"Anything is fine, really, so long as it's warm and filling," Naomi replied, absentmindedly braiding the long sections of her hair into pigtails as was her custom.

She fetched her satchel, which housed her key, and promptly opened the door for the priest.

"Thank you again, Father."

Albel nodded and headed out the door, he sighed. "At least that wasn't totally awkward." he said to himself thinking back to his showing her his scarring. "But... that's how life is unexpected surprises it seems." he had meant to think that rather than say it, but he gave no motion to try and take it back.

He headed down to the ground floor and sat at a table, he looked over towards the bar and waited for a waiter to show up. "Hmm... so how did you end up here?" he asked Naomi looking towards her, his head cocked slightly to the left.

The lycan sat down at the table, across from the priest, and smiled warmly at him.

"It's quite a long story, for a short period of time. The gist of it is, I tried robbing a merchant, ended up in his employ, and then came to this town with him," Naomi said casually, not going into any details. She had only told this story a couple of times, but already she was tired of telling it.

"And you, Father? Do you live in this town?" she asked politely, folding her hands in front of her on the table.

Albel slowly placed his hands behind his head and shook his head at Naomi, "Interesting turn of events." he told her with a laugh, "But.. I don't live here I'm just passing through or well I stayed here to help with the rebellion and now that things seem to be normal I'm going to travel again." he had stayed so long that he figured to wait an extra day or two so his guild would pay him then he'd head off.

"I'm a traveling priest, I try to go to as many towns as possible, help people my guild pays me a set amount of money to travel with as such I may as well stay here another day and get paid then I'm leaving. This whole lockdown thing is silly really, it actually drains funds from the cities vaults and hinders the guard well the ones that aren't just volunteers. The guardsmen that you see running around patrolling are all volunteers here the real guards are patrolling the old castle, it seems the vampires had a rebellion of their own and they lost their leader." he had said a mouthful and took a deep breath.

"Yeah, so I heard," Naomi said, trying to hide a smile, "This lock down is a bit inconvenient. So, as a traveling priest, what is it that you do? This town has a church already."

She leaned back in her chair and kicked her legs like a bored child. The table shook with every kick, though she barely tapped it with her feet.

"I just go around the town rather than having the town come to me. I have the free time other people sometimes work and can't make it. But I just do things like how I helped you, simplistic things like that. Then I report the things I've done back to the guild and if the church seems to need more help then send an extra priest or priestess." Yet another long winded speech, made Albel take another deep breathe though he laughed with this one.

"You seem pretty curious about this for one so young though." he was figuring Naomi to look older than she appeared but he didn't know what age to really place on her. "How old are you?" he asked her, he brought his hands down and lowered his head, his right hand began to play with his hair as he whistled.

Finally a waiter was free and they held up their hand towards Naomi and Albel, to give them a moment.

"Well, that's certainly thoughtful. And I believe I'm in my eighteenth year, though it's hard to keep track of such things," Naomi replied, fidgeting in her chair. She was impatient for the waiter to come; the hunger pains were bothering her greatly.

The girl leaned forward and put her arms on the table, putting her chin in her hands.

"So, are you going to be here long?"

"I'll have to wait a day or two more before I get paid, what about you?" he asked Naomi, looking over towards the waiter he waved and smiled, then looked back over at Naomi, his look towards her was more like he was looking through her spacing out into space as he played with his hair.

Finally a different waitress came over, apologizing quickly. "I'm really sorry about the wait we are a bit busy and trying to train some new people." she, took a deep breathe and waited to take their orders. "If you want any bread it'll have to wait a bit as it'll be fresh." she said remembering that they had to cook more.

The waitress was a klutz to say the very least, but Albel gave his order without moving his eyes he was still spaced out. "I'll have some bread and soup." he said then tilted his head slightly to the right.

"Bread and cheese, please," Naomi ordered gratefully, smiling at the waitress.

"I don't know how much longer I'll be here," she answered, scratching the back of her head, "My employer rented the room for me, so I'm hoping he'll be back to retrieve me soon. If not, I'll be stuck here."

The waitress nodded and went to get their food ready, Albel finally blinked and lifted his head up a bit. "you can have more if you want." he said towards the fact she ordered only cheese and bread.
He stopped playing his hair, reluctantly and took a deep breath, "If he doesn't come back for you, you could always join me and travel that way. I'd send in that you joined me to my guild and they'd send enough money for both of us. The work is actually easy you just need to offer help to people, and that ranges to anything." he told her, he usually did travel alone perhaps company wouldn't be bad.

"And being a priestess you won't get stuck in a town over papers they'll be forced to let you leave." Albel considered that little part to be a failure in defense cause an enemy could disguise but he wasn't part of an army anymore.

"So how old do I look? I often get the question of if I am even eighteen." he sighed, he really did look younger than he was which annoyed him greatly at times,
