Team 8 Leader: Chojuto Dotonoda Members: Choten Dotonoda Trey Hyuuga Xaetra Elnholdt Profile Name: Choten Dotonoda Age: 14 Rank: Genin Height: 5 feet (152.4 cm) Weight: 125 pounds (56.7 kg) Gender: Male Hair color: Black Eye color: Brown Appearance: Similar to how Chojuto looked at this age, except a little shorter and thinner. Element: Earth History: Choten was named after his father's brother. His father had a very close relationship with his brother (Chojuto) before he ran away. But now that they're talking again, Choten's behavior stems from a combination of Chojuto's and his father's. He was raised with expectations of being a great ninja, hopefully surpassing Chojuto. Description: When he first meets people, Choten is usually a little shy and mildly talkative. He's afraid of being embarrassed. But once he gains a close friend, he's very reliable as a person to talk to or for help. Choten is successful at displaying all ranges of emotions, except sadness. He's good at showing his anger, happiness, annoyance, and more. But he can also be good at hiding it if he has to. He doesn't show sadness very well because he'll usually get angry rather than sad. Bloodline Limit: Lava (when I get the ability to use fire element) Starting Jutsus: Bunshin No Jutsu (clone jutsu) Henge No Jutsu (transformation) Kawarimi No Jutsu (substitution) Shinju Zanshu no Jutsu (head hunter jutsu) Supporting Characters Father: Nomu Dotonoda Mother: Shuisu Dotonoda Uncle/mentor/cell leader: Chojuto Dotonoda |

Name: Xaetra "X" / "X.2" Elnholdt Current Age: 13 Current Height: 162.6cm (5'4") Current Weight: 51.4kg (113 lbs.) Rank: Genin Gender: Female Hair / Eye Color: Honey blonde / maroon Element: Water Main Strength: Reflexes. Village: Iwagakure Desc. Physical: Her build is more slender than Xelia's, and a bit more muscular. She still has the barrel chest though, and her hair and eye color is relatively the same as Xel's. She also wears the traditional family war paints, though using a brighter palette with more reds, rather than the overwhelming blacks Xelia used, and the browns and greens her brother Ekado uses. As with Xelia's earlier days, Xae finds a bandana is a good way to keep most of her hair out of the way, but keeps braids in it more often and doesn't use her bangs to hide her facial shape. She wears whatever's clean, often hand-me-downs, and is most often dressed in shirts and shorts. Ninja headband is her bandana, the metal taken off and stuck onto it. Desc. Psychological: Xaetra is friendly, compared to her siblings. She's more intent on supporting her group and voicing her opinion, and is not as reserved. Rather than sulk around, she'd rather be with friends when she feels alone. History: Xaetra is the youngest of 3 children, the eldest Xelia. 2 months before she was born, Xelia was killed in a recon mission and deemed KIA. Her father insisted that she be named with a name starting with an X to fill the gap, and she feels as if she's living in the shadow of Xelia instead of being recognized as Xaetra. She blames Xelia's death on her decision to study Genjutsu instead of her family's Taijutsu style (and as a result thinks Genjutsu is little more than useless), and is now studying the style herself as a way to gain recognition as an individual. Most people call her X, unable to pronounce her name correctly, but people who knew Xelia call her X.2, less than fond of the previous nickname that would bring back memories and risk them mistaking her for her sister. Current Jutsu: Bunshin no Jutsu (Clone) (14/12/08) Henge no Jutsu (Transformation) (14/12/08) Kawarimi no Jutsu (Substitute) (14/12/08) Jouchaku no Jutsu (Evaporate) (14/12/08) Kirigakure no Jutsu (Hidden Mist) (21/12/08) Family: Xavvierre Elnholdt (Father), Metami Elnholdt (Mother), Ekado Elnholdt (Brother), Xelia Elnholdt (Sister - deceased), Tonari Deibyou (Great Aunt), Inoshuu Deibyou (Great Uncle) Edited by Lizixl, Dec 23 2008, 12:51 AM.

