The Rate My Team section is one of the most important sections on this site. It includes teams that need help and they need to be helped in the following manner:

To Team Posters

1) Don't just post movesets. Add a description of how your pokemon benefits your team and what does it do in battle. Team Raters can't help your team if you just say "Standard" or "Awesome".

2) Post in the correct format. This means no format such as:

Pidgey w/ Life Orb-Adamant-Keen Eye
252 Atk / 252 Spd
Attack/Attack/Attack/Attack.

If team raters are going to take the time to give a decent rate you should at least provide a decent thread. This format is much more accepted.

Pokemon @ Item
Ability:
EV's:
Nature: (+ Stat, -Stat)
- Move
- Move
- Move
- Move

3) Put some effort into your teams. This means no gimmick teams such as Mono Dark or "UU is better than OU". Sure, it's fine to make a team with a few UU pokemon in it but it isn't ok to make a team of all UU pokemon that are clearly outclassed by a pokemon in OU. Also, it is ok to post UU teams for the UU Metagame.

4) Do not post a team every few days. This is pretty self explanatory. Instead of posting a team every day try working on them. The accepted waiting time between threads is 1 week.

5) Don't reject all advice. We understand there is such a thing as bad advice. There is even a rule telling people to try not to do so. But if we find out that you have been rejecting all the advice in your RMT, even the good advice, then you haven't posted an RMT, you've just posted a team that you want to show off.

To Team Raters

1) Do not suggest a pokemon that worked for you in experience. Suggest pokemon that works for that team instead.

2) Back up your rates with facts. If you can rate a team you should be able to back it up.
