Gates: Except when they aren't regular matches! Up next folks, the ICWF Television Title is going to be defended in a "Maker's Mark" match. This one should be a barnburner!

Gerald Casale: And to help us explain the intricacies of just what is involved in a "Maker's Mark" match, we are joined for this match by the esteemed "Professor" Brandon Young.

[The camera shows the announce table, where a young Hispanic man in an oversized white lab coat sits next to Gerald Casale.]

Professor Brandon Young: Thanks for having me.

Gates: What exactly are you a 'Professor' of again?

Brandon: I am a professor of ring psychology and specialty matches.

Gates: Riiight. Hey, you look familiar. Aren't you... Hey, you're the other kid involved with Nextwave, aren't you?

Brandon: Bullsh- I uh, mean... I have no idea what your talking about, Mr. Gates. I am a highly respected professor in psychology. I was personally asked here for this match.

Gates: Riiiight. Well, whatever. Let's get on with this match.

"Slick" Mick: Ladies and gentlemen, the following match is the Maker's Mark match, for the ICWF Television Title!

*HUGE CROWD POP*

"Slick" Mick: This match will be contested with a 30 minute time limit. Your referee for this match is Herman Gehl.

[The lights in the arena slowly dims down to dark. As the arena darkens, smoke begins to fill the entryway. The arena is now pitch black. On the IntenseTron, these words slowly appear: "This shield your father kept always safe for you; do you, therefore, keep it safe, or cease to live."]

#Cue# "Fever Dream" by Tyler Bates

[The music begins simultaneously with a spot light hitting the ramp, showing the silhouette of a huge man behind the smoke…that man is Alexander Megalos. The music continues blasting over the PA System, as an explosion of pyros blasts across the entryway. Megalos emerges from the smoke and walks down to the ring. He is steely eyed and focused, not stopping to taunt, slap hands, or anything. As he makes his way to the ring, the IntenseTron shown various clips of Megalos in action in the ring, along with clips of Spartans in battle, and Greek landmarks. When Megalos is about halfway down the ramp, Calypso appears, and walks down the ramp, holding a spear and shield in her hands. Megalos slides under the ropes and takes off his shirt, throwing it out into the crowd. Calypso sets the spear and shield down at ringside in Alexander's corner.]

Gates: Alexander Megalos and CK Walker have a bitter, hate-fueled rivalry of late. Megalos would like nothing more than to crush Walker and take that TV Title from him.

Casale: He's a chump.

"Professor" Brandon Young: Agreed.

[A discordant clatter of metal grinding against metal and being hammered blasts across the PA system, as the lights dim in the arena. As the arena reaches darkness, the phrase "I am a reflection of you" flash across the Intensetron as "Lava" begins to pound through the system, with red lights flashing in synch.]

[As the bass kicks in, reverberating around the arena, Patterson emerges at the top of the ramp wearing a "Contents under EXTREME PRESSURE" t-shirt (available now at ICWFshop.com! ) and a black duster coat and starts to walk down the ramp immediately…]

"Hot lava
On the always
Make ready to burn
What the hell is in your
Lost and your found
Got lotta those time
Some owner lost
He wants nothin' but the kick underground"

[Patterson reaches the bottom of the ramp and slides straight into the ring and paces around the ring for a few moments, before dropping his coat to the mat…]

"'(Be Healed, Be healed!)'"

[Patterson pulls on the ropes for a moment, before throwing a couple of hard right handed punches to the nearest turnbuckle, before kicking the bottom turnbuckle for good measure…]

"Hot lava, lava…"

[Patterson removes the shirt to reveal a cut-off ReDRuM t-shirt, as he tosses his original shirt at the referee, before spitting on the mat.]

Gates: Rich Patterson also on a mission tonight, having been so close to the ICWF TV Title on the last two PPVs, he's hoping tonight will be his lucky night.

Casale: But he's gonna have a tough time getting away from this guy.

[The lights suddenly dim. A deep voice echoes through the complex....]

Voice: What you are about to witness is _pure perfection_. Please consider yourself....

[slight pause]

'Privileged'

[Green lasers begin to point all over the arena. Bright lights begin running up either side of the Intense-Tron as the beginning chords of 'Simon Says' by 'Drain STH' begins to blare!]

