In some 40k novels trucks are mentioned - f.e. in several Gaunt's Ghosts Any idea what they would look like? Huge and blocky with lots of rivets or more like 30's/40's style? no further reference about found yet XKiller __________________________

Good place to start is look at - german/US halftrack - just make them blockier - robust with bolts, seat them like russian troops - 3 to a bench 4 benches - instead of 1/2 on each side of halftrack. Could make diff variants as hidden selections - autocannon - Laser - Heavy bolter - plasma - flamer - multimelta - mole mortar - rapier - missile carrier - etc.... All up to you.. kruppe wagon also nice model to emulate - just make blockier. Bren track - just make longer a little deeper/taller... Use your imagination - I've seen what you can do so far... |

found this: EPIC - Termite Assault UnitI know its no truck, but I think it gives a good idea of the cabin of a large Munitorium or PDF transporter. Doesn't it look a bit like the stock OFP scud truck? Also I remember something said about 8x8 trucks in one of the Gaunt's Ghosts novels, so my proposal for an easy solution would be to strip off the scud missile and add seatings for troops. Wouldn't be too hard job, I think. Unfortunately I'm no modeler. XKiller __________________________

that mole tank is proberly the best refrence ur gunna find in my oppinion is to make the truck heavyly armoued and lightly armed (one or the othere but not both its not a tank) make them look dirty and make it like its been rebuilt alot (guard dont maintain there trucks as well as tanks) but knowing your wok i can expect an amazing result ill see what i can kitbash as a refrence |

as for i can not get to some of the gamepark web site,, dont ask , can't tell ya.. but the new 10 ton US cargo truck looks pretty much a 40k type veh, we also us the road warrior duce mod (armored 3 ton ) that comes in the v3 release.. its one bitch of a veh to use, armored up and fast.. yep yep yep.. |

It should be a heavily riveted ugly monster of a truck, at least the size of the scud truck or the faun franziska - http://ofp.gamepark.cz/index.php?showthis=9911 - with lots of tires to carry the huge weight, an 8x8 or even 10x10. But that's only my opinion. XKiller __________________________
