When I was a little kid, I wanted a pet monkey. I never got one though, sadly... Well, he would have made a big mess anyway!

And.. Umm... Was that a real story, or were you joking, Todd? It didn't sound like you were being serious, really.

it is a real story! michael is my brother........he told me a few mornings ago to get up and watch the morning news with him. michael tells this better......

but some lady had a pet chimp. she raised him for several years. she taught him even how to drive a car down a her street. and she taught him all this neat stuff. well, one day she got a haircut. just so happens she cut like 7 or 8 inches off her hair. the chimp didnt recongnize her, so he full out attacked her.

yeah, i heard this story. chimp flipped out.
but i mean . . . they put it to sleep.

when you get a pet chimp i should think that you'd know the risks involved. . . it's not a housecat.

well the poor monkey didn't know better. she cut so much of her hair off. if michael or charlee came home with a new face......i would be swinging punches too.

the chimp couldn't register fast enough that it was really his owner.

I feel bad for the chimp to be honest, poor thing. This is why I am against people having wild animals as pets.

Well Todd, remember that night...it was Charlee, you, and me coming home late. Mom had rearranged the furniture in our basement [Which is like a second house, since we have everything down here. Kitchen, bathrooms, living room, game room, plus our rooms.]

Well she moved our big round couch. We were walking in the dark, since we know our surroundings. All of a sudden, all three of us just fall completly over the couch. She came downstairs with a baseball bat, and missed Todd's head by nearly an inch.

It isin't just chimps. Every living thing, fears danger and things unknown.