**BOOM**

**BOOM**

*F-WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOSH*

[Pyros explode all over the entrance way as green 'sparks' fall from the top of 'Intense-Tron' . The crowd re-acts in a negative way as the silhouette of CK Walker is seen in the entrance way. Across the screen flashes..... ]

[Walker struts out through the rain of 'green sparks' decked out in a black and gold sparkly hoody jacket with 'PRIVILEGED' written across the back in fancy white script. His lower torso covered by normal trunks that are sparkly gold on the front and black on the back with 'PURE PERFECTION' across the butt in fancy white script. His knees are covered by normal black knee pads while his half black/half gold boots with 'CK' written on the sides in fancy white script finish off the look. Walker pushes the shades up to his forehead scanning the crowd.]

[On the screen flashes....]

[ Walker cockily descends to the ring. He stops, unzips his jacket and opens it wide exposing the ICWF Television title around his waist. Walker continues down the aisle, spinning around and jawing at the fans. He gets to ringside, where he cockily walks up the steps, wipes his boots on the outside apron then demands for the ref to open the ropes!]

[On the Tron flashes...]

[Once inside, CK hops on the second turnbuckle, and points at the six pack abs and ICWF T.V title before jutting a thumb at himself. He jumps down and hops up on the opposite buckle, doing the same before closing his eyes and inhaling deeply, feeding off the energy of the crowd. He raises his arms to either side of him and does 'come on give me more' hand gesture as highlights of him in action flash across the screen.]

"Slick" Mick: Introducing first, challenger number 1 to my right. He stands 6 feet, 6 inches tall, weighing in at 265 pounds... Hailing from Athens, Greece by way of Los Angeles, California.. ..

ALEXANDER! MEGALOOOOSSSSSS!

*CROWD CHEERS*

"Slick" Mick: To my left, the second challenger. He stands 6 feet 3 inches tall, weighing in tonight at 243 pounds... From Las Cruces, New Mexico... He is....

"THE BAD SEED!" RICH! PATTERSOOOOONN! !!

*LOUD BOOS!*


Slick Mick: AND THEIR OPPONENT, HAILING FROM TORONTO , ONTARIO CANADA ! HE WEIGHS IN AT A PERFECTLY TONED, TWO HUNDRED AND FORTY POUNDS. HE IS YOUR ICWF TELEVISION CHAMPION!! HEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRE IS.....

[CK takes off his sunglasses, hands them to the outside tenant before slowly taking un-strapping the title, holding it in the air then kissing the face plate. CK hands the title to the ref then stands in his corner, he ignorantly spits in the direction of Alexander. Megalos looks to tear CK's head off his throat, but he waits for the bell.]

*DING DING DING!*

[All 3 men circle the ring, each waiting for the others to attempt an attack.]

Gates: So Mr. "Professor," why don't you explain the rules of the match to everyone watching at home?

Brandon: Uh, sure of course. Just hang on a moment.

["Professor" Young ruffles around in his coat pocket for something. In the ring, CK Walker annoys Alexander Megalos, taunting him, as Rich Patterson sneaks up behind Walker. Walker notices him, and calls Megalos's mother a whore, or something, it's hard to hear, being a disembodied narration and all. It has the intended effect, as Megalos snaps and rushes Walker. Walker ducks and Megalos runs right into Patterson, clotheslining him down.]

Gates: Big clothesline by Megalos to start the match!

Casale: CK Walker already working inside the Greek chump's head.

Gates: Megalos does not look pleased. He's chasing Walker around the ring! Rich Patterson runs at Walker, but the Champ grabs the ropes and moves, and Patterson slams into Megalos with a flying forearm smash instead! Patterson and Megalos brawling!

[Patterson and Megalos trade punches as CK Walker stands off to the side smirking.]

Brandon: Okay, here we go.

Gates: Oh, do enlighten us, oh "professor."

Brandon: Okay, according to this car- I mean, my extreme knowledge of gimmick matches, in the Maker's Mark match, every three minutes a new name is chosen as the 'mark.' During that three minute period, only the mark can be pinned to win the match and the Title. The current 'mark,' is Rich Patterson, as seen by the little countdown timer on the Intensetron.

[Indeed, the camera shows a little countdown clock on the Intensetron, with "Patterson" next to it, counting down the three minutes.]

Gates: Patterson and Megalos brawl around the ring. CK Walker standing in that corner and is he? He is... He's slow-clapping.

Casale: The champ apparently liking what he sees.

Gates: So says you. Patterson and Megalos finally take notice. Both men stop and turn towards Walker...

[Walker smirks and taunts Megalos, which causes the big greek to rush him. Walker bails to the floor, but Megalos follows after, chasing him around the ring.]

"Professor" Young: Ruuun, Forrest! Ruuuuun!

