Seniors and adults in general suffering from hearing and visual impairments are very likely able to qualify for FREE phones to assist them with their impairment. For the hearing impaired the CTAP program offers a very large selection of phones for your home that amplify the voice of the person you are listening too. For the visually impaired there is a large selection of phones with large buttons for dialing and large displays for seeing the number you dialed and some with voice feedback. This program is called the California Telephone Access Program (CTAP) and the web address is www/ddtp.org/ctap. If you have a need for this product, make use of the program. Again its free. |
