The Republic will like to accept this invitation, although only our President, George Maximillian is able to attend due to the Prime Minister being tied up in other works.

The Office of the Steward of Mide acknowledged the gracious refusals and expressed it's ope that those governments could attend future balls.

The private yacht of the Earl of Ulster, the HES Lord Donnacha (in actuality a luxury cruise liner), sailed firstly to Sturmvolk where it embarked Lord Aston von Hohenfels and his entourage. Welcomed by their escort Captain the Viscount Down, CN, Lord Aston was appointed a stateroom after being piped aboard.

Sailing onwards to Athlonia High Minister Theodore Smith and a small grouping of foreign ministry civilian servants were quartered aboard for the short journey to the neighbouring Republic of Renaissance Dominion where President George Maximillian was shown the full honours due to a Head of State.

On a similar route the HES Lord O'Neil docked in Calarius to transport the imperial representatives, Lord and Lady Iaroc Caledonensis of Ivea, and General Ogledd Aneurin of the Western Goddodin, to Mide as guests of the Commonwealth.

The final voyage was undertaken by the HES Lady Foley which docked in the La République Démocratique de Lanaudière where Foreign Minister Madame Angélique-Thérèse Desnoyers joined the Captain's Table on the trip down to the Federated States of Lumecia where a junior delegation of representatives embarked for the final journey to the Commonwealth.

The 3 yachts - personnal conveyances of the Lords of the Isles - timed their voyages to enter Mide Harbour at the same time, which were soon joined by pleasure boaters following the yachts in and presenting an unusual spectacle to the foreign guests onboard.

It has been reported that the various dignitaries were greeted by carriages which conveyed them to the Ritz Hotel, the Commonwealth's finest, where they are resting after their long voyage, and preparing for the Red Ball in several days time.
