Going with option C and quick-simming a month per day works just fine as far as player development. I'd have no problem with that, but the contract thing would still be a huge mess.

As far as the contracts, we won't know until we try. Might as well try it before we turf a season out the window. And I agree on the draft. Really, we could start the draft now if guys had their drafting done.

That's what I had in mind. Maybe 10 or 15 days instead of a month. Player development people get their needs met and player transaction people get to keep their deals. The draft order would remain the same. People would have time to offer their contracts, etc. I would still want to manipulate the playoffs so that Wil wins his Cup.


Is this something that we can all get behind? Like Drew said about 5 or 6 pages ago, this is about playing a game for fun and we don't want to lose GM's over this.

Someone should try and sim the game forward and try to offer some of the contracts out and see what happens.

Of course if we are having three sims per month you'd have quite a few chances to offer contracts.

It's not about chances Wil. If me team is int he shitter I will have to pay more for a guy. And considering how shitty the cap is at 39 mill...
