Hi all. I was wondering if anyone has tips and tricks for creating very large creatures. In particular, ones that can't be spawned in from a single lipocytic egg cell, and must reproduce by creating multicellular buds, or at the upper end, creating a new baby organism in nearly functional form on, or in, its own body then splitting it off from its umbilical. I'm imagining an organism with a complex sensory suite, a simple brain made of neurocytes to process the sensor info, independent limbs, stemocytes in waiting to repair damage, and the ability to see multiple colors in a way that allows it to discern members of its species from similarly-colored ones. I've even thought it might be able to store multiple genomes and reproduce them together. Anyone have experience in this area? Like on how to use reuse 20 modes for maybe 100-cell creatures? Thanks I didn't find the right solution from the internet. References: http://forum.cell-lab.net/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1738 2d animation |
