Username: Toshi ------------ Name: Slios Owner's Name: Soku Gender: N/A Height: 4’2’’ Weight: Approximately 250 lbs Description: Slios is an organism made entirely of a metal that was found and mined deep within Kumo's mountainous region. It is a combination of a steel alloy and chakra and is known as "Living steel" to the miners of Kumo. The metal itself is bright silver in color and produces its own magnetic field; it has the same toughness as steel when in its solid form and has the same viscosity of liquid mercury when in its liquid form. Even though it doesn't have a natural form it tends to take the appearance of a humanoid creature that is silver in color. Personality: Slios is a very complicated metal organism... thing. At first glance Slios looks like an emotionless, merciless, cold hearted weapon because of its sharp and aggressive appearance. Even though this creature is known to be all and more of these in battle, but for the most part Slios is an incredibly curious companion. It is absolutely fascinated with the heating, crafting, and shaping of metal. This is probably because Slios feels that it shares a certain bond with any metallic substance, as if it was a sibling or friend. It feels a strong connection with those who work with metal and will do anything to protect those it is emotionally attached to. And since it is the only known creature of its kind it is always in search of companionship, even though it is a futile effort. Picture: N/A ------------ Rank: A-rank Weapons: Razor sharp fingers, pointed boots, has a long, razor sharp blade extending from the back of its head that trails behind its body, whip-like strands of flexible metal that is attached at its hip, 8x shuriken (sheathed along the outer edge of Slios’s waist armor), and a claw weapon that includes three 12 inch long razor blades. Stats:
Chakra Affinity: Raiton ------------ Jutsu: Style: Shinnyo Souran [The Absolute Control] Prerequisites: Kumo nin with Raiton as a primary elemental affinity. A relatively new style in Kumo based on an old jutsu that really lent itself more to parlor tricks than fighting, the Absolute Control series is just that; a way by which a master of the style gains absolute control over any metal object he touches (or has touched). D-rank *Denjiki [Electromagnetism] D-Rank Ninjutsu By infusing a metal object with raiton chakra via a small ball of static that can be thrown within a range of about ten feet, the user can cause it to become highly magnetic, which means that it will latch itself to other metal objects in close proximity, even altering the course of nearby (five or six feet) metal objects such as shuriken and kunai in midair. The Strength required to separate objects that become magnetized should be equal to or greater than the user’s Control stat. Alternately, C-rank Katon jutsu or above can drastically weaken the bond, if not nullify it entirely. *Kodate [Small Shield] D-Rank Ninjutsu Creating a rotating magnetic field in front of them, users of this jutsu also rotate any metal objects within the field. This creates a fairly effective shield against most physical attacks, as well as most katon, raiton and fuuton jutsu of a similar rank. C-Rank or higher Katon jutsu will likely break this jutsu, and C-Rank raiton techniques are negated entirely. B-rank Magenichikko no [Magnetic field] Rank: B-rank Ninjutsu Prerequisites: control of 5, raiton affinity Description: Due to a large dose of chakra and magnetism given to Slios upon its creation the metal the forms its body naturally creates its own magnetic field. This field only extends about an eighth on an inch past its own body, but the field is strong enough to allow Slios to hover, fly, and manipulate any metal object that comes into contact with it at will. Gorogoro [Scatter] Rank: B-rank Ninjutsu Prerequisites: control of 5, Raiton affinity Description: Slios will use a mixture of magnetism and its own chakra to break apart its own body, causing the fragments to scatter throughout the air. These individual fragments retain the same magnetic field that surrounds Slios at all times, meaning that they can hover and fly just as Slios is able to at will. This technique is very helpful to not only dodge an attacker, but to swarm the target from all sides with sharp or blunt pieces of metal. The time Slios can spend in this state is very limited, though. At most it can stay scattered for up to two posts and if more than 50% of its body is separated for longer than three posts it will die. Ninjutsu C-rank Kakkou Koutai: Tame Joushi [Shape shift: To arms] Rank: C-rank Ninjutsu Prerequisites: Kakkou Koutai Prerequisites: Kakkou Koutai Shape shift Description: Using the shape shift technique Slios will judge which weapon would be the most helpful in a situation, and will then turn in to that weapon. In this form Slios is able to move on its own, allowing Soku to wield it more easily. The weapon can range anywhere from the size of a large sword to the length of a long chained weapon. B-rank Kakkou Koutai [Shape shift] Rank: B-rank Ninjutsu Description: Because of the strange properties of the metal that forms Slios’s body it is able to condense or soften this metal into any shape or form (within reason, obviously). This allows Slios to manipulate its own body in several ways (transforming into weapons, creating gaps in its own body, becoming as soft as mercury, etc). A-rank Katachi rikkido no yoroi [Shape shift: Liquid metal armor] Rank: A-rank Ninjutsu Prerequisites: Kakkou Koutai Description: By manipulating the magnetic field around itself Slios is able to shift into a liquid state and surround Soku’s body entirely, forming a lightweight and highly flexible skin-tight, silver armor (which gives Soku the appearance of something straight out of an Asimov novel). This liquid metal lies dormant on Soku’s skin until it is struck by an aggressive force, in which the liquid metal will harden and protect Soku from harm. This armor is very thin, however, and can only effectively negate small projectiles, (kunai, shuriken, senbon, etc.) any Ninjutsu/taijutsu under C-rank, one B-rank Ninjutsu/taijutsu technique every two posts, or one A-rank technique (but the armor will shatter after blocking any A-ranked technique). Genjutsu C-rank Kane souhou [Metal touch] Rank: C-rank Genjutsu Description: After completing a short set of hand seals Slios will attempt to make eye contact with the target in order to activate the genjutsu. Once activated this will make the user believe that anything he or she touches is made of a super tough metal substance. This technique is incredibly useful against Taijutsu users, as it will feel like they are punching a solid steel statue instead of human flesh. Lasts 3 posts. B-rank Kamisori souhou [Razor touch] Rank: B-rank Genjutsu Description: After completing a short set of hand seals Slios will attempt to make eye contact with the target in order to activate the genjutsu. Once activated this genjutsu will cause anything the user touches to feel razor sharp. The area that this genjutsu effects increases with time, so during the first post only the hands and feet are affected, by the second post the target’s entire arms and legs are affected, and by the third post the entire user’s body is affected. When the full effect of the genjutsu is reached every sensation, no matter how slight, felt by the target will feel as though they are being sliced open by a razor sharp edge making any movement incredibly painful. After the fourth post the genjutsu will wear off and the user’s body will return to normal. Hagane kawa meimu [Steel skin illusion] Rank: B-rank Genjutsu Description: After completing a short set of hand seals Slios will attempt to make eye contact with the target in order to activate the genjutsu. Once activated this genjutsu will cause the user to believe that his or her body has become as heavy as lead, so overall they will feel approximately 450 lbs heavier than usual. This will make movement very difficult, not to mention it will drastically lower the opponent’s speed and reaction abilities. The full effects of this genjutsu will last for two posts, will decrease by half effectiveness by the third post (meaning the target will feel as though they weigh 225 lbs), and will lose all effectiveness by the user’s fourth post. Kane fobia [Metal phobia] Rank: B-rank Genjutsu Description: After releasing a large dose of its own chakra at the target, this particular genjutsu will take effect after the victim sees anything metallic. The target of this technique will immediately begin to feel an intense fear of anything made of metal as if they have an actual phobia (hence the name). This will cause the target to feel intimidated and scared of any metal object, this will obviously throw them off against anyone carrying or wearing something metallic. Lasts for 4 posts.
