swine flu has hit the pheonix area. i will continue to check on my team daily and make any adjustments needed just wanted to let you know that i probably wont be at any live sims for another week or so. thanks for understanding. talk to you guys soon |

Heh H1N1 is mostly everywhere... its not really worth being paranoid about. Its only dangerous if your immune system is weakened from something else. I work in and around hospitals and care facilities all the time... gotta keep things in perspective, 'pandemics' are always blown out of proportion. On that note, hope you and the people you know stay healthy! |

FYI, the flu is a respiratory illness not intestinal. You do not throw up with the flu. People use the term 'stomach flu' all the time, but there is no such thing as stomach flu.

FYI the flu can cause vomiting, H1N1 causes a high fever and high fevers can result in severe nausea. My coworker is in quarantine with H1N1 right now and the first symptoms they had were a high fever followed by a whole lot of upchuck. But yah the flu is respiratory and there is no stomach flu. |
