The Duchess of Administration

I was reading a book, and the two main characters played this game. I thought it seemed like fun, so here it is. :] The way it works is that one person gives a topic, such as a movie, a book, a trend, an artist (musical or otherwise), etc, and the other summarizes it in a sentence. For example, if given the topic "The Titanic (movie)", one could say "Rich girl escapes while poor artist drowns when mega-ship sees only the tip of the iceburg and sinks as the crew rearranges deck chairs while the band plays on." Then it's rated between one and four stars. The more "and"s in the sentence, the lower the score, but cliches up the score. Of course the example given above, from e. l. konigsburg's Silent to the Bone, is four stars, and most won't be that good. So yeah, what do you think? |