*(Moved from old training thread) Prologue "Hah!" I shouted as I struck the log. Chojuto said that I would be meeting my new team members soon, and I didn't want to appear weak before them. "Heh, training up?" a voice said from behind me. "Ah!" I turned around with a start. Chojuto was standing there with a grin on his face. "You scared me!" I shouted. He laughed and said "You shouldn't be frightened that easily, Choten. You'll make the whole team look bad!" My face reddened with embarrassment and I nervously stared at the ground. "Hah hah, don't worry about it! I was only joking." "Oh," I said, with a dumb look on my face. I turned back around, and waited for Chojuto to leave, but he waited there like he was expecting something. I was afraid I'd look stupid, so instead of making my usual loud noises and kicking the log, I silently kicked it. I sensed that Chojuto didn't see what he was expecting, and when I turned around, he had already silently jumped away. Now that he was gone, I reverted back to yelling loudly every time I struck the log. My mind wandered away as my body began mechanically kicking the log on its own. What will my team be like... Prologue (post 2) "When will I get to meet my team members?" I whined to Chojuto. Of course, it wasn't like I really wanted to meet them, I just wanted to know. "Soon. Probably tomorrow," Chojuto pacified me. "Oh that's right! That's what I was gonna do. Here, in the mean time, I'll teach you a jutsu that I learned early on when I was a kid." "Sweet!" I shouted excitedly. We went outside and Chojuto began to instruct me on how to do the technique. "This might be difficult at first, but it's a very useful technique. Watch me do it." And with that, he shouted "Shinju Zanshu no Jutsu!" and disappeared into the ground. I looked around me in shock, and suddenly, two legs grabbed me and pulled me in until my torso was stuck in the ground! "Ah! How'd you do that?!" I shouted in surprise. He popped up behind me and said "That's what I'm about to teach you. If I wanted to, I could've easily pulled you in until only your head was above the ground. And then you'd be easy pickings if I wanted to slit your throat..." He saw the scared look on my face, grinned at me, and swiftly pulled me out o the ground. "Okay first, focus chakra at the bottom of your feet, and on the palm of your hands. Those places are key when you're first getting underground. Then quickly lean down and imagine yourself diving through the ground." I nodded along as he described the process to me. He gave me a chance to try it, and I ended up planting my face into the ground. "Ouch!!!" I yelled in pain. "You're afraid. You have to believe it's going to work. Oh and, make sure your hands touch the ground before your face does," he chuckled. "Right." This time, I made sure I did it right, and somehow the ground gave away before me, but suddenly I couldn't tell which way was up or which way was down! I couldn't see anything either! Then I was pulled out of the ground and I could see clear sky again! "You got stuck halfway. Good try though." I gave myself more momentum this time, and finally dived into the ground like Chojuto did! Being underground was a very strange sensation. It was like being blind, except I could hear and almost see, in a way, everything going on above me. I snuck underground to Chojuto's legs, and playfully pulled him underground, but as I was rising out of the ground, a log dropped on my head! "Heh, substitution jutsu," Chojuto chuckled at me. "I think you're finally getting the hang of it. But you'll need some more practice to be able to use it in real battle." I took his advice, and spent the rest of the day practicing my newly learned jutsu. |

((Moved from old training thread. Subject to some serious editing.)) December 14th "1.2 seconds. Not too bad...!" I couldn't tell if he was being sarcastic, or if he was actually pleased by my performance. "Now do it again." ... I think it was sarcasm. Spoiler: click to toggle ---------------------------------- Ekado clicked the stopwatch as he recorded another time on his clipboard, the blur of mist quickly pulling itself together into the shape of the genin user. He nodded, looking at the progress of the day; when they had started, she had been averaging to 0.7 seconds. Now she was at an entire second. "1.2 seconds. Not too bad!", he called out to her. Xaetra, sweaty and worn out from practicing the entire morning (and well into the afternoon), looked up from her spot on the ground, eyes wide with surprise. "Now do it again." he said, seeing a little bit of fight left in her. She threw her head back and groaned loudly, wanting to stop already. Ekado laughed again. "One more time X, just one more time!" Turning her head, she looked at him with tired eyes. "But why? We've been doing this for hours! I feel like I'm gonna fall apart!" Holding up the clipboard, Ekado pointed at it. "Because I want an even number of results!" "Forget it! I'm not doing it!" Xaetra stretched her arms out and laid flat out on the dry grass, content to just not move. She was glued to this spot until she was rested, and absolutely nothing could convince her otherwise. "It'll only take a few seconds X, get off the ground!" "The clouds look kind of green... there might be a rainstorm tonight..." "We'll stop by someplace for dinner on the way back." "But nothing sounds good..." "I'll tell mom about what really happened to her pet rabbit." "He and I both know that was the neighbor's fault..." Stroking his nonexistant beard, Ekado pondered over how he could get a reaction out of the teenager. Food bribery had failed... and to be honest, Xaetra wasn't passionate about much besides improving her skills. And then, an old memory hit him. "... If you don't get up, I can't promise you that the entire village won't know about your old cru--" "So, Ox seal, right? Ready to time me?" Ekado smirked as she stood up and wiped the grass off her shorts. "There's the X I grew up with." |

