A hamster wheel: it's the same wheel, no matter how many times you run in it, you never really get anywhere by running in it, but you're willing to run in it for hours and hours because it's so much fun. What's your hamster wheel? Mine would be Diablo 2; been through that game and back again on many occassions, and even now I'm playing it, just to see if I can get on the rankings on Battle.net. I like being able to take on hordes of foes and loot some crazy-ass treasure, storming caves, catacombs, tombs, cellars, and Hell itself all just to kick some ass and save the world...again...and again. |
