Jin was lying in bed, in and out of consciousness. He stirred for a few moments, then promptly went stiff. This process went on for at least two hours before he finally awoke, and when he did, he felt groggy and tired. The same dream had been occurring every night for the past week and a half, yet he could never recall it in its entirety that well after he would wake up. Something involving a sinister looking dragon and a glowing object is all he could remember. As he lie awake in bed, he stared blankly at the pale ceiling above him, reflecting on the dream.

The sun blared through the single window to his left and cast a rather large beam of light onto his black bed spread. Dust was easily visible in the light and gave the room a slightly eerie mood since everything else in the room was black as well, except for the white walls plastered with posters of famous ninja like the legendary Sannin.

Jin laid in bed for a good five more minutes before actually deciding to move from his bed and onto the chilled hardwood floor of his room. He shivered a bit before sluggishly moving to his closet at the back of the room from which he grabbed his daily garb. He yawned sheepishly and quickly dressed himself. "Jin, are you ready for the day?" A female voice called from beyond his room's walls.

"No, not yet mom..." He yawned again.

"Well hurry up! Your father's been waiting for you. He said he needs to talk to you about something."

"Something like what?" There was an air of fear to his voice as it trembled slightly on the last word. His mind ran through the possibilities of what it could be his father wanted. 'Can't be my grades...I'm acing everything...' He thought. 'Oh..crap...what if it's about that tree I accidentally set on fire in the backyard a few days ago! I know I covered it up right...didn't I...or...damn...'

"I don't know... you'll find out soon enough I guess."

"Ok, I'm coming...." Jin dragged himself out of his comfortable room, down the dim hallway that connected that part of the house with the main part of the house, and into the grand living of the house, where his mother was quietly seated at the table in the middle of the room. She looked to be in her mid to later 20s, but still had the air of a teenage girl. Her hair was bright red, long, and silky and her eyes a luminous emerald green. She cocked a smile to her unnerved son and motioned him to go out the front door.

"Don't just stand there, Jin. Get moving. I'm not helping you out there." Jin sighed and proceeded to the oak door that was the main entrance to his home. He slid it gently open, but not all the way. He could see his father standing motionless some feet away from the door. Jin watched him, trying to guess what type of mood he was in, but failed to get anything since his back was turned to him. Then his father suddenly turned his head to the side and look dead at him through the cracked opening.

"Jin? Are you going to come out or not?" His father spoke in an even, unwavering tone, which further puzzled Jin. There was no way to ascertain his father's mood, so he sighed again in defeat. He fully opened the door and stepped outside onto the soft dirt path in front of the door. The air was chilled to a degree and Jin shivered. It was early morning, around 7 AM, and he was outside, in the cold, probably about to be scolded. He crept over to his father and looked up at him. The man's hair was wild and black. His eyes, a deep shade of violet, looked straight ahead, as if looking into a far off abyss.

"Err...hey dad..." Jin said nervously. "What's up....?"

"You've been having a recurring dream haven't you? One with a black dragon right?" Des spoke without facing his son, just looking ahead.

"Uhh...yeah. How'd you know?" Jin was puzzled. Could his father see into his dreams? Or even worse, read his mind?!

"You're about that age, Jin. Where a Kanefura's ancestral blood begins to stir and your powers awaken. Your Jitenkokugan is beginning to awaken, Jin."

"My...my what?! " Des sighed at his son's ignorance.

"Jitenkokugan, Jin. The inherit trait of all Kanefura. The ability to become one with the black dragon. We've discussed this before. Have you forgotten?"

"Err no...I was just surprised." He lied. He had forgotten almost everything about his clan's heritage over the past few months. "So ...when can I use it?"

"It will activate when the time is right. After that, you'll be training with me again to hone your abilities. And, after that, you're on your own."

"Ummm, alright...is that all you wanted to talk to me about?"

"I would say that's about it. Though I'm wondering who was the one who damaged one of the trees in the backyard...Jin." Jin flinched.

"Ahahaha, yeah about that...well...uhh..gotta run!" Jin darted off from their property and headed towards the Ninja Academy, with a guilty look on his face and a bit of fear in his heart.

