Scald wandered around on the beach. He had woke Elisha up, telling her that he was leaving to the beach to see if the other pack leader would come like he had asked. He wanted to talk. One of the werewolves of the loners was starting to become more powerful, making many friends on the island. It was causing serious problems. One of his pack members had died because of them. Although, it was leaving to become a mate with a loner female. That female had only tricked him into an ambush, killing him as soon as he stepped on the closest island. Scald had left swiftly before finding out if his mate wanted to come with him or not, not wanting to wait too long because that would cause questions. He walked on, going in circles waiting for her to show. He was slowly losing hope for this all together. He let out a howl and heard it answered by many. Edited by HaloCat, Mar 27 2010, 09:11 PM.

Adina had left Soul Canyon without any of the others knowing. Not even a single Mexican Wolf saw her pass through their territory. She finally trudged along the beach, snapping at seagulls when they flew too close. She lashed out, catching one's wing. It cried out right before she snapped its neck with one mighty paw. As she munched on the bird she thought about what reason the Mukesha Alpha would call her here. Would he try to kill her while she was alone? She shook her head, tearing off one last bit of flesh. She would face whatever challenges she encountered here. She wasn't the Akakios Alphess for nothing. She'd fought for this position, and would keep for as long as possible. Adina let out a small growl when she noticed the red werewolf. The yellow diamond on his forehead stood out the most. I nice memento from the last Mukesha leader. She absentmindedly started digging into the ground with her hind right paw, as she always did. A sign of her uneasiness. |

Elisha carefully exited Scald and her's den, making sure that she wasn't making much noise or something to draw attention to herself. Scald had woken her up, telling her that he was going to the beach to speak to another clan leader. He had left before she could say another word, but she didnt care much for it. He was always an independant guy, even though she was his mate. He was probably in a hurry to leave before anyone else saw him. So, not long after he left, Elisha followed at a cautious pace, making sure to stay back to be unnoticed by him. The person he was meeting was probably only expecting him. This business was careful, interacting with the other clans during a time like these. But he was the Alpha, and she didn't deny his intentions, whatever they may be. They had approached the beach finally, Elisha staying deep within the shadows. She hoped he would catch her scent briefly, knowing that it may be difficult with the way the wind was blowing. She gave a low whimper, hopefully letting him know that she was nearby in case things got ugly. A witness never hurt anyone. There it was though, a female figure a few ways away. From the look of Scald and the figure, they both looked uneasy, to a reason Elisha knew nothing of. This had to be secret and important business. But she was going to stick with her mate despite the danger or consequences. He was her love, and nothing could block that. |

Scald growled a bit as teh Akakios leader walked up the beach towards him. He stopped short though, knowing they would have to get along if they wanted to discuss what was on his mind. He walked up to her, giving a slight nod of his head, the most courtesy he would show tonight. Now. For the reason I called you here today. I have noticed strange happenings on the loner island. He stopped for a second, catching a familiar whiff, and then hearing a familiar whine. His mate was here, but he couldn't let Adina know that. One of my pack was killed, and a loner seems to be rising to power. I feel this can be a great danger, because we are the ones that throw them out of the packs. I think we need to stop this, and soon, or else our whole pack can be in serious danger. He looked her in the eyes, hoping she knew how serious this situation was. |

Adina nodded back to the Mukesha leader. A growl almost slipped out of her throat, and she coughed to hide it. This was neutral territory, and she had to be friendly, for the sake of her pack. A loner? Did he travel back here? This time she let the growl out, because it was not aimed at Scald, but at the idea of a loner on their island, killing their pack members. When I get my claws on him, I'll... This isn't good news, Scald. A powerful loner could unite the other loners and the banished wolves. We can't hold back that kind of uprising. Her voice was hushed, in case another werewolf or wolf wandered onto the beach and heard them. It was already an odd sight to see the two leaders like this. |

