1. Detroit – Matthew Stafford, QB - Georgia

The Lions add a franchise QB. Their fans hope he turns out to be the real deal. Too good to pass up.

2. St. Louis – Eugene Monroe, OT - Virginia

Monroe gives the Rams a top LT prospect. Orlando Pace has been running on fumes for a couple of years.

3. Kansas City – Aaron Curry, LB - Wake Forest

The Chiefs land a playmaking LB and the best overall player in the entire draft class.

4. Seattle – BJ Raji, DT - Boston College

With TJ on board to catch passes the Hawks can go for a dominant interior force for the DL.

5. Cleveland – Brian Orakpo, DE/LB - Texas

Cleveland needs athletic pass rushers. Orakpo is the best available in the draft.

6. Cincinnati – Jason Smith, OT - Baylor

Smith steps in at LT. The Bengals can move Levi Jones around or let him go.

7. Oakland – Michael Crabtree, WR - Texas Tech

Jamarcus Russell gets a weapon!!! Let's hope Russell is in shape and able to take advantage of his new playmaker.

8. Jacksonville – Jeremy Maclin, WR - Missouri

The Jags have needed a playmaking WR since Jimmy Smith left. Maclin has the speed to really help that offense.

9. Green Bay – Malcolm Jenkins, CB - Ohio State

The Pack loves big CBs. Jenkins lacks ideal speed, but he's fine for playing bump and run at Lambeau.

10. San Francisco – Mark Sanchez, QB - USC

SF talked to Kurt Warner. They must want a QB. Sanchez is probably a reach at this point, but QBs are hard to find.

11. Buffalo – Everette Brown, DE - Florida State

Buffalo can make a lot of moves in FA, but I don't think they'll find a pass rusher. Brown fills that need.

12. Denver – Vontae Davis, CB - Illinois

The Broncos have made a lot of moves, but one area where they are thin is CB. Davis has the athleticism and ability to be a really good pro.

13. Washington – Brian Cushing, LB - USC

Cushing is a perfect fit at SAM for the Redskins. He's got size, toughness, and some athletic ability.

14. New Orleans – Beanie Wells, RB - Ohio State

The Saints would love to get hold of a great Safety, but there isn't one available. Instead they turn to offense. They had the most success in 2006 when Reggie Bush was paired with a big back. Wells, Bush, and Pierre Thomas would give them a great backfield.

15. Houston – Michael Johnson, DE - Georgia Tech

Somewhat of a curveball. The Texans added DE Antonio Smith to handle the left side. They have Super Mario on the right. Johnson is too good to pass up. He gives them a third pass rusher/DE. Houston blew several leads last year. An extra pass rusher might have made a huge difference.

16. San Diego – Andre Smith, OT - Alabama

Smith is too good to pass on. He can play OG, LT, or RT. I'm also not factoring in LaDainian leaving until I know that is a fact.

17. N.Y. Jets – Darrius Heyward-Bey, WR - Maryland

The Jets need a QB, but have to settle on a receiver. DHB has great potential.

18. Chicago – Percy Harvin, WR - Florida

A weapon for Kyle Orton and the Bears offense. Harvin is a dangerous runner and receiver and gives them an immediate boost.

19. Tampa Bay – Peria Jerry, DT - Ole Miss

Jovan Haye left in FA. The Bucs need help on the inside. Jerry is a perfect fit for their defense.

20. Detroit – Rey Maualuga, ILB - USC

The Lions get a powerful force for the middle of their defense. That's a good start. Maybe now they can at least slow opponents down.

21. Philadelphia – Brandon Pettigrew, TE - Oklahoma State

Pettigrew helps McNabb and Westbrook. He can block and catch to help McNabb. His run blocking would be a big boost to Westbrook and the Eagles alleged running attack.

22. Minnesota – Eben Britton, OT - Arizona

The Vikings have been looking for help at RT. Britton should be the answer.

23. New England – Aaron Maybin, LB - Penn State

Maybin slides due to a so-so Combine, but you can't ignore his explosive burst. The Pats need a gifted pass rusher.

24. Atlanta – Alphonso Smith, CB - Wake Forest

Smith gives the Falcons a playmaking CB. Chris Houston can cover, but just isn't a playmaker.

25. Miami – James Laurinaitis, ILB - Ohio State

Channing Crowder re-signed, but Akin Ayodele is a short term answer. The Fish could use another quality inside 'backer. Laurinaitis seems like a Tuna kind of player.

26. Baltimore – Darius Butler, CB - UConn

The Ravens need a CB who can handle man coverage. Butler would be a great fit. Plus, he can hit and tackle the way they like.

27. Indianapolis – Brian Robiskie, WR - Ohio State

Marvin Harrison is long gone. That leaves an opening at receiver. Robiskie isn't a burner, but he is NFL ready and seems like their kind of player.

28. Philadelphia – Hakeem Nicks, WR - UNC

Eagles fans have been screaming for Anquan Boldin. They can't have him, but they get a prospect with a similar build and skill set. Their wish comes true in a roundabout way.

29. N.Y. Giants – Knowshon Moreno, RB - Georgia

Great complement to Brandon Jacobs. Moreno could thrive in the Giants offense.

30. Tennessee – DJ Moore, CB - Vanderbilt

DJ ran sorta slow at the Combine. I'm assuming he'll improve that at his Pro Day. He is a playmaker and has some RS ability.

31. Arizona – Donald Brown, RB - UConn

Brown gives the Cards a workhorse runner for the offense. Edge finally gets his walking papers.

32. Pittsburgh – Michael Oher, OT - Ole Miss

Great value. Oher has good upside, but needs some work. Put him in a run-heavy offense and that should give him time to develop. Can play G or T early on.
