Hello,

First off I want to say thanks for making this mod. I appreciate the amount of work that had to go into it.

I do have a question though about the 2nd Armageddon Wars campaign. On mission 01 where you are supposed to hold off the Ork attack I can't figure out how to win. Ive tried grabbing Rokkits from dead Orks and such but all I can really do is sit and watch the tanks get killed until an Ork rolls up and blows me away.

What am I missing?



My second question would be if all the tank tracks move backwards? Looks like it to me, but it might just be the way I'm looking at them.

Hello and welcome to the forums
1) You should try to kill off all the lesser vehicles with your plasmagun, the Baneblades should eventualy defeat the gargant and stompa units. It´s a long mission but it will finish after all unis are dead/time expires. Maybe there are still some living crews in disabled vehicles, make sure they smoke. And watch out for lone melee ork infantry units if you run towards the advancing enemy, they got me many times.

2) I know about this, some vehicles suffer from this problem, but I dont know how to fix it at the moment.

I didnt realize my gun could disable tanks.

Also I didnt think there was a time limit. I had set it to 4X speed and hid while I made breakfast and nothing happened.

if i am not mistaken, there is a 15 minute time limit on mission 01 and the mission should end .. weather or not the orks win or the player wins..

some times each mission plays the right way it was intended to play out, and some times they did not, so i had to make sure that each mission would end ( a force end time limit ).

one of the reasons why it took so long to make the campaign was due to the unexpected AI behavior..

i can say that i do have less hair now then what i did when i started the campaign :D

Thanks for the info Ladie from Hell.

It must have been a glitch on the first attempt, when I restarted my campaign the mission adruptly ended as I was running around so I dnt know why it didnt work the first time.


I know what you mean by unpredictable AI. I've been utilizing OFPEC for years to fix my mediocre missions. Lots of setdir and setbehavior commands to make sure people/vehices end up where they belong.

I have the mission making skills of a fruit-bat and I'm not super familiar with WH lore or I would make a mission or two with these mods.
