanted to show some of the Map objects that are in game atm (testing): I made a set of "DOCK" objects for CW40K. "WHY" might you ask, cause on most Imperial Planets, there are LARGE Bodies of Water, and Not ALL worlds have "LARGE Anti-Grave" Ships to get from one Continent to the other. As well, The Assault on Helsreach during the 3rd Armageddon War, has the ORKS attacking the DOCKS of Helsreach. ![]() More Pics here : Images Of Helsreach - 63 pics The Docks are Classed as ROADS, AI have gone onto the Docks, but as they go a bit farther out, they like to try their Hand at SWIMMING ... SO far with Testing (on my pc) battles of 100 per side (west-east-res-civi) in the DOCK area plays well with a setView of 1500 meters. In 10 Test battles, the Ork Stompas and Gargants have a 50/50 chance of NOT walking from point A to B. Looted tanks and other ORK Vehicles get from A to B with little to no Problems. As the Area Is set up in 4 sections: South Docks Southeast Docks East Docks Northeast Docks Each Area can/could be set up as a BATTLE. As it is now, the Dock Warehouses are permanent on the map. If anyone has a better idea of HOW Each Dock section can be set up I am willing to Change. |

OK so this is something that will work with Vraks and or any other CW40K Mission .... Adeptus Mechanicus Skitarius Dropship ![]() ![]() Just so no one goes all bonkers about the scale ... The Current Space Marine battle Barge in game .. is twice as big as this. The Goal of this ship is two fold .. #1: to make a SMALL ship about 1/4 the size to act for intros and cut scenes that it flies like the Thunderhawk. (this ship will be so you can see it flying and landing in the cut scenes) #2: to have this HUGE Ship as a Static object to have in missions to have troops dis-embark from. (this ship will be placed on the mission part of the map as it has already landed ..) The Ship is Un-armed, but fluff is that it is as armored as a Battle barge because of not having any weapons .. As it will be a static object, It will be set up to be having an inside (4 floors/decks, and command center) ETC.... |

OK an update on the : Adeptus Mechanicus Skitarius Dropship ![]() ** "250 m long" ** It's Now UV-Mapped, just have to make sure the Peaces are all x-y-z to the Zero Axis. Then Off to o2 to have a go at the LODS and for a .cpp As I posted in the above post, My Hope is to have at lest two of these ships in game, One for Cut scenes and one for missions. Cut scenes will be as lager as a Thunderhawk, where the Mission one will be Full Size. If I can not get a FULL Size one to Work, Then maybe a 1/2 scale??? ** NOTE ** This Ship dose not have any working doors/hatches or insides. 5,200 verts is the Models Count In Full as is. LFH |
