Wild gets
-----------
Michael Ryder

Avs get
---------
Benoit Pouliot
Pierre-Marc Bouchard

With Okposo coming in, hopefully I can play him on the 2nd line.

Bouchard gives me a great 3rd line centre, behind Sakic and Gomez

and having just traded Ladd, Pouliot should help fill that void in the ahl.

I have a big surplus of centers, with Mueller likely making the team this year. and im not a big fan of PMD, hes been very dissapointing. Even though he has the atts of a decent playmaker, he hasn't produced very well, even when playing with Elias and Hossa. Plus his low bravery leaves me worried come playoff time.

Pouliot looks like he will be a decent 2-3rd liner, hes got great speed and an good shot, but his offensive instincts are not very good (low anticipation, getting open). I already 4362 players like that (Veilleux, Deveraux, Reinprecht, etc)

Ryder brings somehting ive been dying for so long, a winger with a good shot, but more importantly, good offensive instincts. Combine that with a new, more offensive minded coach, should help me alot.

My planned lines next season:
Elias-Mueller-Hossa <- Elias and Hossa have great shots, Mueller has the size and blance to plant himself in front of the net, along with great deflections, and a quick wristshot for the rebounds
McEachern-White-Ryder <- sens cicra 1999? Ryder brings a lethal shot for the 2nd line, had 80+pts a few seasons ago
Nilson-Niedermayer-Lapointe <- solid defensive line
Veilleux-Reinprecht-Deveraux <-tons of speed to burn, responsible defensively, and will probaly chip in for quite a few goals
