So as you all should be aware i am currently going to school for Electrical Engineering. that being said i have a classes that requires a *project of my choice* that correlates to this class. the issue however is that this class is titled 'research methods'. meaning it doesn't matter what i do the project one as long as i can research it (without using Wikipedia). so my challenge this week is to find out what i am doing it on. should i ask anyone at my house i am sure the answer will regard weed/cannabis/marijuana/maryjane/'da herb'/..... therefore i have come here to ask you folks what sort of topic or idea should i research. please note that i will let you all know my findings. [so first ideas then a poll. i think will be what happens.] |

depends on the class. I took a few Electrical Engineering Tech classes in the past, and I had a "of my choice" project for a class that was mostly about instruction. My project was a detailed manual to changing a car tire. | ||||||||||||||||||||

Well, since it is based on electrical engineering, I would suggest maybe something about alternative types of power. Research the mechanics, uses, risks, management, and benifits of a hydro electric dam. Wind power turbines are also an option, since in certain areas around the world they provide all the power, plus they can be extremely efficient. Wave generators aren't really used as much, but their rarity might help make it interesting for you. | ||||||||||||||||||||

the class is not based in my degree, it is a general education class meaning everyone takes it, in the bachelors programs. | ||||||||||||||||||||

Well, obviously some topics will be more difficult to write about than others, so your choice will also choose your difficulty. I like what Orius said about anime/manga. I did a project on that for world history, and found out it stems backs to the early 1300's for the first manga art...so take that into consideration. | ||||||||||||||||||||