Gates: Megalos chasing Walker all around the ring, Walker slides inside, ducks an oncoming Patterson, who gets floored by Megalos with a spear! Walker!

[Megalos spears Patterson down, and then EATS a shining wizard from CK Walker.]

Casale: The Champ going to work now!

Gates: Walker grabs Megalos by the head, and DDT's him... Onto Patterson!

[Patterson rolls around, clutching his stomach. Walker grabs Megalos and places him sitting up, then runs off the far ropes and grabs his neck, snapping it forward.]

Gates: Patterson back up, he rushes Walker but CK ducks and comes back with an eye gouge. Walker kicks Patterson in the gut and drops him with a T-bone suplex. Walker on fire here, so far.

Casale: As he should be, he's the Champ!

[Walker pulls Alexander Megalos up and sends him into a corner, then does the same with Patterson. He rushes in at Patterson and nails a handspring back elbow smash to the face. He taunts to the crowd, then runs at Megalos-]

Casale: NO!

[-Who catches him in mid-air and slams him down into a spinebuster~ ! Megalos pulls CK up and drops him with a back suplex. Megalos pulls Walker up into a suplex position and drops him chest-first against the ropes. Walker springs off and lands on the mat, curling into a ball.]


Gates: Watch out for Patterson!

[Rich Patterson rushes Alexander Megalos, but Megalos sees him coming and catches him, turning it into a powerslam! Megalos turns back towards Walker, but the champ quickly rolls out to the floor.]

Casale: The Champ knowing when to cut out of the game.

[Megalos glares at Walker, but turns around. He picks Patterson up and plants him with a powerbomb. He drops for the cover.]

Gates: It doesn't really matter here, because he's not the mark anyways!

Ref: 1!

[Patterson kicks out. Megalos drags him up for another powerbomb, but Patterson clutches onto the top rope.]

Casale: WALKER!

Gates: Megalos still trying for that powerbomb, Patterson holding onto the ropes for dear life. Wait a minute, Walker grabs Megalos foot! Megalos topples over. Patterson takes a swing at Walker through the ropes but CK backs off. Patterson goes back to Megalos. He pulls Megalos to his knees, and then DDT's him into the mat.

[Patterson sends Megalos to the ropes. He doubles Megalos over, then drives Megalos's face down onto his knee.]

"Professor" Young: Nice going, Triple P.

Gates: Triple wha?

"Professor" Young: Nevermind.

[BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ ZZZZZZZZ! ]

[New Mark: Alexander Megalos.]

[Megalos staggers back but doesn't fall off his feet. Patterson grabs him and drops into a jawbreaker. Megalos staggers again but still doesn't go off his feet.]

Gates: The big man stumbling, but he's staying on his feet. What composure.

Casale: Composure, shmomposure. You hit a tree hard enough, it always goes down.

[Rich Patterson grabs Megalos and leads him to the turnbuckle. He climbs up and grabs Megalos by the head as he sits on the top turnbuckle. Patterson jumps off into a spinning DDT.]

"Professor" Young: TIMBER!

Casale: Told ya!

[Patterson makes the cover.]

Ref: 1!

[CK WALKER dives off the ropes with a guillotine legdrop onto Patterson!]

Gates: Walker saves his title! Walker throws Patterson shoulder-first into the ringpost. Walker with the cover on Megalos!

Ref: 1!

[Megalos kicks out. Walker pulls him up and drops him with a fameasser. He grabs Patterson and sends right back into the ringpost. Walker then climbs up the turnbuckles. ]

Gates: ...He's using Rich Patterson as a standing board!

Casale: Genius!

[Walker climbs up, standing on Rich Patterson's shoulders as he's stuck in the ropes and Walker's weight. Walker climbs all the way to the top, and taunts the crowd.]

Gates: Megalos is back up. I don't think Ck notices...

[Indeed, he doesn't. So caught up in taunting the crowd, he hasn't noticed his hated enemy standing up, just waiting for him. Walker jumps into a moonsault... ]

Casale: OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW WWWWWW!!

[And Alexander Megalos catches him, dropping him into a piledriver.]

Gates: Megalos drags Walker up, and drops him into a powerbomb! He picks Walker up for another... connects! Going for a thir-OW!

[Megalos goes to pick Walker up for a third powerbomb, and as he's bent over, Patterson takes the opportunity to boot him in the FACE! Megalos crumples to the mat. Patteron goes for the cover.]

Ref: 1!

....NO!