Elisha listened intently to their meeting, keeping every single word in mind. Of course, Scald and herself had discussed about this threat but hadn't taken much into consideration. They would need more support, and though going to other clans was something they rarely did, it was nice seeing a change. It did feel weird though to be in this female's presence, knowing their clans hadn't had the best of memories. She could see Scald's nose twitch. Good, he knew she was here. All she could do was keep in the shadows, hoping that the female didn't catch her scent and know her presence. That would only ruin things and she would probably accuse Scald for it when she came without his permission. They started discussing the threat about how the loner could bring together the other banished wolves. She knew exactly what that would mean; they would get extremely powerful and no doubt take revenge on the clan that forced them out. There hadn't been major uprises like this in the past; only minor ones but they would take care of the criminals quickly. This however, could get bad if they didn't take action soon. She wanted to join this meeting, voice her thoughts, but she couldn't risk that. Maybe she would get the chance to discuss it with Scald after this was over. |

Scald let out his own small growl as he thought about the island, all the loners. There were more loners on that island than there are in two clans combined. The thought was too much. They had to stop it, which ment also teaming up with the regular wolves. He was also unnerved because this female might sniff out Elisha any time. If she didn't hide better, or he didn't call her out, looking surprised, things might not turn out good. He had no way of telling her to hide, so he might as well call her out. She might bring in some good imput. Elisha, I can smell you. You should come out now, before things get worse. He gave a look that would seem stern to anyone else but him and Elisha. To Elisha, it was that "Good thing your with me, play yours cards right" type look. He gave that look to his pack often, whenever they were in a tight spot, or a fight. He let out a small growl, to add affect to his "displeasure" of Elisha being there. Well, if we ever want to bring these guys down, we are going to have to ask the other wolves for help. We can't fight them alone. Without waiting for an answer, but in a way waiting for one, his body started shifting as he got shorter, and his legs got thinner, as he started to bend towards the ground, and soon enough was a gray wolf standing there, looking up at the other pack leader. Shall we go? Oh, and my name is Scald. |

Adina let out a small growl when she heard Scald call out his mate. She had some odd dislike of other females being around her, and this surprise visit from Elisha did not help her nerves. Her foot dug deeper into the sand. You never said anything about your mate being here. She waited, then followed suit, shrinking as Scald had. Her normal wolf form was a black wolf, and her white streaks seemed to glow. Her earrings made ringing sounds as they shook during her change. My name is Adina. It's.... fortunate to meet you. Her subtle Russian accent slipped into her speech, and she cringed. She didn't like others knowing that she was indeed Russian. It was better if others knew less about her. |

Elisha could feel Scald's uneasiness. She rarely ever felt this from him, since he was such a strong werewolf, and there wasn't a time where he should show his emotions. If there was anyone who could read him best, it was Elisha. She knew everything about him and how he reacted to situations, and when he told her to come out before things got nasty, she did not hesitate. The other female started to get the drift that Elisha wasn't supposed to be there. After they both shrank to the natural form of a wolf, Elisha did the same and came into the open, standing beside Scald as he said his name. Her fur looked black in the moonlight. She was smaller than them both, and could feel herself tense a bit. The female said how she wasn't supposed to be there. Her name was Adina, she said. Elisha hoped her presence being there was fine. She considered herself in this just as much as Scald, being the Alphess and his mate. But if he wanted her to leave, she would. Excuse me for interrupting this meeting and intruding, Adina. I followed him, so he has nothing to do with me being here. It was my decision and if Scald wants me to leave, I will not hesitate. But I do believe my intelligence will help under these circumstances. My name is Elisha, by the way. |

Scald shook his furry head and discarded the accent in Adina's voice. When Elisha came out in her wolf form, he couldn't help but mentaly marvel her all over again. I wont be asking you to leave tonight. You deserve to be here as much as Adina and I do, you are the alphess of a clan, and my mate. He looked Adina in the eye, hoping she knew that Elisha wouldn't try anything. He nodded in the direction of the nearest pack land. The Arctic wolves. Shall we get going? We don't have much time to lose. |

Adina nodded at Elisha. She was still uneasy, and felt out-numbered. She had no mate, and having both alphas from the rival pack was unnerving to say the least. If they attacked, she would be killed quickly. I do not like having your mate here Scald, but I will respect your wishes, for now. One wrong move though, and I strike first. She turned away and slowly made her way down the beach. She wasn't well acquainted with the Arctic pack, and wondered if Scald was. It would be easy enough for him to run down the beach and talk to other pack leaders. Adina shrugged off the questions in her head. This was no time to doubt Scald, or anyone else for that matter. |
