ok here is me Grandaris fixing this :)

basicly there are 9 diffrent class and 10 different races in World Of Warcraft.

Class:
paladin, warlock, hunter, mage, priest , warrior, druid, shamon, and rouge.

Races:
human, dwarf, night elf, gnome, orc, troll, taruan, blood elfs, and drainei

each race can only have charators(or toons) of certain class's.

for examlpe:
dwarfs can only create toons from priests, rouges, paladins, warriors, and hunters.
