Which Chapter would you use and what dex? Myself Either Black Templars or Marines Malevolent with the templar and vanilla dex respectively. |

Black Templars all the way But I do love my current vanilla codex wielding crusade force of about five or six different chapters (so far) with various units from each. For example, I have several Lords of Shadow marines profilerated throughout my force, with a Red Lords tactical squad, a White Hands assault squad, a demi-squad of Emperor's Tears assault marines, etc, etc, etc...

I tend to remember things off the top of my head as opposed to checking, so please excuse and correct any official fluff mistakes I make. A lot of it also personal interpretation and theory, so feel free to disagree as well, I won't mind | |

We are Death, the bringers of despair.

I've spent many an hour dreaming of making a pre-heresy Thousand Sons force, using Codex: Grey Knights. Failing that, I'd most likely create my own. I'd probably end up using the generic book for that one, though. EDIT; I forgot about how much I dig the Exorcists, so they'd have to be considered. Edited by Araziel, Jun 9 2012, 09:34 PM.

Probably. I haven't payed attention to the Imperial codices since around 2009, so I'm ignorant of what advantages and disadvantages the various flavors have. |

My loyalist army is Marines Malevolent with C:SM. Fun, fun army. Black and yellow psychopaths = happiness. If I ever did another (my Astral Claws don't count ), I'd probably go for White Scars with C:SM, and piss everyone off by NOT sculpting Fu Manchu's on any of my mini's. Instead, I'd go for a Native American style army. Hey, Chogoris is a big planet with varied terrain.... anything's possible.

I'd make Astral Claws, no doubt. Coolest loyalist paint scheme ever. |

Well...kinda. At this point my Astral Claws history, they're more rebels that anything. Still in that grey area between heaven and hell. |