Shadow’s eyes jolted open, carefully observing her surroundings. She was alert, too alert. Sleep always evaded her on account of her fear that someone would pass by and notice her. It was necessary for her to stay hidden, even if it meant sleeping under bridges and in forests, inside dumpsters and even in ditches. She didn’t want anyone to find her. Out of sight and out of mind. That was her way of life.
She quickly rose to her feet, dusting off the usual daily grime. Beside her, only a small sack of clothes, two kunai knives, and some spare change were visible. It was all she had and all she needed.

Today was another day blending in, of trying to be a decent Genin. That was her whole reason for ever leaving her lonely country home. Her guardians had passed almost a year earlier, and afterwords she had confined and starved herself ,calmly awaiting death, so she could join them in the afterlife. However, something had persuaded her otherwise. Whatever that 'thing' inside her was, be it hope, optimism, ignorance, or insanity, it brought her to the Leaf Village to train as a ninja. She walked casually to the academy steps.

Timidly walking through the doors, Shadow was proud of how invisible she was to the village members. Even her sensei would forget her name from time to time. It would only make it easier in the event she were to disappear.

But now she had a new conflict, Squad nine. She grimaced at the thought. No one must know, she thought fearfully about her hazy past. She understood being a Genin meant pairing in squads and completing missions together with others, but refused to submit to modern social standards. It was just her way. Besides, friendship was a luxury she wanted desperately but knew she didn’t deserve. She deprived herself the treasure for the simple fact she knew it would be almost sinful for her to taste it.

Keeping to herself, Shadow found her way to a corner, sinking down to her knees. She was skilled, true, but didn’t think much of the fact. She could be better, but had to deal with the face she knew nothing about how to completely control herself. Random visions, strange voices, mind reading, it was far better for her to just try to get by without even considering whatever bloodline gifts she may have had.

Moaning, she contemplated her next concern. Two other students she would have to become close to. She kept to herself the entire year and still was unsure of what anyone’s name was. These students had lived together in the village for their whole lives. They had mothers, fathers, siblings, uncles, aunts, grandparents; they could probably trace their ancestors back to the very founding of the village. But she was an outsider, a stray that had wandered into their perfect world.

She chuckled cheerfully to herself. No use beating myself up again. She thought, and her eyes started to observe the students moving about the halls. Concentrating, she began to practice reading the simple minds of the clueless students around her, all the while trying to remember the name and faces of those two kids on her squad.

"Gahh he knows....I'm so screwed when I get back home." Jin sighed depressingly and dragged himself inside the Ninja Academy. Having just recently graduated, this was the last time he would have to come here for a nice long time. He sighed again and lifted his head up slightly so to take a look around the place. There where a handful of new Gennin running about, greeting friends, meeting their new teammates and the like. Everyone looked like they were enjoying themselves for the most part, which reminded Jin as to why he actually needed to come here in the first place, to meet his new squad mates.

When his graduating class was assigned their respective squads, Jin didn't bother to stick around to find out who was exactly was supposed to be in it. He only had two names to go off of, Shadow and Zara, which he received in the mail the previous day. Shadow appeared to not have any familial ties, so Jin figured that person would be the most difficult to find having no distinct family traits he could recognize, but Zara was an Inuzuka so they should have brown hair and a dog with them. Being how he is, he chose to find the more difficult person first.

Jin spent the better part of an hour greeting people and asking for names. With all the people there, he thought he would at least find the Inuzuka, but he didn't. He started to wonder if they had already left having waited for him at the Academy. He sighed and walked over to a nearby wall and slumped down. He looked up at the people who were still inside socializing then looked to his sides, then something suddenly caught his eye. There was a girl, positioned in the corner near him, only a few feet away. She seemed to be concentrating very intently on something, or meditating. Having asked everyone else in the room if they where his squad mate, he might as well ask her as well, so he stood up and made his way over to her.

Now there was a problem, getting her attention. He didn't really want to disturb the girl, and if it turned out she wasn't one of his squad mates, then he would just have been a nuisance. He opened his mouth to say something, but closed it soon after and instead crouched down by the girl and whispered in her ear, "Are you, possibly, Shadow Shizo of Team 9?"

