Okay, I am feeling really, REALLY overwhelmed with all this. I want to get involved but the guides are extremely basic and don't do much to help. First, with the military organization, it would be really helpful if I could see an example of an organized military. Trying to ask people can be really hit or miss because sometimes they answer the question, other times the questions gets burried under somebody spamming a nation name. Or sometimes I'll be told to contact somebody and they don't respond or if they do, you don't even know what questions to ask. I wish people would realize that this game requires a pretty extensive amount of knowledge to begin and if you don't already have that knowledge, you have to get it. I would really love a newbie guide that would explain to me (in detail) what I should be doing for the first few days. I'm two days into this and all I've managed to figure out is that Israel has managed to waste a month already. Please just try to remember what it was like when you first started. I really like the concept of this game and it would be a shame to lose a player out of frustration. |

Hello and welcome to the board. First I would like to point out a few things. 1) We do not like to keep "noobs". Noobs are those who know the rules, but break them on purpose to cause problems for the game. However, we do welcome "newbs". Which are obviously new players to the game. 2) Did you at any point contact an avatar for help rather than playing hit and miss with the other players? They all have their own strategies on how they do their daily business and it can be quite frustrating. 3) You picked out a nation that requires some knowledge of how the game works. It probably would of been best for you to put a less signficant nation to get the hang of how things work and then move into a nation like Isreal. Especially when it comes to the military aspect of the game and a country like Isreal has a big Armed Forces. However, we will do our best to work with you and expand your knowledge of the game to bring you up to speed and less overwhelmed. As for newbie guides I will talk amongst the other staff and see what we can do about more detailed guides if possible. I will also see about posting a more detailed example of a nations OOB. So that way you get a better idea of what your doing. If you would like (its your choice of course) we can assign you to a different nation until you get the hang of things and the rules and then gradually move you back into a nation like Isreal or a nation that requires some knowledge. Either way we will do our best to work with you. Lastly, I would like to apoligize for your frustrations, that is definitely not our intent. I remember when I first started as well. It was overwhelming at first, but with the proper guidance you will get the hang of it quickly. |

MichaelMartin, On behalf of the NetNations Staff, I would like to welcome you to the game. We are glad to have ysuch an interested newcomer on board. First, and most importantly I would like to thank you for asking your questions. As for Israel being tough and all of that, I agree, but we'll get you set very soon so that you can play Israel or any nation, regardless of how new you are. I will be developing a Newbie Guide today, and will have it released later tonight, hopefully, for you and others to look at and read. If you have any specific questions in the meantime, or afterward, I will be more than happy to help you. Please PM me any questions, or contact me on MSN at: mhunter09@gmail.com or Skype at: matthewhunter09. Thanks, and welcome onboard! Matt Hunter NetNations Newcomer Assistance Liaison |
