Tyrant

Hi all, Just thought I would introduce myself, as I have been searching for a forum to discuss the Tyrant's Legion for a while and have finally been dorected to one (thanks 1000heathens). I am from Canberra, Australia, and used to play Black Templar and have recently completed my Imperial Guard (both around 10k). A while ago I got access to the Tyrant's Legion list and though it would be cool to modify both my armies so that they could be used as a Tyrant's list, which I have now done. Whilst I am not embracing the chaotic nature which eventually took the Tyrant, my Black Templar Crusade is definitely falling from favour within the Imperium at a rapid rate. I prefer to picture my Crusade/Tyrant Legion as a force which has been cut off form the Imperium for an extended period and is now using any and all means to ensure their Crusade is fulfilled, including taking command of the perviously allied Imperial Guard, Naval and Titan force. I am at work at the moment and so cant post pictures, but I will be sure to start a modeling diary thread with the evolving combination of my IG and BT into my new Tyrant's list. cheers Dono |

I tend to remember things off the top of my head as opposed to checking, so please excuse and correct any official fluff mistakes I make. A lot of it also personal interpretation and theory, so feel free to disagree as well, I won't mind | |

Welcome! Now sign up for Khorne! Why would a black templar (loyal or not) want to team up with sorcerers? Surely they'd side with the god who emphasis is martial skill and bravery in battle.
I like this idea! Do you mind if I use it? |

More than welcome to suing the idea, I am pretty sure I wouldn't have been the first to use it. Although pushing the Black Templar to the edge of being a Loyalist Chapter and then stepping over the edge in traitor might be a little out of the norm! As for the gods, I suspect the only logical one would be Khorne, you are right, no Sorcerers for me! Which was one of the main reasons I went with the Tyrant's Legion, it kept it in line with the original Black Templar ethos of burn the witches! -Dono |