Previous Training "Aaahhh!!" Trey fell to the ground from a savage blow from Kellach. "No fair dad!" "Hey, the enemy won't go so easy on you if they get the chance. They'll attack you with enough force to kill you." "Yikes... didn't think of it completely that way I guess..." Trey got up and got in his fighting stance again and began to concentrate on his father's movements. Trey amazingly kept up with his father for a period of time but then lost his step and whatever chance he had of beating his dad. "Ugh... I lost focus again. Why can't I get this right?!" "In time son. I didn't get this way in a day, I kept up in my training every day that I could. I even used weights." "How much weight did you use?" Kellach smirked at his son and thought back to what weight his sensei had him first work with. "I think my old sensei had me start out with 200 lbs. on each leg." "WHAT?! How is that even possible?!" "Too be honest I could hardly move for the first week and I was forbidden to take off the weights for anything but bathing and an attack from the Creed." They both starred at eachother for a moment "Then I gradually increased the weight, and got weights for my arms also. And now I carry 500 lbs. on each leg and 100 lbs. on each arm." "........YOU'RE INSANE!!! You don't even look that buff!!! I mean, come on you'd have to be like twice your size to do that!" Kellach flexed his arm muscle and Trey gazed at it. He was utterly amazed at the sight and immediately started begging his dad for weights. "Not till you can keep good balance on your own and know the basics inside and out." Back to the training they went. After 2 hours of brawling in the woods with eachother it was time to head back home for a nice home cooked dinner. Trey and Kellach both walked home a little worn out and with a well diserved appetite. Trey woke up the next morning from dream disturbances. His dreams were so intense he had rolled off his bed and landed with a "thud" on the ground, waking him up immediately. "Oww..." He rubbed the back of his head to try and soothe the pain. Getting up, he moved himself to the window and took a deep breath of the fresh outside air. He thought to himself, "I wonder what my team-mates will be like... I hope they're fun and cooperative." He paced his bedroom a few times thinking of different faces that could show up but he couldn't keep a face for more than a few seconds. Since today was a resting day, Trey ran downstairs and got his breakfast and headed back up to his room to do some push-ups and some sit-ups to get a little workout for the day. After his warm-up he streched his body and worked on his balance. Yet still pondering on the thoughts of his team to come... Trey was walking through the village, viewing all of the villagers' hard work. He stumbled upon the ramen shop "Ichiraku" and thought he might stop by for a bowl. walking in and sitting down, "One bowl of pork ramen please" Trey said with a disappointed tone in his voice. Just then a shinobi had came through the curtains and looked as if he was out of breath from searching the whole village! "Excuse me, have you seen Trey Hyuuga around" He had asked the guy behind the counter making ramen. "I'm Trey Hyuuga" The shinobi looked so relieved and handed me a letter with a green borderline on the envelope. I opened the letter and began to read the following: " Trey Hyuuga We regret to inform you that there are no genin left to assign you to a team with. We would like to propose another option to you. This option would be to move to the Rock Village and be appointed a team there. This is a choice based on strictly your opinion. You have 2 days to report to the Hokage with your answer or the oportunity will be cancelled. Further instructions will be given based on your choice. ~The Head Council~ " Trey was absolutely astonished. He didn't know what to think. He was disappointed that there were no other genin to train with in Konoha but he was also excited on his chance to go to a new village and study and learn their fighting styles! But the question is, would his parents let him? Trey raced home after he was finished with his ramen. As he reached his house he burst through the door and immediately found his dad and showed him the letter. Kellach was confused on how this could work, and also confused on why they would choose a water type genin to go to an Earth type village. Trey really wanted to go to the Rock Village. He had hardly any friends in this village and none of them in which he'd be put on a team with for sure. His dad showed the letter to his mother and his mother was objecting the whole idea. 20 minutes of begging was going on before Trey's mother gave in and okayed the idea. She was still reluctant to the idea of her only child to be moving to a different village but compromised by haveing her son send a letter home at least once a week. They all went to bed to rest on the idea and come morning Trey still had his mind set. He grabbed the letter and ran out the door down to the Hokage's Headquarters. He conversed with the Hokage, who was glad to hear his decision, and the Hokage had informed a Jounin to escort Trey to the Rock Village. Trey had 2 hours to get his things packed, eat, and say goodbyes. He walked home and got his things packed. As he was just about to close his bag his dad walked in. "Do you have any room for these?" He noticed his dad was giving him his step grandfather's ninja armor. It wasn't his grandfather because he wasn't blood related to him but he was still important to everyone. "Whoa! Really?" Kellach nodded at Trey and handed them over. "They're yours. I trained in that armor for a very long time and now I think it's time you use it." Trey began to put on the top and had a little trouble with it. "Hey dad, could you give me a little help here?" Kellach laughed a little and gave Trey a hand. As soon as he got it on Trey looked in the mirror and was quite impressed with the way he looked. "Now son, this armor has lasted through your grandfather and I. I'm not sure how many years it has left but it is strong armor and will keep you protected" Trey nodded and looked at the time. "Cripes! I've got 5 minutes to be at the village gate to meet my escort to the Rock Village!" He gave his dad a hug and then his mom a hug and was down to 2 minutes now. He waved goodbye and hopped on the rooftops of buildings to the village gate to move faster. He got there just in the nick of time. They each bowed to eachother and introduced themselves and began the journey to the Rock Village. |

