Shimizu thought quickly about who was around her and her best options. She had been on three A ranked missions with Rowan and felt comfortable with him as a fellow Swordsman. On her most recent mission, she'd also been able to see Makura in action. While he may not be the best teammate in the world, she had to admit that he was a capable Swordsman. She decided not to attack either of those shinobi, but in the back of her mind she knew Just because I am not going to attack them does not mean that they will not attack me. She tried to keep her eyes on everyone, in case anyone attacked. She watched as Rowan made a show of picking a target. She was glad he had not picked her, though she was still worried that Makura may move in swiftly to remove her from the competition. With Rowan likely garnering Dekisui's attention, Shimizu removed a kunai from her pack and threw it across the pentagon at him. She was hoping to catch the shinobi off guard. |

Makura still hated this with all of his might, and wanted to reason with the Mizukage more. He was not given the option though as they were poofed away to a fighting area. This was not good he needed to act fast or many people would be hurt in this point less fight. He seen Rowan run off at Dekisui getting ready to attack, so it would be best to make this over fast for him. Then seen a Kunai thrown at him, but knew that a two on one fight might make someone to stop. So he charged at Dekisui dogging the kunai, then drawing his sword. Three on one should make him want to stop no matter what that is if he valued his own life. Makura hoped that he would be forgiven for this.

With the attacks going on, Kyuuri was quite exact. Poofing into existence over Dekisui's head, falling down sorta on top of him, shouting out "Failure!" before poofing away again, leaving again, with Dekisui disappearing with him. | ||||||||

Sasaki had hung back and watched as they were all poofed to some waterless area somewhere in Kiri, if they were even still there. Once there, the Mizukage, Kyuuri, informed them of what they were to do. An all out tourney where the it would be decided who stayed and who went. It seemed like one of them was certainly going to be gone, Dekisui. The man had been targeted by three of his fellow Swordsmen from the get go. Just as it seemed that he would be terminated... actually, he was. The Mizukage himself poofed the man away, calling him a failure as he did so. What prompted this? Sasaki had no clue. Perhaps the Mizukage was even more crazed than he was. Kyuuri-sama wanted to hack out the weaker ones from us, possibly cutting the Swordsmen in half. When we poofed here, there was already five and now there are four of us left. We've lost almost half already and yet we're still to fight? You ought to take advantage that these ducks are all aiming at thin air and strike them from behind. I don't think any of them would fall that easily. Possibly, but you'd deal a good amount of damage. Just get in there and cut them to shreds or they'll cut us. I don't know... Sasaki looked over the remaining shinobi. Rowan seemed to be rather battle hungry and a bit excited, like Sasaki's other half. Makura and Shimizu were the two who had objected to the fighting. As much as they had objected, they were here and fighting, though it was the same target they had intended. Sasaki saw something though, it was Makura. It seemed as if he was still intent on not fighting and was merely doing it because he had to. Sasaki himself was in conflict. One side of him didn't want to fight either. He agreed with Makura and found that with only four Swordsmen left, the job of cleansing the team was done. His other half wanted to just dive in and slash away at the others now that they were busy. He tried to find a medium between the two as he performed a series of handseals. Once done, a mist covered the area, making it difficult to see. Normally, one would hold the handseal in order to travel through the mist, but that wasn't the shinobi's intention. No, he merely wanted to fog the field. He did move from his location, moving and drawing his sword slowly and silently as to avoid being heard. With the mist over the field, things would get interesting. Spoiler: click to toggle

With Rowan himself preparing an attack on Dekisui and his two friends performing actual attacks, it irritated him that the Mizukage dropped down poofing away the man before he could even react to their assault; irritation intact the swordsman quickly swung his sword round towards the dual minded freak whom by this point had completed a singular handseal, forming a thick mist around the area before quietly charging forwards. "OH COME OOONNN!" he yelled in great irration "WHAT BIG BABIES FIRST BEING POOFED AWAY NOW HIDE AND SEEK!?" The treeman took a deep breath in attempt to relax himself. "Ok fine, two can play at that game" he spoke in a less irriated but still blood firsty tone. Holding up his left hand in a singular handseal Rowan faded away into the fog and took on a more stealth like approach as he scurried around looking for his opponent, stomping on the ground from time to time. "Hehehehehe" he snickered amongst the mist. "This will be a fun game of hide and seek" That was his last words for the remainder of time he spent hidden in the mist. Spoiler: click to toggle

Shimizu despised the Mist that so many Kiri shinobi relied on so heavily. If she were going to kill someone, she wants to see the effects of her efforts. She wants to see the blood ooze from her victims body and with his blasted mist, she couldn't see anything. She tried to ready herself for an incoming attack, but there was no way to determine where they may be coming from. This was a simple competition. You won by being one of the last few members standing, not by removing the competition. That meant Shimizu just had to survive this Mist, not destroy an opponent. With that in mind, she moved her hands in front of her and did a few handsigns. Just a moment later, she turned to a puddle of water. Spoiler: click to toggle

Makura seen the Mizukage fail one of them, and that means now that only one other needed to fail for him to keep his spot. Though before he could act to fast there was a deep mist or fog set in and this was not good. Odds were that one of the other nins made this fog, but soon it got worst to where he could just see barely in front of him. Makura had to act fast due to the fact that one or more of them were moving in this He then had an idea, that could end badly for him if he failed. He placed his sword in the ground then all of a sudden he had tall spikes of bones shoot up from the ground these were taller then what most ninjas jump. The space between them all was just a foot or two between each, but made sure he was not hit from them. The worst part about this was that he had covered the entire area, so that no one would be able to leave this odds were. He then decided to do a few hand seals, and grabbed his sword once more then fuse the one bone tree that was in front of him. Then as he entered he made electricity arch from every bone tree but his. So now the few feet between each bone was a deadly trap, and the bones themselves were as well. The only safe place was the few inches around the bone Makura was in, unlucky for them they would almost not be able to tell which bone that is due to the mist and the attack its self. He did not want to do this, but he was also thrown into a fight he did not want to be in. Rather then setting this like civilized men the Mizukage made them fight, as if it was a fight to the death. Now that it was harder for Makura he was going to end this pointless fight with this attack. Spoiler: click to toggle

"Seems like Kaguya made his move," Sasaki stopped the moment the bones sprouted forth and remained still. Then he noted the electricity and when he saw how bright it was, quickly closed his eyes. However, he soon discovered that even as he remained still, he couldn't move. Damn! That electricity got us... Yup. Looks like the bugger got the whole area, that or he has it in for you. Gee, thanks... what do we do? What do you mean? Open your eyes kiddo! We're fu... Sasaki opened his eyes, but couldn't shake his head at his own thoughts. Was it really over? For him? For everyone? [ooc: Even if you were fast enough to doge bone trees that you could not see coming up that give you only a few feet of room to work with, the electricity would hit you if you just stood there due to the fact that its going between all but one bone tree. The one tree is far enough away from you and you would not be able to see what one that is, so there for you would not be able to move due to the effects of the electricity.] | ||||||||

With that done, the background faded away, along with everything on the field. With it fading, it was revealed that they were all still on the field, with those that were knocked on the head down on the ground, unconscious. Piku stepped out from behind the Kage, nodding to the remaining three swordsmen. "No damage was done, don't worry." Kyuuri said with a reassuring tone. "Now, you three are the three left. Know that you survived your test and can continue protecting Kirigakure no Sato as the elite!" Edited by Orius, Mar 27 2010, 10:15 PM.