Shadow strolled casually through thoughts, amused with some things, disturbed by others. The human mind was a sick thing to surf through. She was glad she wouldn’t have to be around this place much longer. School was a breading ground for thoughts and feelings she would rather not encounter. Of all insecure and mentally unstable places, school was the mighty jungle. Shadow relaxed more. Her insomnia was catching up to her. Her eyelids began to loosely shield her tired eyes. (Gahh he knows....I'm so screwed when I get back home.) Shadow’s eye’s sprung open so quickly, it was painful. Never had she encountered a voice so clear in her head as the one she’d just read. She quickly began searching for its source, but the thoughts of others clouded her all at once. Quickly she deactivated her mind reading, relaxing from the draining efforts. Mind reading was no easy task. It often left her fatigued if she concentrated too long or hard.

Shadow decided to reactivate it after a few minutes, in order to regenerate some energy. She figured napping in the hall would be easy enough. Nobody noticed her when she was awake, why would they notice her asleep? (Shadow has no family ties; I figure she will be the more difficult one to find.) Yet again Shadow’s body shocked back to alertness. She was certain she had deactivated her readings. Even then she could feel her mental power regenerating inside her. But who's ever voice this was, it was clear and almost effortless to pick up.

Someone is searching for me. Shadow’s thoughts raced. Clearly this had to be one of her teammates. The only problem was the voice. The clear and effortless frequencies of thoughts that seemed to flow into her mind.

I only wish to read minds of my own will. If this person is on my team, then it would be an annoyance to hear every idea that comes across his mind. Not to mention the fact that he would probably find it an invasion of privacy. Shadow clasped her eyes tightly, trying to concentrate on something, anything that would drown out the clear thoughts penetrating into her mind. So intent on blocking out the sounds, she didn’t notice a boy crouching down beside her, whispering in her ear.

“Are you perhaps Shadow Shizo, of squad nine?” Jin asked.

The voice is so loud and even clearer now. As if the person were standing next to me! Shadow complained. I can even feel the sound resonating in my ear.

“Are you perhaps Shadow Shizo, of squad nine?” Jin repeated.

Shadow’s eyes opened, her head quickly snapping to the side as she realized a boy with deep indigo eyes and crimson bangs staring at her. For the first time in a long time, she wasn’t invisible anymore. Shadow, completely caught off guard, hated it.

Submitting to social standards was never quite Shadow’s forte, and being surprised only made matters worse. Adding in the boy’s close proximity and the fact that she was unintentionally reading his thoughts, Shadow instantly longed to truly become invisible. As she helplessly racked her brain for some sort of response, their eye’s seemed to be locked in an inner battle. Jin wanted a simple answer, and Shadow wanted to vaporize into nothing.

With Shadow’s face turned an odd shade of reddish purple. In a desperate attempt to formulate a response, she had forgotten to breathe completely. Convinced that the boy in front of her considered her a complete loon, she squeaked out a response.

“Yes I am.” Her babyish voice finally found its way out, coarse and unused. The room seemed to spin, her brain forcefully screamed BREATHE! But all efforts were futile. As the words left her lips, her head slumped forward and vision blurred.

Surprised, Jin leaned back and his eyes widened. "Really? Ahhh what a relief..." Jin sighed yet another time, but this time it was a sigh of relief. He still had to find his other squad mate however, but that shouldn't be all that difficult, they were an Inuzuka after all. "So you're Shadow Shizo huh? Oh, sorry, my apologies. I'm Jinsei Kanefura. Though I just go by Jin.... Hey, you ok?" Jin had noticed earlier that the girl had turned an unusual shade of purple moments before, then became silent after affirming her identity. Her head dropped forward, and she was quiet. Jin gave Shadow a gentle nudge. "Hey...you..." He leaned closer to her and noticed that there was no sign of breathing. Damn...what the hell did I do?. He nudged her again and received no response. Ahh shit...I gotta do something quick, but what?!. Jin's mind was racing. He had just confirmed one of his squad mates, and now she was suddenly unconscious. She wasn't breathing...so that left only one option. CPR. Aww hell....I hope she forgives me for this later. But there's too many damn people in here....and their probably think I'm a kidnapper or something if I take her out of here...gahh... but if I stay here...screw it...
Jin quickly stood and hoisted Shadow onto his back and carried her off to an empty classroom. He gently laid her down on the floor and checked again to see if she still wasn't breathing, which she wasn't. He sighed again, looked around the classroom and then down at her. Here goes.... Jin lowered his face just above Shadow's and gently pinched her nostrils shut and....

