Chimamaru Kichaku

Kichaku

Name: Chimamaru Kichaku
Age: 13 (Subject to change with... Um, time.)
Gender: Male

Height: 5’5’’ (He has some growing to do, a concession of dealing with a cracking voice, growing sores, and hormones that lovely puberty entails to all adolescence. Otherwise, height subject to change with age.)
Weight: 107 lbs (Also subject to change as Kichaku grows.)

Birth Country: Mist
Village: Mist
Rank: Academy Student

History: The Chimamaru family wholly surmises the nasty reputation that the Mist Village was renowned for. Many traditions often frowned upon by foreign allegiance were purported, or, at least, carried out, by many of Kichaku’s ancestors, including the ritual of having academy students fight to the death to become genins, the slaughter of various people suspected of having bloodline limits (though half of them unjustly murdered), and the scores of other bad deeds. As such, the Chimamaru family is full of unrepressed aggression, unfraid- or rather, preferring- brutal tactics to assert that they are the “fittest to survive”, with much pride in their uncompromising nature. Little compassion runs through this competitive clan of strength, and thus Kichaku was born. However, this first-born of the clan really has no interest in inheriting the scheme of “bloody beginning”, as his name was morphed from. Indeed, he’s rejected the prospect of a legacy of bullish violence, a cumbersome and likely cursed sword that was his grandfather’s, probably of mystic properties, and the chance to quickly learn all the Chimamru’s deadly forbidden techniques. And what for?

To put it simply, a chameleon.

A reptilian critter that rarely ventures around Mist Village territory had discovered Kichaku and, since, the camouflage prospects have attracted his attention far more than a giant sword really had ever done. Quickly, the boy evolved from observing, to stalking, to imitation, to adopting and talking to the lizard, which Kichaku’s fondly named Ashita… Tomorrow. Eventually, before the boy entered the Academy as a student, Kichaku set his mind onto learning all the secrets to his chameleon companion and thus strayed from the family business, much to the displeasure of his parents. However, in a time of peace, where many other villages were plagued by some hideous disease and with few approving of the Chimamaru’s lust for blood, Kichaku’s parents decided it’d be much easier to let Kichaku dream on his own during his youth, hoping he’d straighten out in the future, rather than force him into family traditions and have bother an unhappy offspring, a village wary of Kichaku’s growth, and a teen who would hunger for a war that could not be in these ill times.

Appearance: Kichaku’s a generally nondescript guy, standing at a relatively average height for his age with a lithe figure and a generally tanned complexion due to spending much of his time outdoors. Hazelnut tresses adorn his head, falling nonchalantly into his cerulean eyes at the most inopportune of moments, though; recently, he’s fastened goggles around his forehead to try rectifying his messy hairstyle. Unsurprisingly for those few who know of his new chameleon obsession, the goggles, an assortment of earthly colors throughout the comfy Velcro band, are fashioned to mimic a chameleon’s eyes. Two semi-spheres protrude from the strap, with an obsidian dot placed in each, seemingly in a random location, obviously pupils that have separate minds and are fixated on different objects. The theme continues onto his clothes, a camo sleeveless jacket tossed atop a long-sleeve white shirt and forest slacks for his regular prowling around as an academy student.

Primary Weapon: Eh, before you consider Ashita a “weapon” of sorts, you should really question whether he’s an asset to begin with. Though claiming to be magicial (and hypnotizing Kichaku to begin with via its irregular ability to speak), for the most part, the lazy and lackadaisical reptilian crawls throughout and around Kichaku’s shoulders and limbs, making smart (often unappreciated remarks) about his “owner,” hardly showing any signs of being unusual aside from literacy. Truth be told, Ashita doesn’t seem particularly invested into Ashita’s future, an aged animal that has latched onto the boy mainly to abuse him for his admiration and gain entertainment for that. After all, Ashita is an aged chameleon, who spends his time travelling (thus how he ended up in the Mist Village to begin with) and, from observation, he’s well aware of many jutsus and the like that might make Kichaku’s life easier… yet the lizard rarely sets a hand out to help the boy without bribery of some sort of rare insect to munch on and, when he does willingly assist, it’s usually only half-assed and only leaves Kichaku more confused than before. So, as a whole, would you consider Ashita and his lazy ass an asset? Kichaku definitely doesn’t, but he’s a pet?

He mostly tries harvesting his skills with short blades which he can conceal in his sleeves and quickly pull out with a lazy flick of the wrists.

Secondary Weapon: The basics. Shurikens and kunais.

Bloodlimit: None. Despite Chimamaru’s incredulously bloodly past, none of the family members ever really put effort to offer some unique bloodline limit for the family… Well, that is, after their prejudice of bloodline limits passed.

Ninjutsu Techniques:Clone Jutsu, Replacement Jutsu
Taijutsu Techniques: Um... None at the moment.
Genjutsu Techniques: Kai (Dispelling Genjutsu)

Element Affliction: Pending until Geninhood.

I do apologize for any inaccuracy my history presented; I’m entirely basing my character’s past by memory of what I remember of the Zabuza arc. The battle of the Academy Students was a possibly botched version of Zabuza’s brief flashback and, of course, the bloodline limit deaths were contributed by Haku’s account of eventually becoming an orphan. If anybody have troubles with any of that, speak up and I’ll see to editing. And that goes for just about any other problem you may have with my profile.
