Da Rules!

1. Registration Names
Your registration name [the name you log in with] must be the same as the character you make. Say if your characters name was 'John Hancock' you login name would be 'John Hancock'.

  • 1.a. Character per Account
You may only have ONE character per account. Otherwise it makes no sense to have your name the same as your character. You may have more then one account, but all rules apply to every account.

2. God Modding
Hold yourself from God-modding, also known as Power Playing, is when you control another character that is not your account. Non Player Characters doesn't count.

  • 2.a. Passive God-modding
God-modding can occur when a character describes an event or a series of events he or she has taken against another character or interactive object, most often with the purpose of rescinding negative effects previously encountered or granting some other effect inconsistent with an innocent view of the narrative. God-modding is thus often used like a "Get Out of Jail Free card" when things don't go the way a player wants, rather than working with previously unfolded events. It is
also used to describe the act of creating or playing with an invincible character or unbreakable armor, limitless power, etc.

  • 2.b. Active God-modding
God-modding can also refer to the case where a player definitively describes the outcome of their own actions against another character or interactive object. For example, if player A states, "A strikes B and B takes damage", they could be considered to be God-modding. Another example of this might be where a character is facing multiple enemies, and they redirect one foe's attack onto another. For example, Player A states, "B misses A completely, and strikes C instead."
Similarly, controlling characters that belong to someone else is also a form of God-modding.

  • Player A: Character A punches Character B.

  • Player B: Character B dodges the attack, grabs Character A and throws him out of a stained glass window. Character A flies at Character B, who warps behind him and slashes Character A in the back.

3.Mary Sue Characters
Characters that have barley any weaknesses are called Mary Sue characters. Each person has many weaknesses. Also, they can't dodge any attack like 20 straight times if you get what I mean. You might could if it was with a Non Player Character. If I read anything like this in posts and in your applications.... just look at the Consequences list.

4. Killing and Death
You may kill anyone within this site. The only thing is you must ask them via PM whether or not you can kill them. I do not wish to have a war because someone killed you favorite character. If your character dies, you must put in your sig that they are dead.

The only way you may kill someone without permission is if they are do something to put their life in dangers. For Example a Gennin willing starts a fight with a enemy Jounin. This is because if you throw yourself into a situation where you have a high risk of dieing you basically accept all the risk. This rule only applies to people willing to fight in a dangerous match not if 3 Enemy Jounin happen to come around and attack.

5. Posting Multiple Threads
You may post in multiple threads at a time, the threads must take place at different time periods in order for this to work--> (You cannot have your character fighting Blade April 1 and at the same time be at a meeting April 1. But this is common sense, different time periods work fine.)

  • 5.a. Leaving Threads
When you leave threads, it must be actually some part where it says you leave a place. But right after that, you put in
    [[Officially Left Topic]]
or something like that so the other player knows that you've left that thread for good and won't be able to try to kill you again if it was trying to kill you...

6. Posting
Please post at least four good sentences. And I don't mean, 'She looked into the blue moon.' stuff. I meant for descriptive ones that paint pictures into the reader's mind. This isn't hard anyway. Just use a lot of adjectives. If you can't think of anything else to post, say something about expression, emotion, something that might have happened in the past that has something to do with an object. But if this is in the Out of Character Actions area, then you don't have to post at least a paragraph.

  • 6.a. Content
You may do rated "R" stuff, but must be included on the thread title that there is. Cursing doesn't count, but if it's really excessive cursing, then yeah you'll need it. Also, each post is suppose to be vivid and at least a paragraph like stated above.

7.NPC
NPC is short for Non-Player Character. This is a character you need just to give you something to post if your stuck or something real quick. If the character goes on for more then two pages, you must make a character sheet or get rid of it.

8. Multiple Characters
All characters, not including NPCs, have to make an Application. If not, then you won't be allowed to role play. Anyone can have as many characters as they want, as long as each one is active. And no characters may be closely related to some cannon character, or someone from a movie, etc. They must be unique and original created all by yourself.

9. Double Posting
Double posting won't be allowed because you must let another character to reply. But if someone doesn't reply to your thread within five days, you may go ahead and double post that you're leaving. JUST LEAVING not KILLING. Or just keep it like that.

10. Advertising
No advertising in the cbox. Also, if you have a site of your own, kindly refrain from discussing it in our cbox. The cbox is for this site, kindly do your recruiting elsewhere. Also, don't PM members from this site, asking them to join your site. You'll be banned if you do this. There is an advertising board.

11. Common Sense
This is important because in real life situations, you'll need to use it. And here too while role playing.

12.Announcements
Any announcement posted which states that there is a new rule for a specific forum will be followed, even if said rule isn't added in here. It's still to be treated as though it were on this list. If there are any other announcements, read them before you get caught doing something that was just changed.

13. Respecting Others
Please take your tantrums about people elsewhere. We don't accept people arguing with other people, and please respect their opinions, or even just don't say anything, including to Staff. Our other objective is to keep every member happy.

Breaking Da Rules!

This is what will happen if you break the rules.

1. Verbal Warning

If you break a rule you be informed that you are doing so politely and will be asked to stop. If you see any staff not being polite while giving a warning feel free to tell them so as no one is better then anyone else here.

2. Warning

If you proceed to break the rules you will be given a warning on the boards. This will give you a black mark of X amount of time until the Warning has ended. Each earning gives you a 20% warn level achieve 100% warn level and you will be auto banned.

3. Banning

This should be simple enough to understand. If you keep pissing people off on the forum and make everyone angry you will be banned for x amount of time. Hopefully during a banning these people will learn what not to do.

4. Perma-Ban

I'll make this short and simple. Piss the staff of and community enough and you will NEVER SEE THIS PLACE AGAIN.