What the hell is going on? Shadow’s head pulsed painfully. Great, this kid probably thinks I’m a freak… wait… I am a freak… damn. Shadow dizzily tried to regain consciousness. (Damn...what the hell did I do?). She felt a nudge at her side. (Ahh shit...I gotta do something quick, but what?!.) Shadow couldn’t believe the voice was still clearly transmitting, even though she herself was knocked out.

(Aww hell....I hope she forgives me for this later) Shadow slowly drifted closer so consciousness. Forgive who for what? She wondered. Suddenly she felt lifted. Something was happening. She began concentrating on breathing. Calm down. She ordered herself. You need to show more control, you are a ninja. There is nothing about this boy you cannot handle.

Suddenly Shadow felt a pleasant sensation on her lips, followed by a flame erupting into her mouth and down her esophagus. What the hell! Shadow jolted awake, face to face with Jin.

“Erm…” Jin stared at her, his fingers still pinching her nose and his lips still pressed against hers. “ I can explain…” he started nervously.
Omigod what is this pervert doing to me! My first kiss! Shadow wailed in her head.

“Hey it wasn’t a kiss, I was trying to save your life and I’m not a pervert so…” he stopped suddenly. “Wait, how did you say that without moving your mouth?”

What is he talking about, I haven’t said anything. Shadow thought angrily,

“Yes you did!” Jin responded “you…” he stopped. “Am I reading your mind?”
This is too weird, even for me. Shadow’s mind cried. Quickly she stood up, attempting to run. Dizzy from being unconscious, she stumbled over Jin and fell face first on the floor.

“Let me help you.” Jin tried to lift her again. “ You just passed out, you shouldn’t move.” He attempted to lift her on his back. “ I’ll take you home. Where do you…”
Quickly, Shadow’s mind hissed wildly, and she sprang out of the room, leaving Jin confused behind her

Shadow contemplated her day as she returned to the outskirts of town. She picked up her bags and proceeded to find another place to sleep for the night, and maybe a rabbit to kill and cook. She indeed was flustered by the events of the day, but she knew four things for sure. One, something about this Jin kid was linking to her mindreading abilities almost effortlessly. Two, that same thing was giving him the ability to hear her thoughts just as easily.Three, she was no longer invisible. She existed to this one person, and because of this, she could see herself in potential danger. And forth, she had ran away on the first day of her ninja career, and was probably gonna get hell for it later.

(( I'm gonna be lazy now lol))

Just as Shadow came to, she sprang into action and accused Jin of kissing her. Which eh kind of did, more or less. She was extremely flustered. Thopugh some thing peculiar happened after she regained consciousness, Jin "heard" her thoughts. He was highly confused and before he could ask any questions, she had fled from the building, apparently in extreme embarrassment.
'
Jin just stood there for a long while after she left in silence, and his left eye twitched. "What the hell was that all about?!" he finally shouted. He then gather his thoughts, shook his head, and left the empty classroom. Since he had already found Shadow, with questionable results, it was now time to go search for the Inuzuka. Though he didn't have to look very far because after leaving the room, he was approached by a girl with dark brown hair and eyes, blue triangular face markings, and a black and gray puppy on her shoulder. She stared at him for a few moments, then looked past him into the empty classroom, then back at him again.

"Oi, what were you doing in there with that girl that made her run out of there like that?"

"Err...it's complicated...I wasn't molesting her or anything like that if that's what you were thinking by the way. " A dignified look crossed Jin's face.

"Right, of course you weren't..." He small dog barked in agreement.

"What?! I'm telling the truth here! Really...why am I trying to justify myself to you anyway? Who are you?" His face showed visual signs of irritation.

"Umm I'm Zara Inuzuka..." the small dog barked again, this time to draw attention to itself. "Oh and this is Tala, my partner...and I'm guessing you're Jinsei Kanefura right?"

"Uhh yeah, how'd you kknow?"

"Some of us actually do a bit of research on their classmates to know a bit about potential squad mates...which you seem to have failed to do...." She flicked a bit of her from her left eye and sighed. "And that was Shadow right? Great job on that...."

"Ahhh...errr...damn..." Jin admitted to his failure. "Yeah that was Shadow, I dunno what happened but...odd things happened and I ended having to give her CPR."

"Well then..." Zara walked up to Jin and sniffed the air just in front of Jin's lips, which caused him to blush slightly. "Good thing her scent is still on you, we can go find her."

"You know I did carry her on my back, couldn't you have sniffed another place or something?!"