[Walker breaks the pins. CK sends Patterson to the ropes. Patterson comes back and ducks the attack. He bounces off the other ropes and goes for a clothesline, but CK ducks. Patterson continues to the other ropes but CK follows. Patterson turns and walks into Walker who plants Patterson with a belly-to-belly brainbuster! ]

Gates: Walker with that Belly to belly brainbuster! CK turns around and gets waylayed by Alexander Megalos!

[Megalos drops Walker to the mat with a vicious lariat. Megalos plants Walker with a cradle piledriver. Rich Patterson comes at Megalos but he gets sent to the mat with another powerslam.]

Gates: Alexander Megalos cleaning house right now!

Casale: The champ's not phased.

[Megalos turns back to Walker and CK nails him with a low blow.]

Casale: HA! See?

Gates: Walker cheating, as usual.

[CK plants Megalos with an inverted neckbreaker, then goes for a pin.]

Ref: 1!

Casale: Did he get it?

Gates: I dunno, it's close.

"Professor" Young: He did not.

Gates: How the hell do you know?

"Professor" Young: I know, because I'm the Professor, and I... know stuff.

[New Mark: Rich Patterson.]

[Walker argues with the ref about the call. Patterson nails Walker with a german suplex outta nowhere!]

Gates: Uh huh, sure. I still have yet to see any credentials that give you the right to be out here!

[Patterson follows up with a flapjack spinebuster. Alexander Megalos rejoins the fray. Patterson sends CK heads into Megalos's stomach, a receipt for earlier.]

Casale: Ah, relax Gatesy. The kid- I mean, the "Professor's" alright.

Gates: He is not 'okay.' He's a little punk who has no business out here!

[Patterson grabs both Megalos and Walker by the head and crack both their skulls together. Patterson grabs both of them by the necks so he's standing in between each holding one of their heads in each arm, and flips over into a double neckbreaker. ]

"Professor" Young: Listen bit- I mean, 'good sir, I got every right to be out here as your sorry ass do- Whoa! That was kinda cool!

Gates: Patterson with a wicked double neck breaker there. Patterson pulls Megalos up and drags him to the corner. He's climbing to the top rope. Patterson locks his arms around Megalos's... Full nelson into a bulldog out of the corner!

"Professor" Young: I didn't know Adrian Tanner was in this match.

Gates: ....

"Professor" Young: I... mean, uh... I have no idea who that person is.

Gates: Riiiight.

"Professor" Young: Look, Gatesy. You wanna know how much stroke I have in this match?! Check it.

["Professor" Young pulls a remote control from under the desk.]

Gates: What... is that?

[Patterson sees walker struggling to his feet. He clips Walker in the shin, and then nails CK with a sitout piledriver.]

"Professor" Young: Just watch.

["Professor" Young presses a button on the remote.]

[BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ ZZZZZZZZZ! ]

[New Mark: Alexander Megalos.]

[Patterson sees the screen, and jumps onto Megalos.]

["Professor" Young hits the button again.]

Gates: .....

[Patterson looks on in shock. Then rushes to Walker.]

Gates: Oh COME ON!

[Rich Patterson is livid. So is everyone else in the arena. "Professor" Young doesn't seem to care.]

"Professor" Young: I HAVE. THE POWAHHHH!!!

["Professor" Young hits the button again. And again. And aga-]

*KA-CHUNK!*

[....And then the power in the arena DIES.]

Gates: ....WHAT DID YOU JUST DO?!!

"Professor" Young: ....Ah damn, Adrian warned me that would happen. My bad?

Gates: You. You... You... WE HAVE A MATCH GOING ON HERE, WITH NO LIGHTS! THANKS TO YOU!

"Professor" Young: Look, I said my bad, alright."

Gates: No, it is NOT 'alright!

Casale: ...Even I gotta agree with Gatesy, here, kid.

"Professor" Young: I'm fixin it, geeze! Hold on!

["Professor" Young hits the button a few hundred times more. Things happen in the ring too but we can't see them because Bra-"Professor" Young blew the lighting fuse.]

*KA-CHUNK!*

Gates: FINALLY!

[The lights come back on, showing Megalos standing over Walker and Patterson, who are laying ontop of each other.

[New Mark: CK Walker.]

Gates: Megalos with the cover~!!

Casale: ...On both of them!

Ref: 1!

...NO!

[Walker kicks out from under Patterson. Megalos rolls Patterson out of the way and beats his chest.]

Casale: Uh oh, spagettios!

Gates: Looks like it's time for the Glory of Sparta!

