Stephen Bowden, 46, and Steven Davidson, 27, were found guilty of violent disorder at Blackfriars Crown Court.

Their jail sentences have been suspended for two years and the pair were slapped with a four-year football match ban.

They were involved in a clash between Chelsea and Tottenham fans following an FA Cup quarter final in March last year.

It was described in court as a bloody fight using knives, broken bottles, baseball bats, pool cues and even an ice hockey stick.

Several fans were taken to hospital and 34 people were arrested at the scene.

The jury was shown CCTV images from an earlier point in the day when the first signs of disorder broke out.

Police were seen struggling with a large number of men as they confronted each other.

But it was later that evening, several hours after Chelsea's victory, that officers were called to a large disturbance outside the popular White Horse public house in Parsons Green.

Detective Sergeant Paul Mitchell, of Hammersmith and Fulham Police, said: "The level of violence used on the night was staggering.

"Around 100 men were involved in a pitched street battle involving a variety of weapons including knives and baseball bats.

"Several were taken to hospital with stab wounds and head injuries and we were lucky not to be dealing with a murder inquiry."