"Nahh it's more fun making you uncomfortable." Jin sighed. "Now let''s go find her."

"Right then..."

Shadow stopped moving and just stared angrily at the ground for a while. All of the thoughts were jumbled in her mind. I'll just have to learn to deal with it. She decided finally. The boy is on my team and I'll just have to reason with him. She thought of confronting him. Hello, erm, what's your name again? I'm sorry for accusing you of being a perve and somehow fusing our minds together and oh by the way since you're in my mind you may as well know I'm some freak demon monster thingy with these weird uncontrolled abilities. She sighed and allowed her body to slump to the dusty earth. As her usual depressing thoughts plagued her mind, she closed her eyes, falling gently into slumber's grasp.

She could feel her subconscious take over, her body relaxed, and she felt almost as if she was being coaxed out of reality. It was a soothing sensation. Just as she began to submit to the serene feeling, she was stuck with yet another unfamiliar sensation, something rough and slimy brushing her right cheek. She could hear people conversating over her.

"Is she okay? Do you think she's unconscious again?" a male voice asked.

"Naw, she's just asleep. Did you wanna give her mouth to mouth again or something?" a female responded skeptically

"No!" the voice objected.

At the sound of the voices, Shadow snapped to alert. quickly her eyes darted open and she propelled herself up from the ground, crouching in a defensive position, a kunai secured in her right hand and her left hand in a parallel blocking fashion. In front of her Jin and Zara looked at her, confused.

(What is she doing?) Jin thought

You two scared me! Shadow thought angrily. How did you find me?

( Our partner is a Inuzuka, they have keen senses of smell and other fine tuned instincts. They are a pretty well known family and... oh, i forgot you aren't from around here. what are you doing out here anyway?)

That's none of your business!

(Well you are acting strange!)

Maybe I am strange!

( I was just trying to help you!)

Nobody asked you to!

(you passed out on the floor!)

Only because your thoughts were invading my mind.

(Well your's were invading mine.)

I didn't want any of this to happen! I can't control this.

(you mean you've done this before?)

I can't possibly explain any of this to you!

(Why not?)

You just wouldn't understand.

(Try me?)

Butt out!

Zara turned her attention from Jin to Shadow, confused.

"So are you two just gonna stare at each other angrily, or what?" She asked.

"Oh! We've been talking in our minds this whole time?" Jin spoke finally. " I hadn't noticed."

"Huh?" Zara asked.

"He meant," Shadow advanced quickly. " he meant that we were both thinking about what to say to each other after our awkward encounter."

(What?) Jin thought.

Don't tell anyone! Shadow ordered.

(Why?)

The less people who know the better! If more people know, they'll ask questions, questions I can't even dream of answering.

(Then a compromise, you cooperate with me, and I'll keep your secret)

I'll kill you if you tell anyone.

(Doesn't matter, I'd see you coming no matter what you were planning, you'd give yourself away every time.)

Why are you so difficult!

"You two are staring at each other again." Zara complained. " I can't stand sitting around being ignored and whatnot." her dog Tala barked in agreement. " So I'm gonna start asking questions." she pointed at Shadow accusingly. " I did a bit of research on you, and not much came up. You traveled here on your own just long enough to enroll into our academy. Most of these kids have been training to be ninja since preschool, so you were given a test to see if you could be placed with children in your age demographic. you passed with flying colors."

"You are good with research." Shadow acknowledged nervously.

" Very, and I'm not quite done." Zara crossed her arms. " I was curious about you, and after I got my squad listing in the mail, I wanted to meet you first. That's when I discovered you don't have an housing address."

"Well I move from place to place alot..." Shadow tried to defend herself.

"Because you are homeless." Zara reported, watching Shadow wince in embarrassment. " I guessed that, and judging by your reaction, it's true."

" what?" Jin exclaimed. " you don't have anyplace to live!"

" She was given forms for an apartment, she never filled them out."

" I like the outdoors, it's like intense training. You don't have a house when your on a mission." Shadow defended

(Really now?) Jin thought sarcastically.

Apartments mean nosy neighbors who like to inquire about why a thirteen year old girl is living by herself, I wanted to avoid detection.

(Just because you are a mind reader and you don't want anyone to find out? I think you are self-conscious and paranoid.)

It's not just that!

