And The Temple of Doom
I just got one from the flea market and I forgot how much I missed it. Instead of re-acquiring my old collection I think I wanna play the games that I missed out on, or was never able to beat. Currently I am playing Hybrid Heaven, which has always been a favorite but I could never finish due to it requiring a memory card for saving files (Why a cartridge based system ever needed those in the first place is beyond me).

I'm searching high and low for Mystic Ninja Starring Goemon, that is yet another wonderful N64 game that I never finished due to memory card bs. It's a bit hard to find cheap though, but hopefully I'll get lucky.

Go ahead and recommend me some games, preferably sleeper hits or stuff that you just have a special love for. I wanna rediscover this very under-appreciated system.

Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie are great choices, along with the classic Goldeneye and the Pokemon Stadium games too.

Those are so... pedestrian.

Hahahaha, I kid I kid. They are good games but I'm looking for the hidden gems of the system. I will admit to never have played BT though, so if I ever stumble upon it I might try.

How does muffin?
Vigilante 8 and Vigilante 8 2nd offence
One of the earlier mario cart imitators but with better graphics and over the top 70's sterotypes shooting missiles at each other
it's not a race game, just a battle royal in cars
it has a campain line but it's a lot more fun to play with friends

theres only a total of like 100 N64 games ever yknow

anyway, Snowboard Kids 64 was goddamn awesome

as was Yoshis Story (better than Island IMO and you cant properly pirate yoshis story so there's also that!!)

was Brave Fencer Musashi for the n64? or was that a ps1 title? i dont remember. Either way those first two were really good games

Musashi was PS1 so that's out.

If you're after Goemon, keep an eye out for Goemon's Great Adventure. It's more akin to the classic games in the series in that you'r presented with a horde of 2d platformer levels as opposed to Starring Goemon's Zelda approach, but it's more of the same great visual style and music, plus an actual level of difficulty.

I remember 1080 Snowboarding being pretty cool but this was ages ago and, as Flak said, this system has like a handful of games.

Turok 1 and 2 aren't terribly well made games to play, but they're awesome as FUCK to cheat in. Just pop in all weapons or something and go nuts exploding everything around you in the most fantastic ways possible.

Blast Corps is kinda legendary these days so definitely that too. Demolish everything in the path of a slowly moving nuclear bomb disposal truck in the most outlandish ways available.

Well if both Goemon games are hard to find I doubt Megaman Legends/64 would be any easier. Mischief Makers and Shadowgate 64 were pretty obsure entities. If you want to abuse yourself there's always Superman or Daikatana (proof that the system was host to some of the worst and the best of it's generation - and possibly more of the former than the latter).

I'd recomend the original Conker's Bad Fur Day but that just reminds me of the death of the system.
Flak, don't take this the wrong way but I got a sausage over here with your name on it.