[Megalos turns Walker onto his stomach and nails him three times in the head. He reaches down with his right arm to grab Walker by the throat, but Walker grabs Megalos's arm, and turns over, locking into a triangle choke in lightning fashion.]

Gates: Triangle choke!

Casale: The Champ reversed the Glory of Sparta into a choke, and there's nothing the Chump can do about it!

"Professor" Young: Or the ref, for that mater.

[Walker has the choke locked in. Tight. Megalos is turning blue, but he doesn't tap, and it wouldn't matter if he did. The Mark is still Walke-]

[BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ ZZZZZZ]

[New Mark: Alexander Megalos]

"Professor" Young: Oh shit.

Gates: Megalos is turning BLUE! Someone's gotta stop thi- PATTERSON!

[Rich Patterson, back on his feet, takes a running start and kicks Walker in the head. That breaks the hold. Patterson wastes no time jumping on Megalos's prone form.]

Ref: 1!

[Walker breaks it up.Patterson head-buts Walker and CK stumbles back]

Gates: Patterson calling for the NLE!

[Walker stumbles around the ring trying to get his bearings after the headbut. He turns around, and Patterson scoops him up....]

"Professor" Young: DENIED!

[Walker slips behind him. Patterson turns around...]

Casale: REALITY CHECK!

[BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ]

[New Mark: Rich Patterson]

Gates: Walker dragging Rich up, pulling him over to the turnbuckle. Both men are feeling the effects of this match.

Casale: It's been a war, that's for sure.

Gates: Walker places Patterson on the top turnbuckle. He climbs up as well. CK hooking Patterson... Superplex, maybe?

Casale: Maybe NOT!

[Alexander Megalos clubs CK Walker in the back, halting his momentum. MEGALOS begins climbing the turnbuckle.]

Gates: This looks interesting. ..

[Megalos gets underneath Walker, who still has ahold of Patterson.]

"Professor" Young: Obligatory TOWAH OF LOONDOOOON SSSSPOOOOOTTTTTT! !!

*CRAAAAAAAAAAAAASHH HHH!*

Gates: Wow! All three men hit the mat after that awesome triple suplex!

"Professor" Young: Would it really be a 'triple' suplex, though?

Gates: What?

"Professor" Young: Well, Megalos planted Walker with a back suplex, while Walker nailed a superplex to Patterson. So, that's kinda a double suplex, with three people.

Gates: ....You have a point.

"Professor" Young: See, I'm not useless.

Gates: ...I didn't say that.

"Professor" Young: HEY!

Gates: ...You almost destroyed the lights in the entire arena!

"Professor Young: Not on purpose!

Gates: Riiight. Wow, funny enough, Alexander Megalos is the first to his feet. He's going for Patterson... Reverse DDT! Megalos with the cover!

Ref: 1!

Gates: NO! The timer runs out again.

[New Mark: Alexander Megalos.]

Casale: Aren't we like.... waaaaaaay past 30 minutes now?

"Professor" Young: Uh... probably. But hey, it's a big match, right? So, we need a winner.

Gates: Megalos is NOT happy. He's arguing with the ref, which is not a good idea.

Casale: WALKER!

[CK Walker grabs Alexander Megalos and rolls into a school-boy pin]

Ref: 1!

...NO!

[Megalos kicks out.]

Gates: Megalos is not pleased. He rushes Walker, but Walker ducks, and drop toe holds him into the ropes. Throat-first!

[CK Walker climbs to the top turnbuckle.]

Gates: Wow! Flying elbow to Megalos! Megalos's neck snaps off that middle rope too.

Casale: C'mon Champ!

[Walker covers.]

Ref: 1!

[Megalos gets a foot on the ropes.]

Casale: Walker is pissed!

Gates: Welcome to his opponents worlds. Walker stalking his rival, just waiting for him to get up now.....

[Megalos is stunned, hurting from the elbow drop/neck snap on the cables. Walked waits for him to get up, Megalos turns and CK nails him with the REALITY CHECK~!]

Gates: No!

Casale: YES! Walker retains!

Ref: 1!

Casale: WHAT?!

[Walker jumps to his feet, like he just won the World Series. But the ref explaining the Mark timer went off before 3. Walker is BESIDE HIMSELF. Shouting into the ref's face. He shoves the ref! The ref shoves back....

Walker gets shoved back, and walks into RICH PATTERSON!]

"Professor" Young: PATTERSON!

[As Walker backs up from the shove, he walks into Patterson who scoops him up and drops him into the tombstone piledriver! Patterson drops for the cover.]

Gates: NLE~!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!! !!!!!