Chapter 1 "Shinju Zanshu!" I was out practicing my jutsu on the wooden dummy we had (totally nailed it!) when my uncle Chojuto came outside. "Hey, what're you doing?" he asked me. "What do you mean, what am I doing? I'm training," I replied with a confused expression. "Your team mates should be here in about 5 minutes. Shouldn't you be getting ready to meet them?" "Oh crap! I forgot!" I shouted with both excitement and worry. I hurriedly rushed inside to wash all the dirt and grime away from my training. I changed to a new set of clothes, and then sat on the steps outside, letting the wind ruffle my clothes while I sat contemplating and staring at the sky. Edited by Chojuto, Dec 19 2008, 02:12 AM.

I was walking along the road in the Rock village. "We finally made it!" "Yeah and your first training day is today too" I was soo exahsted "Wait... WHAT?!" "Yes. Your team has been assigned and your training ground is by the appartment complex 36245" Great. Not only did I have to get what rest I could from the 3 day trip but now I had to train today too?! Well now was the search of the apartment complex. We started looking for apartment buildings which took us about 10 minutes to find. As soon as we found them we had to find the right one. The escort was still with me. He had to acompany me for a day in the village to make sure the move goes alright and then head back to Konoha. We arrived at the right building and I saw a boy in the back yard who had looked as if he'd been practicing. The escort gave me a piece of paper with my team-mates names on it. "When did you get this?" "Recently..." He seemed somewhat suspicious. But he's a ninja. We're always suspicious. I went into the back yard and asked, "Excuse me, are you Choten?" |

I awoke from my idle thoughts to a voice asking confirmation of my identity, but before I could even answer... "Ah! You must be Trey Hyuuga!" Chojuto said. "Yeah, I'm Choten..." I mumbled. |

The Rock ninja didn't look like he was too happy to have a leaf ninja on his team. And I was pretty new to this place so you could call it hostile territory to me. "Sooo.... Is this where we'll train from now on?" I was clueless on what to say so I tried to make some small talk to break the silence. |
