to me there is no disputing the existence of Allah [swt].
The proofs of Islam are NUMEROUS.

The Scientific Miracles in the Holy Qur'an

The Qur'an is the literal word of God, which He revealed to His Prophet Muhammad (saws) through the Angel Gabriel. It was memorised by Muhammad (saws), who then dictated it to his companions. They, in turn memorised it, wrote it down, and reviewed it with the Prophet Muhammad (saws). Moreover the Prophet Muhammad (saws) reviewed the Qur'an with the Angel Gabriel once each year and twice in the last year of his life. From the time the Qur'an was revealed, until this day there has been a large number of Muslims who have memorised all of the Qur'an letter by letter, Some of them have been able to memorise all of the Qur'an by the age of ten. Not one letter of the Qur'an has been changed over the centuries.

The Qur'an, which was revealed fourteen centuries ago, mentions facts only recently discovered or proven by scientists. This proves without doubt that the Qur'an must be the literal word of God, revealed by Him to the Prophet Muhammad (saws) and that the Qur'an was not authored by Muhammad (saws) or by any other human being. This also proves that Muhammad (saws) is truly a Prophet sent by God. It is beyond reason that anyone fourteen hundred years ago would have known these facts discovered or proven recently with advanced equipment and sophisticated Scientific methods. Some examples follow.

The Qur'an on Human Embryonic Development:
In the Qur'an Allah (swt) says "We created man from an extract of clay. Then We made him as a drop in a place of settlement, firmly fixed. Then we made the drop into an alaqah [Leech, suspended thing, or blood clot] then we made the alaqah into a mudghah [Chewed substance]" [Qur'an 23:12-14]

Comparing the embryo to a leech using the word Alaqah is accurate as at the stage in question the embryo looks similar to a leech [as pictured below] and it also receives it's nourishment from the blood of it's mother.

Using the word Alaqah again to say the embryo is suspended within the womb, due to it's size at this stage. It's attached to the side by the umbilical cord but otherwise it's just hanging and leaning on nothing. Again for the sake of clarity, pictured below.

Now, the word Alaqah also compares our embryo to a blood clot. Why is that? Well, the embryo will not have any circulation until about three weeks into the pregnancy. And also have large amounts of blood flowing to it, making the embryo at this stage appearing similar to a blood clot, externally.

Next in that verse from the Qur'an comes the word mudghah which translated to "chewed substance". If one was to take a piece of gum and chew it to leave teeth marks down the side it would look as the developing spine, of the embryo does, chewed. The picture below will display the resemblance of the embryo's somites with chew marks. A piece of gum being used as it easy retains teeth marks and can be molded.

In 1677 using a microscope Antonie van Leeuwenhoek, also known as the father of microbiology, became the first person on Earth to observe human sperm cells. It was mistakenly believed that the sperm cell contained a miniature human that grew when deposited in a female [kind of like on Family Guy].
Later Professor Emeritus Keith L. Moore, one of the world's most noted scientists of anatomy and embryology wrote the book Developing the Human. In 1981 at a conference in Dammam, Saudi Arabia Moore stated "It has been with great pleasure for me to help clarify statements in the Qur'an about human development. It is clear to me that these statement must have come to Muhammad from God, because almost all of this knowledge was not discovered until many centuries later. This proves to me that Muhammad must have been a messenger from God"
Following this statement professor Moore was asked Does this mean that you believe that the Qur'an is the word of God? to which he replied "I have no difficulty in accepting this."
During a following conference Professor Moore said that "...Because the staging of human embryos is complex, owing to the continuous process of changing during development, it is proposed that a new system of classification could be developed using the terms mentioned in the Qur'an and Sunnah [actions, words or condolences of the Prophet Muhammad (saws)]. The proposed system is simple, comprehensive and conforms with present embryonical knowledge. The intensive studies of the Qur'an and Hadith [reliably transmitted reports by the Prophet's (saws) companions on what he said, did or approved] in the last four years have revealed a system for classifying human embryos that is amazing since it was recorded in the seventh century A.D. Although Aristotle, the founder of the science of embryology, realised that chick embryos developed in stages from his studies of hen's eggs in the fourth century B.C. he did not give any details about these stages. As far as it is known fro the history of embryology, little was known about the staging and classification of human embryos until the twentieth century. For this reason, the descriptions of the human embryo in the Qur'an cannot be based on scientific knowledge in the seventh century. The only reasonable conclusion is: these descriptions were revealed to Muhammad (saws) from God. He could not have known such details because he was an illiterate man with absolutely no scientific training."

The Qur'an on the origin of the universe:
There's no question that Allah [swt] was our creator. He created the universe. And I know a lot of people who don't believe in Allah [swt] will not just sit back and accept that so let me explain this in a lot more detail.

Science has told us that at one time the universe was nothing but a cloud of 'smoke' [ being an opaque, dense gaseous composition]. This stands a unanimous hypothesis among modern cosmologists. Also, it's now being observed that new stars are still being formed out of this 'smoke'.

"Then he turned to the heaven and it was smoke..." [Qur'an 41:11]
Because the Earth and what we see in the sky has originated fro the same smoke, and we believe that once upon a time they were all one interconnected entity, until withing the homogeneous 'smoke' they formed and broke away from each other. Allah [swt] says in the Qur'an "Have not those who disbelieved known that the heavens and the Earth were one connected entity, then We separated them?..." [Qur'an 21:30]
A world renowned Geologist, the chairman of the Department of Geology at the institute of Geosciences, Johannes Gutenburg University, Mainz, Germany, Mr Alfred Kroner has said "Thinking where Muhammad (saws) came from...I think it's impossible that he could have known about things like the common origin of the universe, because scientist have only found out within the last few years, with very complicated and advanced technological methods, that this is the case" and "Somebody who did not know something about nuclear physics fourteen hundred years ago could not, I think, be in a position to find out from his own mind, for instance that the Earth and heavens [as in outer space] had the same origin"
Below, again for the sake of clarity I have included a picture of a new star forming. :)

Note that it is forming out of a cloud of gas and dust, which resembles the 'smoke' that was the origin of the whole universe. According not only to the Qur'an but also modern cosmology!

New stars shed light on the past
A new image from the Hubble Space Telescope shows N90, one of the star-forming regions in the Small Magellanic Cloud. The rich populations of infant stars found here enable astronomers to examine star forming processes in an environment that is very different from that in our own Milky Way. The Qur'an on the Cerebrum:
Allah [swt] said about a disbelieve who tried to forbid the Prophet Muhammad (saws) from praying at the Ka'aba in the Qur'an "No! If he does not stop We will take him by the naseyah [front of the head], a lying, sinful naseyah!" [Qur'an 96:15-16]
The Qur'an specifically pointed out that the front of this man's head was lying and sinful instead of the man himself for a reason [There is a reason behind everything in the Holy Qur'an. Alhamdulillah.]
The Cerebrum, which is in the prefrontal area of the brain [pictured below] is the area that is responsible for our planning and motivating. This has only been known and proven by science within the last sixty years, again the Qur'an had this fact written in the fourteenth century.

I could go on with any more Scientific miracles, but I will just mention a few more and leave you all to frolic and find out about these for yourself. But also they can be found in I. A. Ibrahim's book A brief illustrated guide to Understanding Islam. Please not that I didn't copy it word for word, but have used it to help with this post. ^_^
