Need help; The mod

This has never happened before when I installed and played his mod, but every time i launch wh40kv3 I get an error saying no value in something. I can still play the game though, but
the stranges things happen.

The SLX addons are in the mission editor along with a bunch of other stuff like EU object ect.
Also I get vietnam islands.
The slx animations screw up the mod.

But I did not launch it with slx or any other addons.
I also do not have anything in my res data folder.
But I did find my ofp dta folder to look kinda funny.

So I unistalled ofp and reinstalled and delleted all mods and just ran wh40k again.
Samething.

So deleted XP and reinstalled it.
Same thing.

as for the error of "value not an array" ... yes we know of this and some time in future will have it fixed.

SLX_melee addons are for the Orks close combat config afaik.

yes Vietnam islands are in the download mod

what is SLX doing to screw up the mod??


the pic you posted - there is nothing wrong with that... My OFP has the same thing

i am sorry that you had to re install XP, i don't be leave the problem was in your XP... maybe the way you set up your OFP and the mod..

once you have the ofp and mod re installed, post me a pic to see what your folder looks like in your main OFP.

Ok I have it worked out.
The no value in array error has something to do with slx.
The animations I think.
Because the animations when I run wh40kv3 wit nothing else the animations are messed up! it looks like they are trying to use slx animations.
Like the battlesuit troops when they go prone it just looks wrong.
Also when they go prone, the aim is messed up.
Just messed up things like that.

Its weird that this has never happened. Must have been a different version I played.
I might do some editing on the animations like putting the dta in your mod over and overwriting the ofp ones.
Might work.
I was just frustrated because the content of the mod is so awsome I was wanting to make a Cti, but these little animation bugs messes up the gameplay. Thank you for your hard work.

as far as i know, there are no critical issues with animations. All runs fine as long you DONT USE ANY SLX, ECP or addons like that! You dont need and also you cant use any addons like this when playing our mod It has been told many times, that these mods can fuck up our addons/anims seriously, so remove everything, even from your Dta folder, which alters the original OFP files.
This isn´t my fault, i made all the cfgs allright, it´s those mods. They rewrite the BIS way of coding stuff some of our addons use for anim cfg structure and fuck it up badly, rewriting anim classes and files and as you may know there are many units of different sizes and shapes and all of them have custom anims - which get fucked when you use SLX etc.
And no, I didnt use any SLX melee scripts or anims, there are no things like that. So I repeat, dont use any of these mods above unless you want to have problems.

Oh, and I really won´t adjust the addons for these mods, so it´s your choice - a clean wh40k folder and no probs or mixed addons and problems ;) I won´t reply to anim probs like this anymore, because we told that a million times already. :-/

yes this modules of the suits look wrong when prone, it is a bug or what ever you want to call it, cause with one guy doing all the modeling and animations and configuring, he does not have time to do it all in 24 hrs, :-/ ( if we did then we would have more mods for you in a shorter time, but Sengir is great at his job/hobby but he is still one man )

it has been so long since i played the older version of the mod... i for get if the battle suits did or did not screw up once they laid down. :D

Ok I understand the animation thing. I just dont remmember it ever happening.
Im not taking you guys for granted. I love your work.
Thats probably why I freaked out and wanted it to work so badly.
But I may do some editing with the anim.pbo.
Im still convinced my ofp is fked up.

Like I said i never copy files over my vanilla ofp files and I only use mods, addons from a mod folder and use a shortcut.
So it couldnt be or has anything to do with me running ecp, slx with wh40k mod.
I use it straight up.
