Magical Beings There are some creatures on Norkabrass not considered a race, but simply magical beings. Vampire: Vampires are pale, fanged, and thirsty for blood. Vampires can be nearly any race on Norkabrass. If a vampire sucks all of a victum's blood, the victum dies, but if they only drink some of it, the victumis infected and soon becomes a vampire. Despite popular believe, vampires cannot turn into bats, and although the sun hurts thier eyes, they will not turn to dust. Most Vampires, though, do have extreme allergies to garlic. Most vampires can pass off as a normal member of a race, so their could be an army of vampires in a seemingly safe area. Werewolf: Werewolves, like vampires, can be from almost any race. When a werewolf bites someone, the victum soon becomes a werewolf. Younger werewolves tend to transform every night, while older werewolves only change during full moons. Depending on the area, werewolves can turn from man to wolf, or turn from man into a "wolf-man" humanoid creature. Werewolves are weakened by silver. Genie: Genies are spiritual creatures that are imprisoned in a magical oil lamp. They are cursed to grant three wishes to whomever rubs their lamp. Legend says that there was once only one genie, a free one, who tricked people into wishing themselves into genies, and he then imprisoned them in lamps. Most genies are tricksters and twist the words of thier masters. Golem: Golems are figures made of stone, sand, or clay, brought to life by magic to serve a master. Depending on the spell used, a golem can either be intelligent, or mindless. Golems never stop growing, and over time, they become aggressive and rebelious toward their master. Golems are often used as soldiers in armies. Gargoyle: Gargoyles are a type of winged golem created to guard castles and buildings. They tend to be beastly and have fangs or canine teeth. Most gargoyles only awaken at night in order to stop night-time thieves. Edited by ZmanArt007, Aug 18 2009, 12:51 AM.