"So here's what I gathered," Zara pointed at Shadow. " You are very strange." she turns to Jin. "And you are a perve. I'll admit, you two might not be the smartest partners around, but you are interesting. Tala and I will be sure to keep close watch over you."

Close watch! Not if I can help it! Shadow thought, forgetting Jin could hear her. I can run to any old village to become a ninja, I don't have to stay...

(Yes you do! If you run I swear I'll tell!)

But...

" So for my final question, what happens next?" Zara asked impatiently. " We ran after Shadow, so we missed meeting our sensei. The academy is gonna close it's doors soon." she glanced at the setting sun casting it's purple haze in the sky. "Oh, and another question, who's house do you wanna stay at?"

"EHHHH?!" Shadow gasped. Zara's words were like a swift jab to Shadow's gut, expelling all her air and leaving her breathless. she was dumbfounded.

" well you don't expect us to just let you continue living who knows where." Zara laughed. " Besides, it will give me more time to research you."

Well, I'd hate being 'researched', but it would give me time to plan an escape. Shadow began thinking. wait! No!

"I'll take her." Jin offered quickly. (That way you can't run off!)

"But! But! But!" Shadow began to stammer idiotically as Zara nodded.

" Whatever, just make sure you both are at the academy steps early tomorrow, out sensei will be angry enough as it is." Zara took Shadow's hand playfully. "my name is Zara, by the way, and this is my partner Tala." Tala barked in agreement. " it was a... pleasure meeting you."

"But! But! But! But!" Shadow stammered awkwardly as she shook Zara's hand.

(Oh crap! What did I get myself into?) Jin whined in his mind.

"Boy, you both look slow and confused." Zara laughed as Shadow fell to her knees and Jin scratched his troubled head. " I'll help you." Zara offered as she grabbed one of Shadow's arms, amused.

Jin followed suit, taking the other arm and lifting Shadow. It's bad enough I burnt that tree, how am I supposed to explain this to my father? Jin sulked, still confused, as he and Zara dragged the stammering Shadow to Jin's home, Tala barking behind them.

Ahh what a predicament this is...Wait crap...I can't think around her or she'll hear me....but I can''t "not" think... Jin sighed and Zara looked over at him with a curious look on her face.

"What's the problem?"

"Err..stuff..."

"That's specific. Mind telling me what type of stuff is bothering you?"

"You better not tell her, Jin....or else. It's bad enough as it is." Shadow gave Jin a menacing glare, which in turn made Jin flinch a little. This indeed was a predicament.

"It's nothing ok...family stuff. Private. That type of thing." He spoke quick with small breaks between each sentence.

"Okay..." Zara looked to Jin and then to Shadow. "You two are quite odd...well I guess this means we're going to have any interesting relationship aren't we?"

"Ya got that right..." Jin and Shadow said in unison. Zara raised her eyebrow and laughed. They walked in awkward silence after this. The sun was beginning to set just as they arrived at the Kanefura residence.

"So uhh..yeah this is my house...." Jin mumbled.

"Right then. I guess I'll see you two tomorrow then." She smiled widely, revealing sharp canines that betrayed her feminine look, then turned around. "Oh and Jin, behave yourself!" She then dashed off into the distance leaping from rooftop to rooftop with Tala on her shoulder laughing her head off. Jin blushed slightly and began walking towards his front door.

"So...yeah..my house..."

"Yeah...your house..." There was a long pause of silence, then Jin put his hand on the door.

"I have no clue how my parents are going to react so...expect anything..." He jgulped and slid the door wide open, revealing his parents sitting at the dinner table in the main room. The sudden motion of the door opening caused his mother to jump slightly, but his father remained calm, cool, and collect. No one said anything for a moment, then Jin started breathing heavily. His father looked towards him and noticed Shadow outside.

"Who's the girl outside?"

"That'd be Shadow, one of my new squad mates."

"Why is she here?"

"Err...uhh..." His heart rate sped up tremendously. "Well here's the thing mom...dad...Shadow...uhh..."he felt slightly dizzy and disoriented. "Shadow is homeless and she has no where to go and...and I volunteered our house as a place she could stay!" All of the words flew out of him at a rapid pace.

"Is that all?" Jin's father paused. "Well it's fine with me. Risa?"

"Oh sure, it's fine. Why don't you invite her in?"

"Uhhh yeah ok." He looked behind him. "Shadow they said it's fine."
