I am just mentioning this as I am trying to make a campaign and it may come in handy when creating your own missions. AI Jump troops will not jump across water using the jump script. However they will jump over if you use the group jump command if you are the leader. They will however jump over Hive walls using the script, however careful positioning is required and involves trial and error. Empty Drop Pods take longer to reach the surface and are more likely to go off course from waypoints. Drop pods and cargo do not survive collisions with trees or walls so open ground is important when using them. This has been tested with Blood Angels and Storm Boys. |

Scripts for Jump troops are generalized. All missions are different and a good script writer knows the best script he writes at times may need to be retweaked. The jump scripts do need some micro-management to operate just the way some missions might call for. I suppose I can look into it to see if there is a better way. Someone else's script so I'll provide feedback to originator of script. |

These are just observations not a critique, I thought it would save time for some people. I have nothing against the scripter, I have written programs myself and are fully aware of the complexities. |
