This is my first time making an announcement so I'll just treat it like ripping off a duct tape band aid.

The stat training system has had a fair deal happen to it in the recent past including points and word requirements being altered. Well it's happening again and this one should further help the casual RPer. It's reducing the starting word and point cost by a bit as well as making it have a better flow for late game characters. Over all word counts are down, but it becomes a point sink once you start training in the S class. It does make sense though, people don't suddenly get stronger, they grow progressively. Having plenty of missions and socials between each training actually makes it more organic in growth. Without further sugar coating I present you with the table.

As I said, the late game point costs seem daunting but it's not going to affect the vast majority of the characters that get made. It actually helps all characters pre-S rank by reducing both word and point cost totals. As always, questions and the like are more than welcome, but I will strongly urge people to take in the full scope of things before leaving any hostile remarks.

Due to the shadiness of the last mafia game, the pay out will not take place as advertised. Rather, all participants will be given a participatory prize in EP. We understand that this is unfair to all participants, but the administration has determined this fix-it prize the best fitting.

We also understand that there is no actual evidence pointing at specific cheaters or even that there was cheating to begin with, but the fact that it was suspected in the first place already points to a foul game. In any future iterations of mafia games, it's best if all participants and the moderator act respectfully towards one another as to avoid these sorts of accusations in the future.

It really just takes one person to spoil the game for everyone else. Keep this in mind for the upcoming game in July.

Over the past few years skype has become as big of a part of the Saigen experience as, well the site and RP itself! Recently a huge Skype trojan has taken place and planted itself on thousands of computers. It has come to my attention that a few members of Saigen have been infected.

This Virus starts with the name "Skype_Img" and has 4-03 in the title. People infected automatically message their contacts list every twenty minutes with a link to this saying "this is my favorite pic of you lol REDACTED". DO not click the link, avoid these messages, and pass this information onto the friend who messaged you.

I had just woken up, and curiously I gave it a click. Luckily- our virus designers for some reason zipped the virus, so I never got to the stage of clicking img.exe. I saw the .exe and the red flag rose.

However, you may not be as lucky or your friend who's spamming you. HOPEFULLY, this message reached you first, if not follow the steps below.

Step One

• Please change your Skype password @ https://login.skype.com/account/password-reset-request from a safe computer.

Step Two

• In Skype go to Tools->Options->Advanced Settings.
• Click 'Manage Other Programs access to Skype'
• Remove anything that looks malicious or unknown

Step Three

• Download Malware Bytes @ http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free/ and run a series of scans.

Step Four

• Run MBAM and use the FileASSASSIN tool to delete the all exe file found under AppData directory
  C:\Users\YOURUSERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming

Step Five

• Do a final scan for peace of mind @ http://www.eset.com/onlinescan/

Uchiha Clan

After some behind the scenes discussion, the admins and I have been working on bringing the Uchiha to Saigen in their full glory. However given the nature of the clan and cannon in general we are limiting their initial registration. This will be on a first come first serve basis and limiting it to three genin, two chuunin and one jounin or special jounin at start. Applications will be weighted both on how the character is written and matches the clan traits and theme while still managing to keep their character unique and independent. It will be a balance but I know this forum and know the people here are capable of doing it.


Individuals attempting to acquire the Rinnegan will be expected to roleplay the discovery of such responsibly. RP Moderators will be watching characters on this path and Uchiha in general and will be given free grounds to interfere and complicate research into plot lines that currently only exist in in Naruto Cannon and may not match the Saigen universe.

If all goes well and this trial run works the clan will at a later undisclosed date be open to general public like any other clan.

While things are finalized here are things to keep note before anyone sets out on making an Uchiha:

Sharingan, Mangekyou and Eternal Mangekyou will each be separate ability. This means following a pure Uchiha route of building up will use up a character's full ability load out.

Rinnegan pathway will require acquisition of Senju implantation, which may result and most likely will result in a Missing-nin character and will also require all three ability slots. IE Sharingan base, Mokuton and Rinnegan abilities.

Jutsu copying abilities will be similar to Henrin but will have some higher limits given the extensive potential Sharingan brings to the table. Copying will not mean mastery of that jutsu and to fully master any given stolen technique will require either training or some investiture of points. IE keep a pool of points free to pay for techniques. On the other hand members of the Uchiha clan will be able to dump stolen techniques into their own personal List which follows its own pyramid. Also copying a technique also does not mean understanding so creating custom versions of stolen techniques will not be possible without the basic access to the knowledge behind it.
